Devices that separate water into alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water have been developed. Alkaline ionized water exhibits excellent dissolving power and penetrating power in addition to its softening and enriching properties. Acidic ionized water exhibits excellent cleaning, sterilizing, and bleaching properties. Taking advantage of these effects, alkaline ionized water is used for drinking water, water for diluting water, and water for coffee and tea. Also,
Acidic ion water is used for boiling noodles, water for cooking beans, washing water for fruits and vegetables, water for boiling eggs, cleaning water, etc. Acidic ionized water and alkaline ionized water are obtained by providing positive and negative electrodes in a water passage and electrolyzing water with the electrodes. That is, negative ions such as chlorine and sulfur contained in water are electrically attracted to the positive electrode, and positive ions such as calcium ions, sodium ions, magnesium ions, or potassium ions contained in the water are attracted to the negative electrode. be attracted. For this reason,
The water drained from the vicinity of the positive electrode becomes acidic ionized water containing a large amount of negative ions, and the water drained from the vicinity of the negative electrode becomes alkaline ionized water containing a large amount of positive ions. This device is equipped with a filter in the water passageway to remove odor components and foreign substances contained in the water. The filter is filled with activated carbon as a filtering material. The water that has been made clear by the filter is
The water is odorless and tastes even better. However, this filter becomes clogged as it is used, so it must be replaced at regular intervals. For example, if a filter filled with about 500 c.c. of activated carbon is used for commercial purposes, it will become clogged in about three months and will need to be replaced. With electrolyzed ionized water generators, if the filter becomes clogged and the amount of water decreases, it will not only take a long time to produce the same amount of water. There is a drawback that when the amount of water decreases, the concentration of ions contained in the water changes. This is because the ion concentration is determined as a function of the current value between the electrodes and the flow rate of water. When the interelectrode current is constant and the amount of water decreases, the ion concentration increases, and conversely, when the amount of water increases, the ion concentration decreases. This device has the disadvantage that it is extremely difficult to use when the ion concentration changes. This is because it is necessary to adjust the inter-electrode voltage in order to adjust the ion concentration each time it is used.

Conventional electrolytic ionized water generators have had the disadvantage that as they are used, the filters become clogged, the water flow rate decreases, and the ion concentration fluctuates.
On the other hand, the electrolyzed ionized water generating device of this invention has the advantage of reducing clogging of the filter and reducing fluctuations in the ion concentration of water. This is because the electrolyzed ionized water generating device of this invention can change the connection state of the filter to allow water to flow back into the filter. After using the electrolyzed ionized water generating device of this invention for a certain period of time, the inlet 1A and the outlet 1B of the filter 1 are replaced. That is, at first, the water inlet 1A is connected to the supply pipe 5 and the outlet 1B is connected to the discharge pipe 6, but after using it for a certain period of time, the filter 1 is replaced and the filter inlet 1A is connected to the water outlet 1A.
is connected to the discharge pipe 6, and the discharge port 1B is connected to the supply pipe 5. In the filter 1 used in this state, water initially flows in the forward direction from the inlet 1A to the outlet 1B, but after being replaced, water flows from the outlet 1B to the supply pipe 5. flow backwards. The filter 1 that allows water to flow back after being used for a certain period of time can prevent clogging for a long period of time. This is because by backflowing the water, foreign matter stuck between the filter media 4 can be backwashed, and the flow path of the water is changed, making it easier to flow. Furthermore, when the filter 1 is replaced and the water flows backward, the flow state of the water changes and the part through which it flows changes. That is, if you place a solid in a stream of water,
A vortex forms on the downstream side of the solid, creating a stagnant area, but when the water flows backwards, the downstream side changes to the upstream side, so water flows well even into areas that would have been stagnant in the forward direction. Therefore, when the water is made to flow back, the water flows uniformly over the entire surface of the filter medium 4, and the entire filter medium 4 effectively adsorbs malodorous components of the water. Therefore, the utilization efficiency of the filter medium 4 is improved and the adsorption capacity is not lost for a long period of time. However, immediately after the water is reversed, foreign matter stuck between the filter media 4 flows out and dirty water is produced, but after the water is drained for a certain period of time and the foreign matter is removed, the water becomes clear again. In this way, the electrolyzed ionized water generating device of this invention, which can be used by replacing the filter 1 and backwashing it, prevents the filter 1 from clogging over a long period of time and prevents fluctuations in the amount of water. It has the advantage of making the ion concentration of water uniform. Furthermore, since clogging of the filter 1 is prevented, the life of the filter 1 itself can be extended.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below based on the drawings. However, the embodiments shown below are illustrative of a device for embodying the technical idea of this invention, and the device of this invention differs from the material, shape, and shape of the component parts.
