本考案は水道配管に接続して使用され、無断使
用ができないようにした開閉防止型止水栓に関す
るものである。

ようにしたものであり、前記コネクターを挿脱位
置から抜き取つてしまうことで開閉防止対策がな
されているのである。

特にこの種止水栓がメータボツクス内に配設され
ることを考慮すると、メータボツクスが冠水した
場合に、前記結合孔に泥水などの異物が入ること
もしばしばあつて、前記コネクターが挿脱できな
くなると云う課題も有している。

供するものであり、前記J字状の切溝とバネ部材
とを設けることにより、栓部が略完全に閉まつて
からでないと、取外し栓棒が抜き取れないため、
中途半端な閉栓状態で不使用状態にすることがな
くなり、しかもカラーと栓棒の上端との嵌合離脱
であるため、異物が付着したにしても、両者の嵌
合離脱に不都合は生じないのである。

11が刻設され、前記筐体6のネジ部12と螺合
しており、栓棒4の回転によつて栓部3が上下動
し、止水栓の開閉を行うように構成されている。
前記栓棒の上端部4aには、横方向に突出させ
てボス部13が設けられ、この上端部4aが嵌合
すると共に前記ボス部13が係合する略J字状の
切溝14を備えたカラー15が取外し栓棒16の
下端部に取り付けられ、該取外し栓棒16の上端
部16aは前記蓋部材10を貫通して外部に突出
させると共に、その上端部にハンドル17が嵌め
込まれ、ビス18により固定されている。前記カ
ラー15の下端面には前記J字状の切溝14に臨
ませてバネ部材19が取り付けられ、該バネ部材
は切溝14内に係合するボス部13を常に一方向
に付勢するように作用している。この一方向と
は、J字状の切溝14における曲面状の係合部1
4a側であり、この係合部にボス部13が係合し
ている時には、栓棒4が開栓方向に回転する時で

ル17を時計方向に回すことにより、カラー15
及び栓棒4を介して栓部3が閉栓するようにな
り、その閉栓が正確に行われた状態において更に
ハンドル17を時計方向に回転する行為をしなが
ら、ハンドル17を上方に引き上げることによつ
て、カラー15が栓棒4から抜け出す。即ち、ハ
ンドル17を時計方向に回転させることで、ボス
部13がバネ部材19を押戻し係合部14aから
切溝14側に位置しており、この状態を維持しな
がらハンドル17を上方に引き上げることでカラ
ー15が栓棒4から抜け出すのである。従つて、
ハンドル17を時計方向に回すことは栓部3を閉
栓させる行為であり、しかも閉栓が確立された後
において、カラー15が栓棒4から抜け出すこと
ができるのである。そして、蓋部材10と共に取
外し栓棒16を抜き取つた後に、ケース9の上部
に盲目蓋21を螺着させておけばよいのである。

構成したので、水道不使用の場合の無断使用を防
止する際、ハンドルが取付けられた取外し栓棒を
離脱させようとした時に、栓部を閉る方向に回転
させなければ抜き取れないため、確実な閉栓がな
されて漏水現象が皆無になるばかりでなく、取外
し栓棒を抜き取つた後においては、栓棒がケース
によつて完全に囲まれているため、他の治具では
開栓できず、無断使用が略完全に防止できる等の
種々の優れた効果を奏する。
