This molding is known to consist of a base central part 12 formed by extrusion molding and having a hollow part 8', and end parts (not shown) joined to both ends of the base central part 12 in the longitudinal direction. ing.
In this method, a central base member is formed by extruding a hollow portion, and end members are also separately molded, and these end members are joined to both ends of the central base member to form the end portions of the molding.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Although the above-mentioned conventional molding is lightweight due to the presence of the hollow part 8' of the molding, when the upper part of the molding that forms the design surface is pressed, the molding is removed with a slight force. There is a problem that the deing is deformed. For this reason, if a rib is formed inside the portion forming the designed surface to increase the mechanical strength, there is a problem that the formation of the rib causes molding defects to shrink on the designed surface, resulting in poor appearance. Further, since the longitudinal center portion of the molding was formed by extrusion molding, end treatment was required. Separate molding of this terminal portion was expensive and required equipment. In addition, it was difficult to align the terminal parts in order to improve the appearance of the parting part of the terminal part.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The molding of the present invention includes a lid portion that constitutes the front surface portion of the molding, a base portion that constitutes the back surface portion of the molding, one side end of the lid portion, and a hinge part that integrally connects one side end of the base part and can be bent inward; and a set of first engaging parts provided at the other end of the lid part and the other side end of the base part, respectively. and a second engaging part, and a rib protruding from the inner surface of the corresponding part, by bending the hinge part and bringing the top surface of the rib into contact with the inner surface of the lid part. The lid part is supported by the ribs, and is manufactured by joining the first engaging part and the second engaging part, and has a hollow part provided with ribs inside.

The above-mentioned molded body is molded by injection molding or cast molding. Thermoplastic resins such as polyvinyl chloride and polypropylene are usually used for injection molding. Cast molding is usually used for molding acrylic resin, polyester resin, etc. Moreover, this molded body
As shown in the figure, it is formed from a ribbed base part and a box-shaped lid part, and when the hinge part is bent, the top surface of the rib comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the lid part, forming a hollow part that supports the lid part.

The first engaging portion and the second engaging portion may be bonded together using an adhesive. This adhesive may be any adhesive as long as it can bond the first engaging part and the second engaging part, and urethane-based, polyvinyl chloride-based, acrylic-based, etc. are usually used. Moreover, it may be fixed by fusion or by mechanical engagement.

The shapes of the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are not particularly limited, but for example, one of them may be a band-shaped convex portion, and the other may be a groove that fits into the convex portion. A predetermined adhesive is usually injected into this groove, but a portion of this groove may be cut out.

[Effects of the Invention] In the molding of the present invention, the tips of the ribs protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the base come into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the lid to support the lid. This increases the mechanical strength of the lid. On the other hand, since the ribs are not formed on the inner peripheral surface of the lid, molding defects such as shrinkage do not occur on the design surface of the lid, and the appearance is good. Furthermore, the molding is lightweight because it has a hollow part.

In addition, when this molding is injection molded or cast molded to integrally mold both end portions together with the central portion in the longitudinal direction, the central portion of the molding base and Since there is no need to separately mold the end portions and join them together, this molding can be manufactured easily, and since there is no parting line between the center portion and the end portions, the appearance is extremely good.

FIG. 1 shows the molding of this example. This molding consists of a lid part 1 that constitutes the front surface of the molding, a base part 2 that constitutes the back surface of the molding, one side end of the lid part 1, and the base part 2 that constitutes the back surface of the molding.
A hinge part 3 that integrally connects one side end and can be bent inward; a set of first engaging parts 4 provided at the other end of the lid part 1 and the other end of the base part 2, respectively; It consists of a second engaging portion 5 and two ribs 10, 10 protruding from the inner circumferential surface side of the base portion 2. The first engaging portion 4 is a convex portion, and the second engaging portion 5 is a concave groove that fits into the convex portion. Note that this molding material is made of polyvinyl chloride. Further, the first engaging portion 4 and the second engaging portion 5 are bonded via an adhesive layer 7 using a urethane adhesive. Further, a shiny member 9 made of metal (stainless steel) is fixedly held on the surface of the lower right end portion of the lid portion 1. The tips of the ribs 10, 10 are the lid part 1.
The cover 1 is in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the cover 1 and supports the cover 1 from the inside.

In this molding, the lid part 1 has ribs 10, 10.
Since the lid portion 1 is supported by However, since the ribs 10, 10 do not protrude from the inner circumferential surface of the lid 1, the surface of the lid 1 has no molding defects such as shrinkage, and has a good appearance. Moreover, since this molding is manufactured by bending the hinge part 3 of the molded body 6 integrally molded by injection molding, there is no need to separately mold the end part.
Also, the appearance is good because there is no separation between the terminal part and the center part.