The structure and arrangement are not limited to those shown below.
Various modifications may be made to the device of this invention within the scope of the claims for utility model registration. Furthermore, in order to make it easier to understand the scope of claims for utility model registration, this specification includes numbers corresponding to the members shown in the examples in the "column of claims for utility model registration",
and the members shown in the "Column of Means for Solving Conventional Problems". However, the members shown in the scope of the utility model registration claims are by no means limited to the members of the embodiments. The electrolytic ionized water generating device shown in FIG. 1 includes a water filter 1, an electrolytic cell 2, and a power source 16. The filter 1 filters the supplied tap water through a filter material 4.
The water is filtered to remove odor components such as chlorine and foreign substances contained in the water. The filter 1 consists of a cartridge case 3 and a filtering material 4, and the filtering material 4 is filled in the cartridge case 3. The filter material 4 may be any material that can filter water clearly and remove odor components, such as activated carbon, porous natural stone, porous natural stone crushed and sintered into granules, etc. due to its adsorption capacity. Good granules can be used. For example, particles having an average particle diameter of 1 to 10 mm are used as the filter material 4. The cartridge case 3 is usually designed to have a volume that can be filled with several hundred cc of filter material 4 so that it can be used for several months. The cartridge case 3 shown in FIG. 1 has a cylindrical overall shape, the upper and lower ends are closed, and the bottom plate is provided with a cylinder.
This cylindrical body also has an inlet 1A and an outlet 1B open. The inside of the case of the inlet 1A and the outlet 1B are closed with a porous member 7. The porous member 7 prevents the filter material 4 from coming out from the inlet 1A and the outlet 1B. Therefore, the porous member 7 used has numerous pores through which the filter medium cannot pass, but water can pass through. Further, water passes through the filter 1 in both forward and reverse directions. Therefore, in the porous member 7,
A hard material is used that does not deform even when water moves in the opposite direction. Conventional filters use a metal plate with a soft material such as nonwoven fabric or synthetic resin foam layered on one side. In a filter with this structure, when the soft material faces the metal plate, water can pass through it, but when water passes through it, the soft material deforms. A filter with this structure can be used when the direction of water passage is constant, but it deforms and cannot be used when water flows in forward or reverse directions. The hard porous member 7 contains inorganic particles 7A.
The best choice is one that is sintered with countless gaps. This inorganic sintered material is sintered and formed into a cylindrical shape with one end closed. As shown in FIG. 1, the shaped inorganic sintered material is inserted and fixed via a fixed tube into a tube that constitutes an inlet 1A and an outlet 1B. As shown in FIG. 3, this porous member 7 is made by sintering inorganic particles 7A into a porous state. As the inorganic particles 7A, corrosion-resistant metal particles such as aluminum, brass, and stainless steel, or particles obtained by crushing natural stone into particles are used. When the inorganic particles 7A are fired, some of them are melted and welded to each other at the contact point, the contact point is bonded with another binder, or the contact point is bonded with both. There is. The sintering material to which a portion of the inorganic particles 7A is melted and bonded is prepared by mixing the inorganic particles 7A and a binder and firing the mixture. As the binder, a synthetic resin binder that is burnt out by the heat during firing but can keep the inorganic particles 7A in a fixed shape until firing is used, or a flux that lowers the melting point of the inorganic particles 7A is used. . The porous member 7 in which the inorganic particles 7A are sintered with another binder has the particles 7A which are melted and binds the inorganic particles when fired, and the inorganic particles 7.
