いる。 However, Ti or Ti-based alloys are very easily oxidized, difficult to braze, and are also very active, so they react with dies and are susceptible to seizure, making them difficult to plastically work. Additionally, since the surface of Ti is covered with a strong oxide film, it is difficult to perform surface treatments, especially plating treatments, which are essential for decorative materials. For this reason, the application of Ti or Ti-based alloys alone to decorative materials is limited to special fields.

A method has been adopted in which a Ti-based composite material 3 is formed by coating the outer sheath metal 2 of noble metal such as alloy, Ni-Cr alloy, Cu-Ni alloy, etc. However, the core material of Ti or Ti-based alloy 1 is
There was a drawback that a layer 4 of a brittle intermetallic compound was easily formed with the outer sheath metal 2, and the outer sheath metal 2 and the core material 1 were separated from this layer 4.

For example, when plate materials 5 made by press-forming the Ti-based composite material 3 as shown in FIG. Since the intermetallic compound layer 4 grows and is continuous, it has the disadvantage that it is more likely to peel off.

The object of the present invention is to provide a decorative Ti-based composite material that is difficult to peel off even when intermetallic compounds are formed.

ものである。(Structure of the Invention) The decorative Ti-based composite material of the present invention is a Ti-based composite material in which Ti or Ti-based alloy accounts for 50 to 90% by volume, and the outer surface is made of a noble metal alloy, a Ni-Cr alloy, Cu
- It is characterized by being covered with either a Ni alloy and having a core of Ti or a Ti-based alloy dispersed in the form of fibers.

為、芯材と外被金属は剥離することが無い。 In this way, the decorative Ti-based composite material of the present invention
Since the core material Ti or Ti-based alloy is dispersed in the form of fibers, even if a layer of intermetallic compound is formed between the core material and the outer metal during brazing, it will be discontinuous. And the outer sheath metal will not peel off.

易くなるからである。 The reason for limiting the volume ratio of Ti or Ti-based alloy to 50 to 90% in the decorative Ti-based composite material of the present invention is that less than 50% is not sufficient to achieve lightweight and high spring properties; This is because if it exceeds the range, the Ti or Ti-based alloy will not be reliably dispersed in the form of fibers, and as a result, a continuous portion of the intermetallic compound layer will be formed, making it easy for the core material and the sheath metal to separate.

To explain the Ti-based composite material, as shown in FIG. 3, a Ti-based composite material 3 with a wire diameter of 3 mm, in which the core material 1 is pure Ti and the outer sheath metal 2 is Ni-Cr 10 wt%, was formed by extrusion and drawing. At this time, the volume ratio of Ti and Ni-Cr10wt% was set to 4:1. This wire was press-formed into a plate material with a thickness of 1.5 mm, and after brazing the plate materials 5 together with a brazing material 6 as shown in Fig. 4, a peel test of the plate material 5 was performed, and the average weight was 8 kg/ Peeling occurred from the joint surface between the core material 1 and the outer sheath metal 2 at a strength of mm 2 .

い。 Next, to explain the decorative Ti-based composite material of the example, Ti fine particles with a diameter of 2 mm and a length of 2 mm are mixed with Ni-Cr 10 wt% alloy powder with an average particle size of 10 μ, and this is made into Ni-Cr 10 wt% capsules. Filled, then compressed, sintered, extruded, and drawn to create a wire with a diameter of 3 mm.
Made of Ti-based composite material. At this time, Ti and Ni−Cr10wt
% by volume was 4:1. The cross section of this line is as shown in Figure 1a and b, where the Ti core material 1' is Ni-
It was dispersed in the form of fibers in the outer sheath metal 2' containing 10 wt% Cr. This wire 3' was press-formed to form a plate with a thickness of 1.5 mm, and after brazing the plates 5' together with a brazing filler metal 6 as shown in Fig. 2, a peel test of the plate 5' was performed. , peeling occurred from the brazing filler metal 6 at an average strength of 25 kg/mm 2 , but did not peel from the joint surface between the core material 1' and the outer sheath metal 2'. This is simply because the intermetallic compound layer 4' formed between the core material 1' and the outer sheath metal 2' is discontinuous.

優れた効果がある。(Effect of the invention) As can be seen from the above explanation, the decorative Ti-based composite material of the present invention has a volume ratio of 50 to 90% of Ti or Ti-based alloy.
%, it is lightweight and has high spring properties, and the core material, Ti or Ti-based alloy, is dispersed in the form of fibers and covered with an outer covering metal such as a precious metal alloy, so the appearance is similar to that of a high-grade decorative material. Moreover, even if an intermetallic compound is generated between the core material and the outer sheath metal during heat treatment such as annealing or brazing, it becomes discontinuous, so the core material and the outer sheath metal become discontinuous. It does not peel off and has excellent effects such as making it possible to create ornaments with complex shapes.
