Abstract

PURPOSE:To move a moving element smoothly by providing a nut part screwed with a feed screw, and a coupling body, with the feed screw fittingly inserted therein, for coupling the moving element, and fitting the nut part rotatably to one spherical face of the coupling body and a fitting body on the moving element side rotatably to the other spherical face. CONSTITUTION:A bearing part 5 mounted to a feed screw 2 is formed of a nut part 6 and a fitting body 7. The nut part 6 with a nut 16 mounted thereto is screwed with the feed screw 2. The nut part 6 and fitting body 7 are respectively provided with fitting parts 6a, 7a fitted rotatably in all directions to two spherical parts 15a, 15b of a coupling body 15 with the feed screw 2 fittingly inserted therein. The nut part 6 and fitting part 7 are sprung sideward to interpose a coil spring material 17 for bringing the fitting parts 6a, 7a into elastic contact with the spherical parts 15a, 15b. An air hole 18 is bored in the fitting body 7 so as to be formed into air bearing structure for blowing off air between the fitting part 7a and spherical part 15b. The bearing part 5 is slided along the feed screw 2 by the driving of a motor 4 to move a moving element 13 laterally. When the feed screw 2 is deflected by excess load, the nut part 6 rotates the spherical part 15a so as to absorb this deflection.