A is mixed and molded and fired. The size of the voids formed in the porous member 7 to be fired can be adjusted by the particle size of the inorganic particles 7A and the particle size of the binder mixed therein. Since the porous member 7 is for preventing the filtering material 4 from flowing out, the voids of the porous member 7 are determined to be sufficiently smaller than the average particle diameter of the filtering material 4. The device of this invention is characterized in that the filter 1 can be replaced and used multiple times. When replacing the filter 1, the inlet 1A and the outlet 1B of the filter 1 are connected to the supply pipe 5 and the discharge pipe 6 at the same time. The inlet 1A and the outlet 1B are provided at the lower end of the cartridge case 3. Inlet port 1A and outlet port 1 of cartridge case 3
B is detachably connected to both the water supply pipe 5 and the water discharge pipe 6. That is, the inflow port 1A and the discharge port 1B are constructed of cylinders having the same diameter so that they can be connected to either the supply pipe 5 or the discharge pipe 6. In addition, by rotating the cartridge case 3 180 degrees and inserting and removing it, the inlet port 1A and the outlet port 1B can be connected.
As shown in the bottom view of FIG. 2, they are provided at symmetrical positions on the bottom of the cartridge case 3 so that they can be replaced and removed. The filter 1 is fixed so as not to come off, with the inlet 1A and the outlet 1B connected to the supply pipe 5 and the discharge pipe 6. As the structure for fixing the filter 1, any structure that can detachably fix the filter can be adopted. The filter 1 shown in FIG. 1 is fixed via an attachment/detachment tool 28. As shown in FIG. The attachment/detachment tool 28 is fixed by pulling the upper edge of a ring provided in the shape of a brim at the lower end of the filter 1. This attachment/detachment tool 28 is made of an elastic wire so as to elastically fix the filter 1. The upper end of the attachment/detachment tool 28 is bent inward to have a hook-like shape, and the lower end is rotatably connected to the mounting base. When the upper end of the attachment/detachment tool 28 is pushed outward and opened to the chain line position, the filter 1 can be removed and replaced. After replacing the filter 1, push the attachment/detachment tool 28 inward to fix the filter in the solid line position. The supply pipe 5 and the discharge pipe 6 are connected to the filter 1 here.
As shown in FIG. 1, the tips are fixed upward so that they can be connected. With the filter 1 fixed on the mounting base, the supply pipe 5 and the discharge pipe 6 are connected to the inlet 1A and the outlet 1B of the filter. Therefore, the supply pipe 5 and the discharge pipe 6 are located inside the mount, spaced apart by the same distance as the inlet port 1A and the discharge port 1B, and provided in symmetrical positions with respect to each other. The supply pipe 5 and the discharge pipe 6 are connected to the inlet 1 without water leakage.
Although not shown, a cylindrical rubber-like elastic body is adhered to the inner surface so that it can be connected to the discharge port 1B. The inner diameter of the supply pipe 5 and the discharge pipe 6 is the inlet port 1A.
The outer diameter of the cylinder constituting the discharge port 1B is slightly smaller than that of the cylinder. The electrolytic cell 2 electrolyzes the water that has passed through the filter 1 and separates it into alkaline ionized water containing positive ions and acidic ionized water containing negative ions. Ionized water ionized in the electrolytic cell 2 is drained from an alkaline ionized water drainage channel 10 and an acidic ionized water drainage channel 11. The alkaline ionized water drainage channel 10 and the acidic ionized water drainage channel 11 have valves 2 for controlling the drainage state.
