Generally, the device shown in FIG. 1 can easily be considered as this type of device. In the figure, 1 is a camera that inputs the scene to be monitored, and 2 is camera 1.
3 is a scene writing control means for writing and controlling the contents of the scene memory 2 according to predetermined rules; 4 is the camera output and the scene memory; This is a scene change detection means for detecting a scene change by collating the contents of 2.

The operation of the general intrusion monitoring device shown in FIG. 1 is as follows. That is, since the scene memory 2 contains pre-recorded past scene information, for example, an image obtained by averaging past screens for a certain period of time, this is compared with the scene information of a new screen obtained from the camera 1. . In this comparison process, the scene change detection means 4 subtracts the two images, removes the background scene with no change, and detects only the change. In this case, if the detected value of the change exceeds a predetermined threshold value, it is determined that some kind of intrusion has occurred. Scene writing control means 3
has a control function for rewriting the contents of the scene memory 2 according to predetermined rules. Such an intrusion monitoring device compares past scene information with new scene information, detects changes in the scene information in the event of an intrusion, and obtains an output signal indicating that an intrusion has occurred. can.

However, in such general intrusion monitoring devices, the entire field of view of the camera 1 is the target area for intrusion detection, so it is difficult to detect areas with complex shapes, such as around specific equipment or multiple restricted areas. It is very difficult to selectively monitor only intrusions. Another disadvantage is that when installing the device or changing the prohibited area, the installation conditions of the camera 1 must be newly and finely adjusted, which is inconvenient.

This invention was made in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the above-mentioned general ones, and in addition to the above-mentioned general intrusion monitoring function, it also has an area writing function that can selectively write a no-intrusion area in the scene. It is an object of the present invention to provide a programmable intrusion monitoring device that allows a user to arbitrarily and easily set a no-intrusion area by adding means and area memory.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 2, the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 1 indicate the same or equivalent parts, so the explanation will be omitted. Further, 5 is an area writing means using, for example, a light pen or a keyboard, 6 is an area memory for storing the area written by this area writing means 5, and 7 is an area writing means 4 by the scene change detecting means 4. Area discriminating means discriminates whether the detected change area is located within the area stored in the area memory 6, 8 is an alarm means, and 9 is a scene monitor for monitoring the contents of the area memory.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. In FIG. 2, the operation of the change area detection unit consisting of the camera 1, scene memory 2, scene writing control means 3, and scene change detection means 4 is similar to that of the general intrusion monitoring device explained in FIG. be. That is, there is past scene information recorded in advance in the scene memory 2, and this and scene information as a new screen obtained from the camera 1 are inputted to the scene change detection means 4,
A calculation process of subtraction (subtraction) is performed on the two images to detect changes in the new image. The scene writing control means 3 is the same as that shown in FIG. 1 in that it performs a control operation for rewriting the contents of the scene memory 2 according to a predetermined rule.

On the other hand, an entry-prohibited area is written and stored in the area memory 6 in advance via the area writing means 5. The contents of this area memory 6 are sent to area discrimination means 7 as an area discrimination signal. On the other hand, the output signal from the scene change detection means 4 is applied to the area discrimination means 7, and if the output signal from the scene change detection means 4 is included in the area indicated by the area discrimination signal,
At this time, the area discrimination means 7 issues an alarm output signal to drive the alarm means 8. The scene monitor 9 is for the operator to refer to the monitored scene when performing the above-mentioned area writing.

FIG. 3 is an operational explanatory diagram for more specifically understanding the operation of the intrusion monitoring device according to the above-described embodiment of the present invention. The shaded area in Figure 3 is the building or installation within the field of view of the camera, and the dashed line area 1 in the diagram is
0 and 11 indicate no-trespass areas. In the intrusion monitoring device according to this embodiment, for example, even if a person is within the field of view of the camera shown in FIG.
When a person enters the area indicated by the broken line indicated by the no-entry areas 10 and 11, an alarm output signal for detecting an intrusion is generated.

If the operation of the area discriminating means 7 is set to distinguish between the prohibited area 10 and the prohibited area 11 shown in FIG. Of course, it is also possible to distinguish between cases of intrusion and generate different alarm output signals for each case.

Further, in the above embodiment, the case of intrusion monitoring has been described, but this may also be used for escape monitoring, and generally the same effect can be achieved as a monitoring device for objects entering and exiting from the boundary of a predetermined area. For example, if an infrared camera is introduced, it can be widely applied to outflow monitoring, deformation monitoring, and thermal monitoring, and the concept of intrusion monitoring in the present invention includes all of these types of monitoring.

As described above, according to the intrusion monitoring device of the present invention, the intrusion-prohibited area can be arbitrarily specified and written in the scene obtained by the surveillance camera. It is possible to monitor intrusions, and the user can easily make adjustments when setting up or relocating.
Furthermore, since multiple selection areas can be designated within the scene, work in the factory can be made more efficient and stable.

1 A scene change detection means records past scene information in a scene memory through a camera that inputs the scene to be monitored for intrusion, and compares the current scene information with the past scene information to detect changes in the scene. Therefore, in an intrusion monitoring device that monitors intruders, there is provided an area writing means in which an intrusion prohibited area within the scene can be arbitrarily set and input, and an intrusion prohibited area written by the area writing means. An intrusion monitoring device comprising an area memory for recording a prohibited area, and generating an alarm output signal when a change in the scene occurs within the preset intrusion prohibited area.
