Conventionally, the construction method for paving roads with thermoplastic granular materials such as asphalt, coal tar, and pitch has been to heat the paving granular materials in advance to a melted and softened state, and then remove them onto the road surface in layers. After that, the method of solidifying under pressure is widely used, but this construction method not only requires a large amount of thermal energy for heat treatment of paving granular materials, but also causes a large loss of thermal energy, and is extremely inefficient. bad.

When irradiating microwaves, the height position of the microwave irradiator 4 from the ground is adjusted in advance by operating the handle 16, and the height from the ground is kept as low as possible, and the radio wave shielding plate 4c is ,4d
This prevents microwaves from leaking into free space. In addition, the three stubs of the three-stub tuner 20 are adjusted to achieve impedance matching on the receiving end side and the sending end side, and the deflection of the radio wave output measuring meter 31 on the meter panel 30 of the power monitor 21 is maximized. Also, the vibration of the radio wave reflected power measuring meter 32 is minimized. At this time, the isolator 22 absorbs the reflected power by heating the water supplied to it, and as a result, the microwave oscillator 2
The magnetron oscillation tube in No. 3 is oscillated under a constant load to protect the oscillation tube.

When the asphalt granules are irradiated with microwaves from the irradiator 4 as described above, the asphalt granules are uniformly heated from the inside in a short time due to the internal dielectric heating effect of the microwaves, melting and softening. Then cover with aggregate A such as crushed stone or cracked stone. This melt-softening method makes it possible to prevent deterioration of materials with poor thermal conductivity caused by oxidation effects over a long period of time during flame heating, which is the case with conventional materials. The melted and softened asphalt granular layer is pressed by the steel frame rollers 2 as the traveling vehicle body 1 advances, and is cooled by water withdrawn from the water withdrawal pipe 37 in front of the steel frame rollers, and becomes flat. Solidified and formed on the surface.

As described above, according to the present invention, there is no need to heat-treat the asphalt granules to be removed on crushed stone in advance during road paving construction, so that the troublesome heating work can be completely eliminated. Not only can the asphalt granules be irradiated with microwaves, but the asphalt granules are heated by the internal heating effect on the dielectric material, and the impedance of the irradiated surface such as a road that is the target of the oscillator's irradiation is reduced. Since it is equipped with a matching means, the height of the microwave irradiation with respect to the irradiation surface can be adjusted appropriately and the maximum power can be selectively applied to the irradiation surface by impedance matching each time, so uniform heating and melting can be achieved in a short time. As it has the advantage of being able to process asphalt, it can significantly reduce heating energy, and it synergistically works with the magnetron's high energy oscillation efficiency, resulting in significantly greater energy efficiency than conventional asphalt pavement construction methods. It is possible to improve the process, reduce time, and improve work efficiency at the same time.

Furthermore, this invention has the advantage that it can also be applied to the improvement and repair of road pavement. In other words, with conventional concrete pavement alone, when the concrete surface is irradiated with microwaves, the crystallized water in the concrete heats up to approximately 800℃.
This causes a strong cleavage action due to heating separation, which forms cleavage planes parallel to the irradiated surface, and the cleavage planes become disordered, making it impossible to obtain a flat finished surface, or due to explosive separation of the cleavage planes. The heating cleavage effect of microwave irradiation on concrete surfaces is particularly noticeable on ancient layers that have been stably cured for a long period of time. However, in the present invention, when microwaves are irradiated onto a thermoplastic granular material such as asphalt, coal tar, and/or pitch on concrete crushed stone or mineral crushed stone, the thermoplastic granular material has an internal dielectric heating effect of the concrete crushed stone or mineral crushed stone. It is melted and softened at low temperatures to cover crushed concrete stone or crushed mineral stone, and is then solidified, which can prevent the crystallization water in the concrete from heating and separating and causing the cleavage effect.
In addition, in the case of raised repair, the difference in melting temperature between conventional paving materials and raised repair materials is eliminated, so the effect of flat, uneven pavement can be expected to be even greater, and it can greatly contribute to the advancement and improvement of road pavement. .