0 and 21 are connected. Electrodes 8 and 9 of the electrolytic cell 2 are connected to a power source 16. The apparatus shown in FIG. 1 also includes a drain valve 12 that communicates with the electrolytic cell 2 and is opened and closed by an electrical signal, a wash water drain channel 18 to which the drain valve 12 is connected midway, and a drain valve 12 that is connected to the drain valve 12. and a control circuit 19 that controls the power supply 16 and the power supply 16 . A tap water supply pipe 5 supplies supply water to the filter 1 . The tap water supplied to filter 1 is
It passes through the filter material 4 and is filtered. The discharge pipe 6 sends the filtered water that has passed through the filter 1 to the electrolytic cell 2 . Therefore, this discharge pipe 6 is connected to the electrolytic cell 2. The electrolytic cell 2 includes a positive electrode 8 that obtains acidic ionized water from inflowing water, and a negative electrode 9 that obtains alkaline ionized water. Moreover, the electrolytic cell 2 is
It is connected to an alkaline ionized water drainage channel 10 and an acidic ionized water drainage channel 11, which discharge alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water separated by an electrode. The negative electrode 9 is also used as a case. The case is made of a conductive, corrosion-resistant metal such as stainless steel, and is made in the shape of a cylindrical tank that is strong enough to withstand the pressure of tap water. The case has a lower end connected to the discharge pipe 6 of the filter 1, and an upper end connected to an alkaline ion water drainage channel 10 and an acidic ion water drainage channel 11. The positive electrode 8 is formed in a cylindrical shape and is provided at the center of the case. Negative ions such as chlorine ions gather at the positive electrode 8 during electrolysis. For the positive electrode 8, a material with sufficient corrosion resistance against chlorine ions is used. For the positive electrode, for example, titanium whose surface is coated with iridium dioxide can be used. The positive electrode 8 has both ends insulated and projects outside the case. The support part of the positive electrode 8 of the case is
Non-conductive materials are used. The positive electrode 8 and the negative electrode 9 are connected to a DC power source 16 via a changeover switch 23. The output voltage of the power supply 16, that is, the voltage between both electrodes, is determined in consideration of the flow rates of alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water, the electrode area, and the required ion concentrations contained in the alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water. Typically, the voltage between the electrodes is adjusted to a range of 20 to 100 volts. The content of ions ionized in the electrolytic cell 2 is proportional to the current between the electrodes. The current between the electrodes is approximately proportional to the voltage. Therefore, the ion concentrations contained in alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water can be adjusted by adjusting the voltage between the electrodes. When the voltage between the electrodes is increased, the ion concentration contained in alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water increases. The optimum ion concentration of alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water differs depending on the use. By adjusting the voltage between the electrodes, you can obtain the optimal ionized water for your application. Therefore, the power source 16 that supplies DC power to the electrodes
Preferably, a type with variable output voltage is used. A porous plate 15 is disposed between the positive electrode 8 and the case, as shown by the chain line. Perforated plate 15
is formed in a cylindrical shape and prevents the acidic ionized water and the alkaline ionized water, which are separated near the positive electrode 8 and the negative electrode 9, from mixing.
An alkaline ion water drainage channel 10 is connected to the center of a plate material that closes the upper end of the perforated plate 15. The acidic ion water drainage channel 11 is opened at the upper end of the outer periphery of the case. Both alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water flowing out from the electrolytic cell 2 are discharged at the same time. When only one type of ionized water is drained, the concentration of the other type of ionized water gradually increases. Therefore, it is not preferable to discharge only either alkaline ionized water or acidic ionized water. The apparatus shown in FIG. 1 includes valves 20,
21 are connected. A water faucet is normally used as the valve 20 of the alkaline ionized water drainage channel 10. A solenoid valve is used as the valve 21 of the acidic ion water drainage channel 11. Alkaline ion water drainage channel 10
A flow sensor 14 is connected in the middle. This flow sensor 14 controls the solenoid valve 21 of the acidic ion water drainage channel 11. Further, a flow sensor 27 is also connected in the middle of the discharge pipe 6. Flow sensors 14 and 27 control electromagnetic valve 21 to open and close it. That is, the valve 20 which is a faucet
When opened and alkaline ionized water flows out,
The flow sensor 27 detects this and opens the electromagnetic valve 21. Therefore, the flow sensor 27
detects the drainage status of alkaline ionized water and
When alkaline ionized water is discharged, acidic ionized water is also discharged. When valve 20, which is a faucet, is closed, this is detected by flow sensor 14, and valve 21 is closed. The flow sensor 14 also controls the power switch 17 together with the solenoid valve 21. A voltage is applied to the electrodes 8 and 9 when the alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water are discharged. When the alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water are not drained, no voltage is applied to the electrodes 8 and 9. Therefore, when the flow sensor 14 detects draining of alkaline ionized water, the power switch 17 is turned on, and when the alkaline ionized water is not drained, the power switch 17 is turned off. The device shown in Figure 1 consists of alkaline ion water drainage channel 1.
