By holding it and moving it up and down repeatedly, the head of the through-hole bar is struck by the cap attached to the upper end of the handle pipe, and the impact (reaction) drives the through-hole bar into the ground to penetrate the hole. It's structured.

た。 When drilling a hole in a road surface, etc. using the boring bar configured as described above, the tip of the drilled through-hole bar may come into contact with or cut the high-voltage cable buried above ground. ,
Because high voltage current flows through the through-hole bar to the handle pipe side, electric shock accidents can occur, which is extremely dangerous.

However, when drilling a hole, the handle pipe must be moved up and down repeatedly with strong force, so if you are wearing rubber gloves, your grip will become weak and you will not be able to do the job properly. As the pipe is gripped and moved up and down, the insulating layer of rubber or plastic that covers it gradually slips down to the bottom end of the handle pipe, wrinkles or tears, and the insulating effect is no longer achieved. There was a problem in that the coated insulation was slippery and could not be completely gripped, which hindered drilling operations.

The area between 3 and 4 is the lower grip 1a, and the area between the protrusions 3 and 4 is the upper grip 1.
It has become b. Reference numeral 1t denotes an internal chamber of the handle pipe 1, the upper end of which is closed by a lid plug body 4a that hits the head of a through-hole bar described below, and the end opening 5 of the handle pipe 1 is equipped with a through-hole bar. A retaining fitting 6 is attached.

A double-sided adhesive tape wound spirally or at intervals on the circumferential surfaces of a and 1b, and 9 is this double-sided adhesive tape 8.
It shows an insulating layer made of rubber or plastic that is formed to cover the entire surface of the handle pipe 1 wrapped with. The illustrated insulating layer 9 is constructed using a heat-shrinkable tube with a thickness of approximately 1 to 2 mm. Therefore, if this is placed over the surface of the handle pipe 1 and heated, the shrinkage effect and the adhesive action of the double-sided adhesive tape 8 will combine to form a strong insulating layer 9 on the surface of the handle pipe 1. I can do it. Further, on the surface of this insulating layer 9, a spiral shape or irregularities 1S at regular intervals are formed due to the thickness of the double-sided adhesive tape 8 wrapped around the inner handle pipe 1, and this serves to prevent slipping during drilling work. .

When the upper grip 1b is grasped, the awl 7a at the lower end is positioned at the hole, and the handle pipe 1 is repeatedly and forcefully brought down, the impacting lid plug 4a will impact the head 7b of the through-hole bar 7. This impact causes the through-hole bar 7 to descend, making it possible to make a hole for a gas leak detector or water leak detector in a road surface or the like.

In addition, the insulating layer 9 that covers the entire handle pipe 1 including the above-mentioned convex portions 2, 3, and 4 protects the worker from electric shock when the through-hole bar 7 comes into contact with an underground cable during drilling work. As described above, according to the boring bar according to the present invention, the insulating layer coated on the handle pipe can protect the worker from electric shock. Since the adhesive tape is coated on the upper surface of the handle pipe wrapped with adhesive, the insulating layer is firmly adhered by the adhesive tape, so even if the handle pipe is repeatedly moved up and down, the insulating layer will not shift downward. There is no need to worry about it getting wrinkled or tearing, and it has a perfect electric shock prevention effect, making it possible to safely drill holes in road surfaces, etc., and the double-sided adhesive tape wrapped around the pipe surface is insulated. Since the surface of the layer has irregularities to prevent slipping, it has the advantage that drilling operations can be performed reliably and safely without the grip slipping, and it can be easily constructed and manufactured at low cost. Combined with this, its practical effects are extremely high.
