Description

【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はグリシンを含有したキヤツトフードに
関する。 〔従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする問題
点〕 従来から、キヤツトフードに対してその嗜好性
を向上させるために、種々の物質の添加が試みら
れているが、未だ充分とはいい難い。 本発明者らは、キヤツトフードの嗜好性を向上
させるために種々検討した結果、本発明を見い出
した。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 即ち本発明はグリシンを含有したキヤツトフー
ドに関する。 本発明におけるキヤツトフードは、固形、ペレ
ツト、粒状などの形態およびドライ、セミモイス
トあるいは缶詰などのタイプ等特に制限されな
い。又その原料としては、例えばとうもろこし、
小麦粉、米糖、ミートミール、魚粉、大豆粕、大
豆白絞油、ビタミン混合物、ミネラル混合物など
の組合わせがある。 本発明においてグリシンの使用量は、キヤツト
フード(乾物重量)に対して約0.1〜10重量%が
好ましい。 本発明のキヤツトフードの製造は、キヤツトフ
ードにグリシンを添加混合することにより行われ
るが、固形の場合にはその表面に吸着又はコーテ
イングしてもよい。 本発明の好ましい態様として、グリシン以外に
かつお内臓エキス、大豆油、月見草油、タウリン
食塩等のうち1種以上を添加したものを用いるこ
とが挙げられる。この場合、これら混合物は固形
キヤツトフードをコーテイングするのに使用する
のが好ましい。その際の使用量は、約3〜4重量
%である。この場合、各成分の量は任意であるが
例えばグリシン1重量部当りかつお内臓エキス
(乾物として)約1.5〜3重量部、食塩約0.3〜0.6
重量部及びタウリン約0.1〜0.3重量部である。か
つお内臓エキスとしては、特に特開昭54−117779
号に記載された自己消化物を挙げることが出来
る。 本発明のキヤツトフードには、上述の態様以外
にも、従来キヤツトフードに用いられている添加
物を一緒に用いてもかまわない。 〔実施例〕 次に、実施例を示す。 実施例 1 () とうもろこし粉200Kg、小麦粉300Kg、脱
脂米ぬか20Kg、ミートミール100Kg、魚粉100
Kg、大豆粕150Kg、大豆白絞油10Kg、ビタミン
混合物20Kg、ミネラル混合物30Kgをミキサーに
切り込み、よく攪拌混合した。次に、エクスト
ルーダーに110Kg/時で供給し、加水14/時、
水蒸気16.5Kg/時、造粒温度143℃で成形した
後乾燥して基礎キヤツトフードを得た。 () 得られた基礎キヤツトフード940Kgを回
転ドラムに移し、ドラムを回転させながら予め
50℃に加熱溶解した牛脂20Kgを噴霧した後、か
つおエキス粉末20Kg、タウリン10Kgとグリシン
20Kgを混合したものを添加してグリシン約2重
量%含有キヤツトフードを得た。 実施例 2 実施例1()で得られた基礎キヤツトフード
980Kgを回転ドラムに入れ、グリシン20重量%水
溶液100Kgをドラムを回転させながら噴霧した後
乾燥して、グリシン約2重量%含有キヤツトフー
ドを得た。 実施例 3 小麦粉300Kg、魚粉200Kg、かつおエキス粉末27
Kg、牛脂30Kg、ビタミン混合物10Kg、ミネラル混
合物40Kg、プロピレングリコール50Kg、燐酸20
Kg、ソルビン酸カリウム3Kg、グリシン80Kg、水
150Kgをミキサーに切り込み、よく攪拌混合した。
次に混合物をエクストルーダーに110Kg/時で供
給し、加水14/時、水蒸気16.5Kg/時、造粒温
度140℃により成型してグリシン約8重量%を含
む水分23重量%(水分活性0.8)のセミモイスト
キヤツトフードを得た。 実施例 4 チキンミンチ76Kg、豚レバーミンチ20Kg、ビタ
ミン混合物2Kg、グリシン1Kg、アラニン1Kgを
ミキサーに取りよく攪拌混合した。次に缶詰製造
機により充填、脱気、巻締を行つた後、120℃50
分加熱滅菌を行つてグリシン約1重量%を含むキ
ヤツトフード用チキン・レバー入り缶詰を得た。 実施例 5 かつおエキス(かつおの内臓を自己消化させて
得られる水分45重量%のペースト状エキス)109
Kg(乾物重量60Kg)にグリシン25Kg、食塩10Kg、
タウリン5Kgを加え、さらに水を加えて全体の水
分含量を80重量%として、混合攪拌し均一系とし
た。 この混合物をスプレードライし、粒度60メツシ
ユ以下の微粉末90Kgを得た。 実施例1()で得た基礎キヤツトフード94Kg
をミキサーに入れ、攪拌しながら大豆油2Kgを均
一にコーテイングした後、さらに上記の微粉末4
Kgをコーテイングしてキヤツトフードを得た。 実施例 6 実施例5の大豆油に代えて月見草油(γ−リノ
レン酸75%含有)を20%混合した大豆油を用いた
以外は実施例5と同様にしてキヤツトフードを得
た。 〔効果〕 本発明の効果を示す。 即ち、実施例2においてグリシンの添加量を
0.5重量%、2重量%、4重量%、8重量%と変
化させたキヤツトフードを、日本猫16匹、16区に
それぞれ併置給与し、食下量を測定した。一方、
コントロールとして、グリシンの不存在以外は実
施例2と同じ組成のキヤツトフードを同時に与え
た。試験はそれぞれ5回行いその平均値をとつ
た。食下量は、16匹(16区)の総量(5回の平
均)であつて、1日のものである。結果を次に示