A faucet is used for the valve 20 of 0. This type of device can be conveniently used primarily in applications using alkaline ionized water. The acidic ionized water drainage path 11 and the alkaline ionized water drainage path 10 are connected to each other by a wash water drainage path 18 with a drainage valve 12 interposed therebetween. The cleaning water drain path 18 drains the cleaning water during electrical cleaning by applying a cleaning voltage of opposite polarity to the electrodes 8 and 9. In the electrode cleaning step, voltages of opposite polarity are applied to the electrodes 8 and 9 to remove deposits on the electrode surfaces. Through the cleaning process, the electrical resistance of the electrode in contact with water is reduced, and the current flowing through the water can be greatly restored. The device shown in FIG.
and electrolytic cell 2 of alkaline ion water drainage channel 10
The part close to is branched into two and connected to the wash water drainage channel 18. Drain valves 12 are connected to branch paths of the alkaline ionized water drainage channel 10 and the acidic ionized water drainage channel 11, respectively. The cleaning water drainage channel 18 mixes both alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water together to remove deposits on the electrode surface and drain the water. The drain valve 12 is a solenoid valve, and this solenoid valve is opened and closed by a control circuit 19. The control circuit 19 includes a timer 22.
After the cleaning process is completed, the timer 22 holds the drain valve 12 open to discharge the cleaning water. After the interelectrode voltage is switched to zero volts, the water containing ions of opposite polarity can be drained by draining the electrolytic cell 2 and the wash water drain 18 by the drain valve 12. Since the ionized water of opposite polarity is pushed out by the water, the ionized water passage of the electrolytic cell 2 is filled with water instead of the ionized water. In this state, when ionized water is drained by applying a positive voltage to the positive electrode 8 and a negative voltage to the negative electrode 9, the acidic ionized water drainage path 11 and the alkaline ionized water drainage path 10
Initially, neutral water containing no ions is drained. Neutral water has far fewer harmful effects than ionized water of opposite polarity, so it can be used satisfactorily even in this state. By providing the sub-timer 25 in the control circuit 19, proper ion water can be drained immediately after the cleaning process. sub timer 25
The set time is adjusted to be shorter than that of the timer 22. The sub-timer 25 starts counting at the same time as the timer 22, and when it finishes counting, the power switch 17 is turned on to apply an appropriate voltage to the electrodes (the changeover switch 23 is placed in the solid line position in FIG. 1). When the timer 22 finishes counting, the drain valve is closed and the power switch 17 is turned off. That is, after cleaning the electrodes by applying a voltage of opposite polarity to the electrodes 8 and 9, the sub-timer 25 changes the positive electrode 8 to positive.
By applying a negative voltage to the negative electrode 9, the acidic ionized water drainage channel 11 is filled with acidic ionized water, and the alkaline ionized water drainage channel 10 is filled with alkaline ionized water. Additionally, the control circuit of the device shown in FIG. 1 includes a 24-hour timer 26. 24 hour timer 26
The electrodes are cleaned at a predetermined time, for example, late at night when electrolyzed ionized water is not used. Control circuit 1
9 is an electrode changeover switch 23 and a power switch 1
7 and drain valve 12 to clean the electrodes 8 and 9. The 24-hour timer 26 outputs a cleaning signal when the set time comes. The drain valve 12, power switch 17, and power changeover switch 23 are controlled by the cleaning signal. The control circuit 19 cleans the electrodes in the next operation. When the 24-hour timer 26 issues a cleaning signal, the electrode changeover switch 23 is switched to the chain line position in FIG. 1 and the solid line position in FIG. 2, and the power switch 17 is turned on. . At the same time, both drain valves 12 are opened. In this state, the positive electrode 8 is connected to the negative side of the power source 16, the negative electrode is connected to the positive side of the power source 16, and water is supplied to the electrolytic cell 2. That is, both electrodes 8 and 9 are connected to the power source 16 with opposite polarities, and remove deposits on the surface using electrical repulsion. In this state, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 2, the wash water is drained from the wash water drain path 18. After a certain period of time, the deposits on the electrode surface are removed, the electrical resistance between the electrode and water is reduced, and the cleaning of the electrode is completed. When cleaning is completed, control circuit 1
At step 9, the power switch 17 is turned off to set the voltage between the electrodes to zero volts, and the electrode changeover switch 23 is switched to the solid line position in FIG. When the power switch 17 is turned off, the timer 22 starts counting. The timer 22 closes the drain valve 12 while counting.
