In the connecting hood of this type, the functional member that causes the movable side hood structure to extend forward is as follows:
Conventionally, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 64-36561, an organic elastic material such as rubber, sponge or urethane foam has been used, and this constitutes the main body of the canopy. In addition, as a method for preventing the movable side hood structure from drooping without using such an organic elastic material, the movable side hood structure is generally attached to a hood suspension rod or hood suspension spring installed between the gable surfaces of the vehicle body. It is held suspended.

There are problems that require effort. Furthermore, in the case of the above-mentioned hood suspension rods and hood suspension springs, they are generally installed so as to be exposed to the outside of the hood, and as a result, the appearance is not necessarily sleek. In recent years, there has been a trend for vehicles to have a sleek overall appearance, so the appearance of the top is also required to be smart, and the use of the above-mentioned top suspension rods and the like has become a problem.

It is divided into a movable hood metal frame 9 consisting of outer walls 9b, 9c and a front wall 9a, and the fixed hood metal frame 6 is fixed to the gable side of the vehicle body, and the movable hood metal frame 9 is attached to the fixed hood metal frame 6.

Of the movable hood frame 9, the inner wall 9b located on the crossover passage side overlaps the other inner wall 6a at a predetermined distance from the inner wall on the passage side, and the inner wall 9b of the movable hood frame 9 is fixed. A sliding member is located on one of the inner walls 6a of 6 and holds the movable hood metal frame 9 so that it can move in the axial direction of the passage 7, and also prevents lateral displacement from left and right and regulates vertical movement. 10 are provided at the top, bottom, right and left of the passageway 7, and the outer wall 9c of the movable canopy frame 9 and the fixed canopy frame 6 are provided.
An outer coating 11 is installed between the outer walls 6b to cover the upper, lower, left and right outer surfaces thereof, and the front wall 9 of the movable canopy frame 9 is
A metal pressing member 12 is installed between the inner walls 6a, 9b and the outer walls 6b, 9c and presses the front wall 9a of the movable hood metal frame 9 forward. It is characterized by this.

Further, when the vehicle body distance on one side decreases when the vehicle body passes through a curved track, as shown on the left side of FIG. 12 and is pushed and moved toward the vehicle body. When the distance between the vehicle bodies increases from this reduced state to the normal state, both movable hood metal frames 9, 9 move forward while being kept in contact with each other by the coil springs 12, which are metal pressing members, and the outer cover 11 also follows and returns to normal. Even during this extension, the movable hood frame 9 is smoothly moved by the rollers 10, which are sliding members. This kind of telescoping action is caused by the movement of the car body.
This is done not only on the left and right sides of the hood, but also on the top and bottom, so the hood expands and contracts to follow any movement of the vehicle body. Moreover, since the rollers 10, which are sliding members, are provided on the upper, lower, right, and left sides, the movable hood frame 9 is held with respect to the fixed hood frame 6 without lateral displacement or drooping.

0 comes into contact with the upper surface of the inner wall 6a of the lower fixed hood frame 6 to support the weight of the movable hood frame 9 to prevent it from drooping. The movable hood metal frame 9 comes into contact with the lower surface of the inner wall 6a to restrict vertical movement of the movable hood metal frame 9 against pitching that occurs while the vehicle is running. Further, the roller 10 is fixed so that it can be removed if necessary. Further, the rotating shaft portion of the roller 10 is supported by a bearing or a synthetic resin member that can be oil-free. A roller receiving member 13 made of a highly wear-resistant elastic member is removably fixed to the inner wall 6a of the fixed hood frame 6 on the surface of the inner wall 6a that the roller 10 comes into contact with with a fixture 14 in the moving direction of the roller 10. The roller 10 is configured to roll on the inner wall 6a of the fixed hood frame 6 with low or no noise. The outer coating 11 is made of an elastic material such as a rubber molded product or a rubber sheet that has high waterproof and soundproof effects and can be expanded and contracted. The front end is fixed to the outer wall 9c of the movable canopy frame 9 by means of fixtures 16 such as screws, and each end is hermetically sealed to provide waterproof and soundproof effects. Further, the outer coating 11 is formed in an endless shape so as to cover the upper, lower, left and right outer surfaces of the rectangular fixed hood metal frame 6 that surrounds the upper, lower, left and right sides of the crossing passageway 7. The coil spring 12, which is a pressing member made of metal, is the second coil spring 12.
As shown in the figure, there are four pieces, and the rear end is
It is supported by a spring receiving plate 6f fixed to the fixed hood frame 6, and its front end abuts the inner surface of the front wall 9a of the movable hood frame 9 via the seat plate 12a.
The end portion may be attached in a removable manner, or may be simply supported by a guide to prevent it from shifting significantly. Reference numeral 17 denotes a sliding member fixed over the entire front and outer surface of the front wall 9a of the movable hood metal frame 9, that is, the mutually pressing surfaces of the movable hood metal frames 9, 9 that press against each other and join together. It is made of a synthetic resin material that has good abrasion resistance and produces low or no noise when sliding.

を示す。 18 is a protective film for protecting the safety of passengers located on the aisle side, and is attached to the inner mounting boards 6c, 6 of the respective fixed hood metal frames 6, 6 in the connected vehicle bodies 1, 2.
The fixed hood metal frames 6, 6 and the movable hood metal frames 9, 9 are constructed so as to cover the entire side surface of the crossing passage 7 between the two sides. Furthermore, the end portions are wound around winding devices 19, 19 provided on the inner mounting boards 6a, 6a of both fixed hood metal frames 6, 6 by the action of a coil spring, etc., and when a predetermined tension is applied, the winding device It is pulled out from inside 19, 19, and when the tension becomes less than a predetermined tension, it is wound into winding devices 19, 19. Therefore, the protective film 18 follows the expansion and contraction, deflection, vertical movement, etc. between the fixed hood metal frame 6, the movable hood metal frame 9, and both movable hood metal frames 9, 9 without any problem, and maintains a constant tension at all times. This makes it possible to cover the inner surfaces of the respective metal frames 6, 6, 9, and 9 provided on both vehicle bodies and to ensure the safety of passengers. 20 indicates a gangplank.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, it is only necessary to use an organic material in a very small portion of the outer covering, so compared to the conventional case where an organic material is used in the main body of the hood, Problems with fire prevention will be reduced and safety will be improved. Furthermore, since the function to prevent the movable hood metal frame from drooping is built into the hood structure, the appearance of the hood is not impaired, and it can be adapted to improve the appearance of the vehicle body. Furthermore, it has the advantage of being able to fully demonstrate its function as a mutually pressing type vehicle connecting top while exhibiting the above-mentioned effects.
