Therefore, the fluorescent lamps in copying machines are always heated to a constant temperature by some kind of heater in order to always obtain a constant brightness. Heaters conventionally used for this purpose are shown in FIGS. 6 to 9.

It is attached directly above it with double-sided tape. In addition, the heater for a fluorescent lamp shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 has a case 5 made of polyester resin and having a curved surface almost the same as that of a fluorescent lamp, and a resistance element is placed in a glass case 5 cut into a predetermined shape. A silicone rubber heater 6 is attached, which is set between two thin sheets of silicone rubber reinforced with fibers and vulcanized, and is attached to the fluorescent lamp using several links 7. .

が求められている。(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Conventionally, a heater for a fluorescent lamp consisting of a cord-shaped heater 1 used for heating a fluorescent lamp 4 used in a copying machine has a mating surface with a thin and long fluorescent lamp 4. It requires skill to accurately adhere the lamp parallel to the fluorescent lamp 4 and at a predetermined position, and if the adhesive is defective, air pockets are likely to form between the lamp 4 and the fluorescent lamp 4, resulting in variations in the light output angle and heat conduction of the heater. This often results in variations in the amount of light. Furthermore, even if a heater with poor adhesion is attempted to be removed and reused, it is difficult to reuse it due to the destruction of the adhesive surface. Therefore, there is a need for measures to improve the workability of attaching the heater to the fluorescent lamp 4.

It is difficult to achieve this, and it takes a considerable amount of time to raise the temperature between the heaters to a certain level.

That is, the heater is not brought into close contact with the fluorescent lamp, causing variations in temperature distribution on the surface of the fluorescent lamp, and making the amount of light unstable. Furthermore, accessories such as the case 5 and the link 7 are required to attach the silicone rubber heater to the fluorescent lamp 4, resulting in a high product cost.

The heater for a fluorescent lamp of the present invention includes a heat-generating portion 9 made of a transparent polyester film 8 coated with a conductive paint, for example, and a transparent polyester film 8 that is not coated with a conductive paint from one longitudinal end to the other end of the polyester film 8. The portion 12 and the tape-shaped electrodes 10 provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction are laminated with a polyester film 8' to form a polyester film heater 11 , and the polyester film heater 11 is heated and molded into a cylindrical shape. This is a heater for fluorescent lights. By making the inner diameter of the fluorescent lamp heater of the present invention smaller than the outer diameter of the fluorescent lamp used in the vertical cross section, it can be closely attached to the fluorescent lamp.

The temperature distribution in each part is uniform, and there is no loosening, gap, or misalignment caused by energization, and since the thermal conductivity is good, it is possible to heat with a low capacity, and the rise time is also fast. .

Despite being as low as 20W, it quickly rose to 40°C in just 30 seconds, and measurements of the temperature at two locations on the transparent part showed a stable temperature distribution of 40±2°C. Furthermore, there were no problems such as loosening, gaps, or misalignment due to energization, and no generation of harmful gases.

Fluorescent lamps have a stable light intensity, have a faster rise time than cord heaters, and are economical as they can heat with a capacity approximately 10W lower than conventional products.
