[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] This invention is applicable to an inflatable life raft that is equipped with a boarding part to facilitate boarding from the sea surface in the event of a disaster, for example. The present invention relates to a life raft that is equipped with means to prevent the risk of gas leakage from the air chamber of the main body due to this.

By the way, the boarding section described in the above-mentioned Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 13354/1983 is composed of an air chamber in the main body of the liferaft and an air chamber constituting the boarding section, which will be explained in detail later. An example is shown. In this case, two gas cylinders are required to inflate each air chamber, which is disadvantageous in terms of weight and increases cost.

Therefore, this invention relates to an improvement in the case where the air chamber of the main body of the liferaft and the air chamber of the boarding part are communicated with each other. Hereinafter, a conventional example will be explained based on the drawings. In the figure, 1 is the inflatable liferaft body, 2
is a main body air chamber which is expanded by being filled with gas from a filling device (not shown) such as compressed gas, and is generally composed of two upper and lower independent air chambers 2a and 2b. 3 is a floor cloth attached to the lower part of the lower air chamber 2b;
Reference numeral 4 denotes an awning attached to the upper part of the upper air chamber 2a, and the awning is maintained in the shape of a roof by a plurality of pillars 5 attached in communication with the upper part of the upper air chamber 2a. 6 is an inflatable boarding section attached to the lower air chamber 2b side;
A U-shaped riding air chamber is formed by the arm air chambers 7 on both sides and the support air chambers 8 connecting them, and the arm air chambers 7 and the support air chambers 8 are in communication. Note that a floor cloth 9 is stretched on the inside of the U-shape. In addition, at the joint between the arm air chamber 7 and the lower air chamber 2b, each air chamber becomes independent as described above, and the end of the arm air chamber 7 is simply glued to the side surface of the lower air chamber 2b. Although there are some configurations, the joint that forms the basis of this invention has a communication port 10 on either one or both sides of the arm air chamber 7, and is configured so that each air chamber communicates with each other. .

Next, the operation of the above-mentioned life raft will be explained. In the event of a rescue, a liferaft dropped from a ship inflates the upper and lower body air chambers 2 and struts 5 by operating a filling device (not shown), and also inflates the arm air chambers 7 and support air chambers that are continuous with the lower air chamber 2b. The chamber 8 is expanded to constitute a boarding device. In other words, the life raft body 1
and the boarding part 6 are expanded and formed integrally. Thus, the person in distress can easily transfer to the life raft using the boarding section 6.

As described above, an inflatable life raft with a boarding section is functionally very effective in that it allows a person in distress to board easily, but due to the nature of the boarding section, it protrudes from the air chamber of the main body of the liferaft. There is a slight possibility of damage such as entanglement with ropes, etc. during inflation, contact with floating objects, or abrasion while alongside the vessel, and gas leakage during inflation may occur and boarding may occur. There was a problem in that not only the liferaft but also the liferaft itself would lose its buoyancy, which could reduce its reliability as a lifesaving device.

This idea was made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and even if a gas leak occurs in the arm air chamber 7 and the support air chamber 8 that make up the boarding device, the liferaft main body 2 The object of the present invention is to provide a liferaft having a boarding part that prevents the gas from escaping together with the liferaft and maintains buoyancy, and does not reduce its reliability as a lifesaving device.

The inflatable boarding device according to this invention is provided with a shutoff valve in the communication section between the liferaft main body air chamber 2 and the arm air chamber 7 of the boarding device, so that in the unlikely event that each air chamber of the boarding device is damaged,
In order to prevent gas from escaping from the main body of the liferaft even if gas leaks, gas flows from the air chamber of the main body to the air chamber of the boarding area, but in such a way as to create a high pressure difference with respect to the boarding area. A shutoff valve is provided in the communication section.

[Function] The shutoff valve provided in the communication section between the main body air chamber 2 and the arm air chamber 7 of the boarding section 6 in this invention always creates a high pressure difference between the main body air chamber and the boarding device.
Even in the worst case scenario, where an abnormality occurs in the boarding device and gas escapes, causing it to no longer function as a boarding device, the pressure in the air chamber of the main body will be the same as the pressure difference created by this valve. It can maintain its basic function as a life preserver.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Figures 1a and 1b are a plan view a and a partially sectional side view showing the inflatable liferaft of this invention. In the figure, for 1 to 10, the second to third
The details have been omitted since the explanation has been made using the figures. 11 is the lower air chamber 2 of the main body air chamber of the life raft, which is the gist of this invention.
This is a shutoff valve provided at the communication port 10 between the air conditioner b and the arm air chamber 7 of the boarding section. This shutoff valve 11 allows the gas sucked into the air chamber 2 of the main body by the filling device to flow from the air chamber 2 of the main body to the air chambers 7 and 8 forming the boarding area, but causes a pressure difference between them. It operates to close when the set pressure is reached. In other words, even if a life raft with a fully inflated boarding device were to leak due to damage to the air chamber in the boarding section, all of the gas in the body's air chamber 2 would not escape. It is.

Next, the specific function of the shutoff valve 11 will be explained together with the usage situation of the liferaft. During normal times, liferafts are folded into a small size, stored in a storage box such as a container, and attached to the side of the ship.
When dropped in the event of a disaster, the valve of the attached gas filling device (not shown) is opened by its own weight or automatic buoyancy, filling the air chamber 2 of the main body with air and starting to inflate. As the charging progresses, the pressure in the air chamber of the main body decreases to the stop valve 11.
When a predetermined pressure (for example, 50 mmHg) is reached, the shutoff valve 11 opens, and the gas flows into the air chamber 7, which constitutes the boarding section 6.
8 and inflates the boarding section 6 to function as a boarding section. As the filling progresses further, the pressure in the air chamber of the main body is normally maintained at around 150 mmHg. At this time, the pressure in the passenger compartment air chambers 7 and 8 is controlled to be lower than the pressure in the main body air chamber 2 (100 mmHg in this example). However, this is actually more convenient because the air chambers 7 and 8 for boarding can be easily deformed, making it easier to board the vehicle. It goes without saying that the set pressure of the shutoff valve 11 can be changed arbitrarily.

If gas leaks from the damaged part of the entry section 6 due to the above-mentioned causes during use, the gas in the main body air chamber 2 will also flow out through the shutoff valve 11.
Since this creates a high pressure difference with respect to the pressure in the passenger compartment air chamber, the shutoff valve 11 closes when the pressure in the passenger compartment air chamber reaches zero, and the air from the liferaft main body air chamber 2 is closed. The entire amount of gas is prevented from flowing out, and the predetermined pressure (50 mmHg) set by the shutoff valve 11 is maintained.
This maintains the basic function of carrying passengers and maintaining buoyancy.

As explained above, in an inflatable liferaft that is formed by flowing gas from the main body air chamber side to the boarding air chamber side, the boarding air chamber is The difference between the pressure in the main air chamber and the pressure in the main air chamber can be arbitrarily set, and a shutoff valve is provided that closes when the set pressure is reached, making boarding easier and Even if gas leaks from the boarding air chamber, the shutoff valve will retain the gas necessary to maintain buoyancy in the main body air chamber. As a result, it is possible to provide an inflatable liferaft in which the ease of boarding of a victim can be ensured without reducing reliability, and the rescue performance and life extension are improved.
