Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively and certainly carry a carrying material such as medal by using a rotating shaft having a number of synthetic resin bristle spirally planted along the axial direction to form a spiral blade. CONSTITUTION:When medals are put into a carrying pipe from its starting end part while rotating a rotating shaft by a motor, the input medals are held by the clearance part of a spiral guide blade 25 and successively transferred forward. As the guide blade 25 is formed of a number of synthetic resin bristles, the feeding directional force is transmitted to the medals. Even if the medals are caught between the blade and the pipe inner wall by any cause, the rotation of the rotating shaft 9 is never stopped as the planted bristles forming the blade are deflected. Thus, a large quantity of medals 5 can continuously be carried.

[Prior Art] Slot machines for playing games called pachi-slot machines are widely used. Similar to pachinko machines, this type of slot machine is generally used in a state in which a plurality of slot machines (for example, 20 to 40 machines) are arranged side by side in sections called stripes arranged in a room.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The above-mentioned slot machine is designed so that when a player scores a score, a predetermined number of medals are displayed on a tray provided on the outside of the machine, depending on the score. In order to compensate for the lack of medals built into each machine, it is necessary to constantly supply each machine with spare medals. However, for example, when you reach the highest score state called "fever",
Since a large number of medals are quickly discharged, it is necessary to quickly replenish a large amount of medals to the machine in question using a replenishment system installed at each strip, but with conventional replenishment systems, this is not possible. It was difficult to provide sufficient supplies in such cases.

In other words, in conventional medal replenishment systems, a groove rail system in which the medals are conveyed while standing in a line, or a flat belt conveyor system in which the medals are placed on a flat belt and conveyed is used as the medal conveyance device. In addition to being complicated in terms of equipment and making construction and maintenance difficult, the groove rail method described above has a small conveyance capacity because the metal placed in the groove is moved in a single line, and when deformed medals enter the groove of the rail, There was a problem that it would get clogged and stop working. In addition, with the above-mentioned flat belt conveyor system, the belt elongates and shifts its position during operation, which is inconvenient and requires periodic adjustment, which can also cause cutting problems due to belt fraying. . Also,
When the medals being transported are branched and supplied to a large number of game machines arranged side by side, the medals may get caught between the belt and the door that partitions the branching path. Furthermore, since the medals bounce around on the belt, mechanical problems and a decrease in the amount of medals are likely to occur, and it is not possible to increase the speed of the belt beyond a certain level. For this reason, there was a limit to the amount of medals supplied.

[Operation] When metals are thrown into the pipe from the starting end of the conveying pipe while rotating the rotary shaft with a motor, the thrown medals are held in the gap between the spiral guide vanes and are sequentially transported forward. The guide vanes are made of a large number of bristles made of synthetic resin, so they transmit force in the feeding direction to the medals, and even if the medals get caught between the vanes and the inner wall of the pipe for some reason, the flocking that forms the vanes will not work. Since it flexes, the rotation of the rotating shaft does not stop, and a large amount of medals can be conveyed continuously.

As described above, the spiral blades 25 are attached to the rotating shaft 9 made of stainless steel of the conveying device 1 along the longitudinal direction. As shown in FIG. 2, the spiral blade 25 is made of synthetic resin bristles 27 with appropriate rigidity and elasticity. ... are flocked in a brush shape, and the tips of these flocks come into sliding contact with the inner surface of the pipe 7. As the material of the bristles 27, for example, nylon can be used. For example, the pipe 7 has an inner diameter of 70 mm, the spiral blade 25 has a diameter of 65 m+n, the spiral pitch is 40 am, and the hair 27 is used for transporting a disk-shaped medal with a diameter of 25III11.
Approximately 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter and 22 to 27 mm in length.
, it is preferable that the diameter of the rotating shaft 9 is 20 mm. In addition,
The base end of the rotating shaft 9 is connected to the motor 10, but the other end is a free end, and is supported at the center of the pipe 7 by a group of brush-shaped bristles. .

The lid 33 is supported by a base 34 attached to the outer periphery of the conveying pipe 7 via a hinge 35 so as to be rotatable up and down, and is connected via a link device 39 to a rotary solenoid 37 attached to a mounting plate 36 integrated with the base 34. ing. M33 can be opened and closed by rotating the rotary solenoid 37 forward and backward by a predetermined amount. When the lid 33 is closed, all the medals pass over it, but when it is opened, most of the medals passing through fall downward and are thrown into each game machine through the branch pipe 30.

When this conveyance device 1 is used, the rotary shaft 9 is rotated in a predetermined direction by the motor 10, and medals are inserted from the supply port provided at the starting end of the conveyance pipe 7. While conveying the medals using the conveying device (A), an appropriate amount is supplied to each machine 2. The medals that have reached the upper end are transferred to the lower transport device (B) through the connecting pipe, returned to the tank 15 together with the medals from each machine, and then lifted up by the lift 17 and polished. It will be cycled again. Note that the rotation direction of the rotating shaft 9 is the same as that of the spiral blade 2.
5, and if the rotation direction of the rotating shaft 9 is reversed, the conveyance direction is reversed. Further, the medals fed into the conveying pipe 7 are held in the space formed by the spiral blade 25, the rotating shaft 9, and the inner surface of the pipe 7, that is, the pitch interval portion of the spiral blade, and are transported forward. For this reason,
A large amount of medals can be transported continuously. Furthermore, even if deformed medals are mixed in, they can be transferred without clogging. Since the medals are transported within the pipe 7, there is no scattering of the medals, which is extremely advantageous in terms of management. Also,
This conveying device is easy to install, does not require adjustment like belts, and can easily adjust the conveying speed by changing the rotational speed of the rotating shaft. Therefore, it is possible to quickly and reliably supply the required amount of medals to a game machine that is in a fever state.
