(Prior art) Conventionally, when attempting to protect this type of object from corrosion, for example, an external power supply method, that is, a separately provided DC power source was used to provide a predetermined corrosion protection between the object to be protected and a ground electrode that would serve as an anode. A method of supplying current is known, and in this case, a protection means is provided that is activated when the upper limit value of the anticorrosion current is detected using a fuse or the like.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, although such protection measures are effective for the time being as a countermeasure against excessive current, they cannot be taken as a countermeasure against undercurrent, such as when a continuity failure occurs at a connection part. There was a risk that the anti-corrosion equipment would be rendered ineffective.

In order to keep the output voltage of a DC power supply constant, the output voltage may be automatically controlled using, for example, a potential sensor, but the output voltage may fluctuate due to soiling of the potential sensor, etc. This is not sufficient as a countermeasure against excessive or insufficient current.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made to achieve the above object, and by passing a predetermined anti-corrosion current between the object to be protected and the electrode using a predetermined power source, In a corrosion protection device designed to protect a corrosion-protected body, the detection means detects whether or not the amount of energization in the electrical path that conducts electricity to the object to be corrosion-protected is within a predetermined range; The present invention is characterized in that it is provided with an alarm means that issues an alarm when it is detected that the present invention is not present.

(Function) When the amount of current flowing from the external power source to the object to be protected against corrosion is outside the predetermined range, that is, when it becomes too large or too small relative to the normal corrosion protection current range, a predetermined output is obtained from the detection means and the alarm means is activated.

On the other hand, for example, if a contact failure occurs at the connection between the first connection line 2 and the first object to be protected 6, the alarm circuit 14 is activated. The same applies when the output of the first excess/deficiency current detection circuit 13 is obtained due to excessive current. Of course, the output from the second excess/deficiency current detection circuit 13 can be similarly explained.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, according to the invention, a corrosion protection device is provided in which a predetermined anticorrosion current is passed between the object to be protected and an electrode using a predetermined power source to prevent corrosion of the object to be protected. The apparatus includes a detection means for detecting whether the amount of current in the electrical path that conducts electricity to the object to be protected is within a predetermined range, and an alarm is issued when the detection means detects that the amount of current is not within the predetermined range. Since the structure is equipped with an alarm means, it is possible to detect not only excessive current flowing through the object to be corroded, but also insufficient current that can lead to inability to operate normally, making it easier to prevent the spread of accidents and to quickly repair malfunctioning parts.
