のを防止する。(e) Effect Drain water generated by air conditioner operation is stored in the water reservoir of the drain container and then pumped up and discharged by the drain pump or directly discharged through the drain pipe, so it is normally used as a receiving water. No drain water flows into the unit, and the detector is not immersed in drain water. However, if the drain pump malfunctions or the drain piping is clogged with dust, etc. and the drain water cannot be discharged, the water level in the water reservoir rises, and when this water level exceeds the overflow guide surface, the drain water is inclined downward. It quickly flows into the water receiving area along the guide surface. When the level of drain water in the water receiving section rises due to this inflow, the drain water detector is activated and notifies the drain pump of failure or clogged drain piping. Prevents drain water from overflowing to the outside.

and a donut-shaped float 12 in which a magnet 11 is embedded, and as the drain water level rises, the float 12 moves upward along the guide rod 10 from the solid line position to the dashed line position. When the magnet 11 faces the reed switch 9, the reed switch 9 is turned on. 13 is connected to the reed switch 9 and is connected to the introduction hole 6
15 is a support for fixing the guide rod 10 to the water receiving part 5, and 16 is a locking device for preventing the float 12 from falling off the guide rod 10. , 17 are fixtures for fixing the water receiving part 5 to the base plate 19 with screws 20, which are inserted into the recess 18 from below.

Since the drain water is being drained, the water level of the drain water 4 is at the inlet end 2 of the introduction hole 6.
4, drain water will not accumulate in the water receiving part 5, and the guide rod 10 and float 12 will not be immersed in the drain water.

It begins to flow inward. During such operation, indoor air is flowing in the direction of the solid line arrow shown in the drawing, and some of this air flows into the introduction hole 6 through the opening 14 as shown by the chain line arrow, and the flow direction of the drain water flowing down the guide surface 7. Even if there is wind pressure in the opposite direction, the guide surface 7 is tilted downward from the water reservoir section 3 toward the water receiving section 5, so that the drain water quickly flows along the guide surface 7 into the water receiving section 5. flows into. Furthermore, even if the air conditioner is installed diagonally and the water reservoir section 3 side is slightly downward, the drain water flows into the water receiving section 5 along the downwardly sloping guide surface 7. The drain water 4 does not overflow from the peripheral edge 25 of the portion 3.

外方へドレン水があふれ出すことはない。 In this way, the drain water flows into the water receiving part 5, the water level of the drain water in the water receiving part 5 rises, and the float 12 moves upward along the guide rod 10 from the position shown by the solid line to the position shown by the dashed-dotted line. Then magnet 1
1 faces the reed switch 9, the reed switch 9 is turned on, and a failure of the drain pump 22 is notified. At the same time, by stopping the operation of the compressor, the refrigerant evaporation action of the heat exchanger 1 is stopped and no drain water is generated, so that the drain water does not overflow from the water reservoir 3 to the outside of the drain container 2.

する。 In this state, the drain pump 22 is repaired and inspected, and the fitting 17 is removed and the water receiving part 5 is pulled out downward to drain the drain water inside the water receiving part 5 and to prevent it from adhering to the guide rod 10 and the float 12. The service inspection work is completed by wiping off the drain water and inserting it into the recess 18 again.

If an abnormality occurs in the drain water treatment function due to a failure of the drain pump in the water reservoir or a blockage in the drain piping, the drain water detector will function normally and can reliably detect abnormal conditions in the drain water. It is possible to prevent alarms from occurring and drain water from overflowing from the drain container.

することができる。 In addition, the overflow guide surface is shaped downward from the water reservoir to the water receiving section, so the drain water flowing on the guide surface is not affected by wind pressure in the opposite direction, and the drain container is slightly tilted to prevent air conditioning. Even when the machine is installed, drain water overflowing from the water reservoir is quickly guided to the water receiving section, and it is possible to prevent drain water from overflowing outward from the drain container.
