ト穴及び接合部材のネジ穴を利用してボルトで緊
締するものである。この場合、上下の柱同士は溶
接で接合される。また、接合部材は上下いずれか
一方の柱の端部内面に挿着される場合及び上下双
方の柱の端部内面に掛かるように挿着される場合
がある。

達するためには接合部材を相当に肉厚に形成する
以外にはない。しかしながら、接合部材の板厚を
単に厚くしただけでは強度的に不安が大きい。特
に梁のフランジ位置に相当する位置には柱を横断
する何ものをも存在しないので梁からの大きな力
をスムースに柱に伝達し得るかが問題である。

る。梁4の各端には柱1,2の突合せ端部側面に
密着接合するようエンドプレート5が固着されて
いる。6は柱1,2の接合端部内面にそれぞれ挿
着される接合金物で、図例の場合、一体成形の鋳
鋼金物で作られている。なお、接合金物6は溶接
等で板材から一体物に作ることもできる。7は接
合金物6の内部に設けられたダイアフラム部であ
る。すなわち、ダイアフラム部7は接合金物6の
周囲の壁を相互に結合する横隔膜である。したが
つて、接合金物6はダイアフラム部7によつて縦
断面がH形となつている。8は梁4を柱1,2に
接合するためのボルトで、普通高力ボルトが使用
される。そして、梁4のエンドプレート5及び柱
1,2の接合端部にはボルト8を挿通するための
ボルト穴9,10が複数個設けられる。また、接
合金物6に柱1,2のボルト穴10に対応する位
置にてボルト8に螺合するネジ穴11が設けら
れ、かつ、これらのボルト穴10及びネジ穴11
はダイアフラム部7が梁4のフランジ4aの延長
上にくるように設けられる。

柱の接合端部内面に挿着された接合金物のダイア
フラム部が一致しているため、梁のフランジから
の大きな力がそのダイアフラム部を通じて柱の方
へスムースに伝達することができ、強度上安全で
ある。また、それによつて接合金物を薄肉に形成
することができ、材料の節減、軽量化に寄与す
る。さらにボルトのみで柱の接合端部に梁を効率
良く接合することができるなどの効果がある。
