Conventional tiling methods include wet methods such as applying base mortar to the wall and laying tiles on top of it before the mortar dries, stacking, pressing, mosaic tiling, and adhesive tiling. method, and dry method 1 in which a tile having a convex portion on the back side is inserted and fixed into a concave portion of a base material having a concave portion on the surface for fixing the tile.
There is a law.

ことを見出し本発明に到達した。(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) Therefore, the inventors of the present invention have solved the above-mentioned drawbacks. By setting the length relationship between the short side and the long side of a rectangular tile as a constant condition, simply forming grid-like recesses at regular intervals on the surface of the base material allows the tile to be oriented vertically or horizontally. The present invention was based on the discovery that various joint patterns can be beautifully formed on the surface of the base material because the joint patterns can be placed on the surface of the base material, and that the construction period on site can be shortened by manufacturing the joint patterns in advance in a factory. reached.

), as shown in Figure 1 (B), when the convex part (2) of the tile (1) is inserted into the concave part (5) of the base material (4), it overflows from the concave part (5). It is preferable to provide a recess (3) for receiving excess adhesive in order to achieve a beautiful finish. Moreover, by making the cross-sectional shape of the convex part (2) trapezoidal, it is possible to facilitate insertion and fixation into the concave part.

It is possible to use an appropriate selection from known materials such as an organic base material in which a waterproof layer, a mixture layer of cement and a foamed synthetic resin lightweight aggregate are formed on a wood plate-like substrate. As a specific example of these, a waterproof layer made of synthetic resin emulsion, synthetic rubber latex, etc. is formed on a wood-based plate-like substrate, and then a mixture layer made of cement, pulverized foamed polystyrene resin, etc. is formed. Examples include building materials (

It can be filled flush with the surface of 4). In this case, the adhesive is preferably colored in the same color as the base material. The adhesive can also be applied by rubbing it evenly with a spatula, trowel, etc., and thereby the amount of application can be easily made constant. Further, if necessary, after adhesion, the joint portion can be filled with a joint material to a desired depth. If the surface of the base material is painted with a joint color in advance, the finish will be beautiful even without filling with joint material.
