方向内側に接合フランジを有する左右一対のルー
フサイドレールと、該両ルーフサイドレール間に
跨つて配置されるとともにその車幅方向両側部に
接合フランジを有するルーフパネルとを、該ルー
フサイドレール側接合フランジの上にルーフパネ
ル側接合フランジを重ね合わせた状態で該各接合
フランジを相互に溶接することによつて一体的に
結合するとともに、上記ルーフサイドレールとル
ーフパネルとの接合部には、該ルーフサイドレー
ルとルーフサイドレールとが連続して構成される
ルーフ面よりも陥没した状態で該接合部に沿つて
延び且つルーフモールが取り付けられる溝部が形
成され、さらに上記接合部にはルーフ上面側に配
置されるルーフ配置部材を固定するためのボルト
が上方に向けて固着された自動車において、上記
ボルトは、そのネジ部の先端に小径のガイド軸部
を有し且つ上記ルーフサイドレールの接合フラン
ジに対してその下面側にこれを上方に貫通した状
態で固着され、また上記ルーフパネルには上記ボ
ルトを挿通せしめるボルト嵌挿穴が形成され、且
つ上記ボルトを上記ボルト嵌挿穴に挿通させ且つ
上記ルーフパネル側接合フランジの上面側からナ
ツトを螺着した状態においては上記ボルトのネジ
部の一部が上記ナツトから上方に適宜寸法だけ突
出せしめられていることを特徴とする自動車の上
