2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when carrying out construction work around the outside of buildings such as buildings or repairing existing structures, scaffolding has been erected around the structures. This scaffolding is provided with scaffolding members having a suitable width and a flat top surface for convenience for people to work or walk on.

In the past, scaffolding was assembled using logs of appropriate diameter, and wooden boards of appropriate thickness and width were passed over the scaffolding to make scaffolding boards, but due to the soaring price of lumber due to resource shortages and the cumbersome method of assembling scaffolding, the number of man-hours has decreased. This practice gradually became obsolete because it required a lot of work and set up costs were high. Scaffolding made of iron pipes has been developed as an alternative, and is widely used because it is easy to assemble and has high strength as a scaffold. In addition, as scaffolding members, steel members have been developed that have a structure that is easy to attach to the above-mentioned scaffolds.

However, these iron scaffolding members are heavy and difficult to handle, and the strength of the scaffolding itself must be correspondingly high.In addition, it is slippery and even more slippery when wet, making it undesirable from a security standpoint. There are drawbacks.

On the other hand, thinned wood produced during tree planting and felling is rarely used as lumber because its diameter is small, and most of it is abandoned. In an age when wood resources are scarce, it is important to avoid wasting valuable resources, but it is difficult to find a use for them, and everyone involved is currently struggling.

The present invention was developed in order to solve these problems, and aims to provide scaffolding boards made from thinned wood that is relatively light in weight, does not slip even when wet, is easy to obtain, and is inexpensive. It is something to do.

1 and 2 showing one embodiment of the present invention will be described below. After cutting a log 1 made of thinned wood into two in the longitudinal direction through the wood core, the center plane 2 is cut at both ends of the cut center plane 2 in the diametrical direction.
The outer circumferential arc portion connected to both diametrical ends of the center surface 2 is cut in the longitudinal direction so as to form both slopes 3, 3' forming a predetermined angle α with the center surface 2, and a predetermined gap t (thickness an outer circumferential arc facing the central surface 2 so as to form a parallel upper surface 4 separated by a distance of Two members 5 having a ladder-shaped cross section are manufactured by cutting the portion in the longitudinal direction. Next, the slope 3' of one member 5 and the other member 5
The thick rod 7 was fitted into the thick rod hole 6 previously provided on both the contacting slopes 3 and 3', and an adhesive 8 was applied between the contacting slopes 3 and 3'. Thereafter, both members 5, 5 are pressed and fixed from both left and right ends to form a flat scaffold board 9.

In other words, the thick rods 7 have a diameter of 5 to 10 mm, and the required strength of the scaffolding board 9 varies depending on the thickness t and length of the member 5 used. Use by driving into both sides 3 and 3'.

In this case, the members 5 making up the scaffolding board 9 are
It is made from thinned wood, and because it is split in two through the core, thinned wood with a smaller diameter can also be used, making it easy to obtain raw materials and at a low price even in times when wood resources are scarce. Furthermore, since the bonding surfaces of the members 5 form slopes 3 and 3', the bonding area is expanded even if the thickness is the same, and the bonding strength of the members 5 is increased. In addition, the wood grains of the members 5 are in opposite directions, and the contacting slopes 3 and 3' are connected by a thick rod 7, so even if the scaffolding board is used for many years in a harsh environment outdoors, it will not work. 9. This completely prevents distortions such as bending and warping. In addition, since a circumferential portion 10 of an appropriate width is left in the vicinity of the intersection of both slopes 3, 3' and the top surface, the rate of waste of thinned wood is reduced and the effective use of wood, which is a limited resource, is increased. ing. Also, both members 5, 5
Both slopes 3 and 3' are bonded together by pressure welding from both left and right ends, but when pressure welding normally occurs, the contact surfaces swell up and cannot be bonded, so pressure must be applied from above and below as well, which requires large bonding equipment. Although it requires a lot of processing man-hours, in the case of the present invention, both slopes 3, 3' where the two members 5, 5 contact are connected by a thick rod 7, so there is no need to apply pressure from above and below, and the bonding equipment is simple. This contributes to cost reduction as it requires less processing time. Furthermore, when the scaffolding board 9 is used with the side with the circumferential part 10 facing upward, the circumferential part 1
0 improves water drainage on the top surface and also serves as a non-slip surface, so it is extremely safe and has excellent safety characteristics.

FIG. 3 showing another embodiment of the present invention will be described below. First, in the same way as in the case of the first embodiment (Fig. 1), a log made of thinned wood is cut into two halves through the wood core, and both slopes 3, 3' having a predetermined angle α with the central plane 2, and a predetermined angle α are formed. A large number of members 5 1 , 5 2 , 5 3 , 5 4 . . . having a ladder-shaped cross section and having a thickness t are manufactured. Next, in the same manner as the manufacturing method of the scaffolding member 9,
The members 5 1 , 5 2 , 5 3 , 5 4 are aligned so that the slope 3 of the member 5 2 is aligned with the slope 3 ′ of the member 5 1 , and the slope 3 of the member 5 3 is aligned with the slope 3 ′ of the member 5 2 . While arranging them horizontally, thick rods 7 1 , 7 2 , and 7 3 are fitted into the thick rod holes 6 previously provided on the respective contacting slopes 3 and 3', and further between both contacting slopes 3 and 3'. After applying the adhesive 8, the members 5 1 , 5 2 , 5 3 , and 5 4 are pressed and fixed to form a flat scaffolding board 9'.
