〔産業上の利用分野〕
この発明は、内燃機関におけるシリンダヘツド
等のガスケツトの水・油等の流量を容易に調節出
来るようになした金属積層形ガスケツトに関す

従来、内燃機関のシリンダヘツド等のガスケツ
トにおいて、例えばシリンダヘツドとシリンダブ
ロツクとを流れる冷却水や潤滑油をシールする目
的で、第3図のごとく、ゴム製のシールリング7
の中間に金属環9を一体に取付け、該金属環9の
外周部を金属積層形ガスケツトの構成部材の中心
板材10の切欠き部に挿入し、かつ上下の板材1
1で挾着される。従つて、水・油孔8はシールリ
ング7の大きさによつて限定され、シリンダブロ
ツク等の水・油流体通路の大きさより大となる。
従つて、水や油の流量を調節するためには流体通
路の大小によつて行なわなければならない。この
ことは他のシール方法でも同じである。このため
小さい径のものはシリンダヘツドなどの加工が面
倒であるばかりでなく寸法精度も要求され、軽量
化に逆行すると共に、コストの上昇を招くなどの
欠点があつた。

本考案を図面に基づいて説明すると、第1図の
ごとく、メタルプレートを数枚重ね合せて構成し
た金属積層形ガスケツトAにおいて、該金属積層
形ガスケツトAに水・油孔を設けるに、該水・油
孔部分で、ガスケツト構成部材の中心板材4が他
の上下の板材5よりも穴径を小さくして形成した
突出部1を設け、該突出部1の厚み方向にガスケ
ツト厚さより厚みをもつて突出する弾性体製の凸
条2を型成すると共に、前記弾性体を該凸条2か
ら延出せしめ突出部1の縁部を被覆し、その内径
側を水・油等の流量調節をなす穴3として、他の
部分にボア12等を設けて形成したことを特徴と
した金属積層形ガスケツトAである。

ールは突出部1に設けたガスケツトの厚み方向
に、ガスケツト厚より突出するゴム等の弾性体の
凸条2によつて行なわれる。

ツトに水・油孔を設けるに、該水・油孔部分で、
ガスケツト構成部材の中心板材が他の板材よりも
径を小さくした突出部を形成し、該突出部の厚み
方向にガスケツト厚さより厚みをもつて突出する
弾性体製の凸条を型成すると共に、前記弾性体を
該凸条から延出せしめ突出部を被覆してその内径
側に水・油等の流量調節をなす穴を設けたことを
