For example, an antihalation layer is provided on the back side of the support, an antihalation layer is provided between the support and the photosensitive layer, an antihalation layer is provided between the photosensitive layers, or the emulsion layer is dyed. There is a method of using it as an irradiation prevention layer.

However, when these light-absorbing substances are applied in the photosensitive layer or in a layer adjacent to the photosensitive layer, they have adverse effects such as desensitization and increased fog on the photographic emulsion. That is, when an antihalation layer containing a dye is provided adjacent to a photosensitive layer, the dye diffuses into the photosensitive layer and absorbs even 1 of the light necessary for the photosensitive layer, causing desensitization. Alternatively, even if colloidal silver is used, there is no adverse effect such as increased fog on the adjacent photosensitive layer.

EX Orthoscreen HR-p was brought into close contact with both sides using a cassette, and X-ray sensitometry was performed. The exposure needle was adjusted by changing the distance between the X-ray tube and the cassette. After exposure, processing was carried out using an automatic processor using the developer and fixer described in Examples. Sensitivity was determined by photographic standard and specific sensitivity with 20 as ioo.

On the other hand, the green transmission density of the unprimed back dyed polyethylene terephthalate support was measured, and the net value obtained by subtracting this value was evaluated as the residual color density value.
