。<Prior Art> Today, office automation equipment such as facsimile machines and copying machines are widely used, and various types of recording devices constituting their information output units have been developed. Among these, the ink-side recording method, which records by discharging liquid ink onto a recording sheet according to image signals, has excellent low noise characteristics, can perform high-speed recording, and also performs a specific fixing process on so-called plain paper. It has been attracting attention in recent years because it allows recording without any problems.

When this curl occurs, the recording sheet 50 discharged The sheets 52 are ejected while coming into contact with the sheets 52 that have already been ejected onto the ejection tray 5. - Discharge tray 51 and sheet 52 for boat fishing
Since the frictional force between the sheets 50 and 52 is greater than the frictional force between the sheets 50 and 52, when the sheet 50 curled downward as described above is ejected, the sheet 52 is pushed out and is not properly stacked on the ejection tray 51. There are issues such as the fact that it is no longer being used.

There is a method using a 4° electromagnetic energy generating means for ejecting ink, or a method using a thermal energy generating means for ejecting ink by heating the ink liquid with an electrothermal converter. Among these methods, the method of ejecting ink using a thermal energy generating means such as an electrothermal converter has the ability to arrange liquid ejection ports at a high density, making it possible to print with high resolution. This is preferable because it can be made compact.6 In this embodiment, among the inkjet recording methods described above, four line-type recording heads aa each ejecting four color inks of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black are used as recording means. , 4b, 4c, and 4d, and uses a bubble jet recording method that allows color recording.

The common liquid chamber 4m in the recording head 4a is filled with the liquid, and the liquid is guided into each nozzle 4h from this common liquid chamber 4m. These nozzles 4h are provided over the entire width direction of the recording sheet 2, and each nozzle 4h is formed with an ink ejection opening 4n, which is opposed to the recording sheet 2 of the recording head 4a and extends across the sheet width. They are formed at a predetermined pitch in the direction. This allows the multi-nozzle bubble jet recording with ejection ports over the entire recording width to be applied to the rad 4a.

As shown in Figure (e), the grown bubble 8 is cooled and contracted by the ink 7 in the nozzle 4h, and
The contraction causes ink droplets to fly from the ejection port. When the bubble 8 contracts, ink is supplied from the common liquid chamber 4m into the nozzle 4h by capillary action as shown in FIG. 4 (barrel).

Due to this structure, the curl of the discharged sheet can be effectively removed and the sheet can be reliably discharged to the discharge tray even during continuous discharge.
