When measuring the level of railway tracks, especially when the level value is small, it is important to know which track is higher, the left or right.
In other words, it is difficult to determine which trajectory is on the upward side. Conventional level measuring instruments that digitally display this level have been designed to display + or - along with numbers. However, when reading, it was often the case that the measurement bar was mistaken for left or right, resulting in incorrect level measurements. In addition, orbital level measurements are often carried out in bad weather or at night, but when displaying the level on a measurement bar placed on the orbit, there is an inconvenience that the display is difficult to see.

The present invention was developed in view of these circumstances, and it is possible to accurately determine whether the trajectory is on the upward or downward side, and prevent misunderstandings when measuring the level.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a level measuring device that can display the level easily.

4 is constructed as shown in FIG. In this figure, 26 is a low-pass filter that removes noise consisting of high frequency components contained in the analog voltage signal output from the level gauge 18. A differential amplifier 28 amplifies the difference between the output voltage of the low-pass filter 26 and the output voltage of the zero adjustment variable resistor 30.

32 is an A/D converter, and the analog voltage signal corresponding to the level output by the differential amplifier 28 is converted into a BCD code in this A/D converter 32. 34 is a decoder, which converts this BCD code into a decimal number. 36 is a display device,
For example, it consists of numbers made up of 7 segments using LEDs. The display 36 digitally displays the level based on the output of the decoder 34.

The polarity of the output voltage of the differential amplifier 28 is inverted depending on whether the output voltage of the level gauge 18 is higher than or lower than the output voltage of the variable resistor 30. A/D converter 3
2 determines this polarity and outputs a signal a indicating the polarity. Reference numeral 38 denotes a rising side discrimination circuit which discriminates the polarity of the output signal a of the A/D converter 32 and selectively lights up one of the indicator lights 22a, 22b on the rising side track side. This discrimination circuit 38 is

While holding the 0 horizontally, press the switch 42,
Adjust the variable resistor 3 so that the display on the display 36 becomes zero.

As described above, the present invention is configured such that a pair of indicator lights are provided on the inspection bar, and a rising side discriminating circuit is used to identify the rising side trajectory and light one of the indicator lights. It can be determined reliably and easily, and misunderstandings during level measurement can be reliably prevented.
Furthermore, since the display box is made separate from the test bar, the display can be checked by bringing only the display box close to the face, making it easier to see the level display. Furthermore, if the display box is separated like this, its orientation can change freely with respect to the inspection bar, so even if, for example, "up to the right" is displayed, it is easy to mistake which trajectory is the right one. According to the invention, it can be confirmed by lighting up the indicator light, so there is no chance of making a mistake.