The valve is held open. In this state, drain valve 1
Ionized water of opposite polarity is drained through 2. At the same time as the timer 22, the sub-timer 25 starts counting. The sub-timer 25 activates the power switch 1 before the drain valve 12 closes.
7 to the on position. In this state,
Appropriate voltage is applied to the electrodes 8 and 9, and the drain valve 12
is held in an open state, and the wash water drain portion of the acidic ion water drain path 11 is filled with acidic ion water, and the wash water drain portion of the alkaline ion water drain path 10 is filled with alkaline ion water. After a certain period of time has elapsed, the timer 22 finishes counting, the power switch 17 is switched to the off position, and the drain valve 12 is closed. When the faucet of the alkaline ionized water drainage channel 10 is opened after the electrodes have been cleaned by the operation of ~, the first
As shown in the figure, a positive voltage is applied to the positive electrode 8 and a negative voltage is applied to the negative electrode 9, and the solenoid valve of the acidic ionized water drainage channel 11 is opened to discharge alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water. . As shown in FIG. 1, the apparatus in which the control circuit 19 includes a 24-hour timer 26 has the advantage that the electrodes can be cleaned at a preset time. However, the control circuit 19 does not necessarily require the 24-hour timer 26, and it is also possible to manually clean the electrodes when not in use. The apparatus shown in FIG. 1 performs cleaning by applying opposite voltages to the electrodes 8 and 9. In this invention, the structure for electrically cleaning the electrodes is not limited to the structure shown in FIG. 1. As shown by the chain line in FIG. 4, it is also possible to provide a cleaning electrode 24 and apply a voltage to the cleaning electrode 24 to clean the electrode. The cleaning electrode 24 applies a negative voltage to the positive electrode 8 and a positive voltage to the negative electrode 9 when cleaning the electrode. In the apparatus shown in FIG. 4, a cleaning electrode 24 is arranged at the center of a cylindrical positive electrode 8. However, although not shown, the cleaning electrode can also be provided outside the positive electrode 8. In this case, the cleaning electrode is formed into a cylindrical shape. In the electrolytic ionized water generation device that cleans the electrode with the cleaning electrode 24, in the cleaning process, the changeover switch 23 is switched to connect the cleaning electrode 24 to the negative side of the power source 16, as shown by the solid line in FIG. , connect the negative electrode 9 to the positive side of the power source 16. In the apparatus shown in FIG. 1, a drain valve 12 connected to the electrolytic cell 2 is provided in the wash water drain channel 18, but the drain valve does not necessarily need to be connected to the drain channel exclusively for the wash water. For example, when draining the ionized water with water by setting the electrode voltage to zero after the electrode cleaning step, the acidic ionized water drainage channel 11 can also be used in conjunction with the cleaning water drainage channel 18. In this case, as shown by the chain line in FIG. The drain valve 12 and wash water drain channel 18 are omitted. A valve 21 connected to the acidic ion water drainage channel 11 is also used as a drainage valve. Acidic ion water drainage channel 1
1 as a wash water drainage channel, the drain valve 12 and
The valve 21, which is also used as a drain valve, is opened. As shown in FIG. 1, a solenoid valve 2 is connected in parallel with the valve 20.
After cleaning the electrodes, the device connected with 9 can drain water by opening the solenoid valves 29 and 21.
