  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 入力画データを白、黒の２値データに変換する
    画像２値化回路において、 ２つの異なる閾値を用いて前記入力画データの
    白領域、黒領域または灰領域を判定する領域判定
    手段と、 前記領域判定手段の判定結果に基づき、前記入
    力画データの画素位置に対応して前記灰領域での
    白及び黒画素が配置された白または黒の２値デー
    タを生成して出力する出力手段とを、 備えたことを特徴とする画像２値化回路。
