[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention promotes the melting of snow that has fallen on steel towers under natural conditions, or allows the snow to fall in pieces, thereby creating a large snowpack under the tower. In order to prevent snow from falling down and causing unexpected damage to people's homes, various construction facilities, or agricultural crops under the tower, the snow is prevented from falling and is retained on the tower members, allowing it to melt as the outside temperature rises. This invention relates to a member for preventing falling snow that is attached to a steel tower member so that it can be dissolved into water or broken into small pieces.

[Conventional technology] In recent years, with the progress of regional development, residential areas, etc. have come closer to existing power transmission lines, and many new power transmission lines have been constructed due to increased demand for electricity, making it difficult for power transmission lines to connect to residential areas, agricultural land, etc. There are many cases where steel towers are located close together.

When snow falls on a steel tower, as shown in FIG. 15, snow 20 clings to the main, diagonal, and horizontal members of the steel tower member 10, and grows into large snow masses depending on the location. If such snowflakes fall from a high place on a steel tower, they may cause damage to passersby, structures, or agricultural crops below the tower.

Therefore, if a net is attached to the steel tower, a heater is attached to the steel tower members to melt the snow, or a protrusion that serves as a stopper is installed on the steel tower members, when the snow tries to slide down the diagonal members, the stopper will catch the snow. Attempts have been made to stop the snow from falling, to allow the snow to melt naturally as outside temperatures rise, or to allow the snow to fall in pieces, but none of these methods can be said to be sufficient. This is the reality.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] As shown in Fig. 15, according to the results of observing the falling state of snow capped on each steel tower member 10.10, it was found that snow capped on the main material, horizontal members, and diagonal members of the steel tower. Unless it is blown outward by the wind, most of the snow falls directly downwards, and in the middle of its fall, it collides with other steel tower members, breaking into pieces and reaching the ground in relatively many cases.

However, the snowflakes falling from the arm part, especially the arm part 10A at the lowest position shown in FIG. 15, have no object to collide with downward, and fall as large snowflakes that have left the arm.

The snow 20 initially covers the tower arm IOA as shown in FIG. 14(a). However, it rarely remains in that state, and due to the rise in outside temperature or the influence of wind, the snow 20 on the arm IOA gradually loses its balance, and as shown in Figure 14 (b), the balance of gravity from the tower arm IOA This causes the snowpack to shift and protrude,
Eventually, the protruding snow mass falls directly to the ground as shown in Figure (C).

If this type of snowfall falls while the snow is capped and the density of the snow is still sparse, the snowpack will form a single solution during its fall and become flaky by the time it reaches the ground. However, as shown in Figure 14 (a), some of this new snow remains capped, and as the outside temperature rises, some of it melts and becomes a snowpack containing moisture. In many cases, snow falls due to the water film formed between the steel tower and the steel tower, and in such cases, the above-mentioned solution is not solved and the snow falls as it is. If it does not fall while still containing moisture and freezes at night, it becomes a so-called frozen snow mass, and if such frozen snow mass falls from the tower arm 10 when the weather improves the next day, it may cause serious damage. There is a risk of giving.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, it is an object of the present invention to allow snow to move easily on the steel tower members, and to allow the snow to move directly onto the steel tower members without forming an overhanging snow mass as shown in FIG. 14(b). A falling snow prevention member for a steel tower, which can be attached to a steel tower member so that the capping continues, melts as the outside temperature rises, becomes melt water, drips and disappears, or breaks into pieces, and can configure the steel tower itself to prevent snow damage. This is what we are trying to provide.

[Function] If a planar body in which a large number of recesses are formed in the longitudinal direction is attached to the surface of a steel tower member with an adhesive or the like, where there is a high risk of snow flakes falling, the concave portions can be formed on the planar body The large number of recessed portions actively prevent the movement of snow, making it possible to prevent the formation of overhanging snowpack as shown in FIG. 14(b) above.

Regarding the length L1 width W1 depth H of the recess 2 formed here, etc., the area where the steel tower to which this snow fall prevention member is attached is constructed, the snow quality determined by the area, the normal amount of snowfall, the inclination angle of the steel tower member However, considering the area where snowfall occurs, such as the Kanto region, which is the target of this invention, the snow cap height is at most about 50 cm, and the depth H can be determined by experiment. It is possible to achieve a sufficient effect with about 10 to 15 temples.

Regarding the length, it is necessary to consider the creep length of the snowpack on the arm when snow falls (about 500 m).
Taking this into consideration, it is considered necessary to set the width to 500 m or less, and to set the lower limit to the same extent as the above-mentioned width W.

When the outside temperature rises and part of the snow melts into water, such a drainage slit 4 allows the melted water to flow down through the drainage slit 4 and be removed as water droplets, especially as described above. This helps prevent the formation of frozen snowpack at night.

FIG. 5 shows yet another embodiment, and FIG. 6 is a sectional view taken along line CC in FIG. As can be seen from FIG. 6, the recess 2 is a through-hole, and a drain hole 4- is formed to communicate with the through-hole, so that water from melted snow flows down from the drain hole 4' as described above. This is intended to prevent snow from being removed and forming a hydrated snowpack.

As mentioned above, the material for the snowfall prevention member for the steel tower constructed as above must be an appropriate material that is easy to process, such as plastic or rubber, and has weather resistance for many years. Needless to say, there is no particular limitation as long as it satisfies these conditions and can be easily attached and fixed to the steel tower parts.

[Effect of the invention] As described above, if a snow damage prevention type steel tower is constructed by attaching the snow fall prevention member according to the present invention to a steel tower member, the concave portion of the attached member actively prevents the movement of snow, and the snow fall prevention member according to the present invention is attached to a steel tower member. Since it is possible to maintain the state in which the snow is on the ground, there is no risk that the snowpack will slip and lose its balance due to creep and fall.If a drainage hole is provided in the concave part, the moisture generated by the melting of the snow will be drained into water droplets. As a result, it can be discharged dripping outside the steel tower member, and it is also possible to prevent the formation of highly dangerous frozen snow masses in the event of a fall.
