The conventionally well-known backpack-type power spreader consists of a chemical tank filled with chemical liquid connected to an engine stand equipped with a pump and a small engine that drives the pump, and a backpack strap attached to this. The device is designed to be carried on one's back while walking around the field, spraying a chemical solution pressurized by a pump from a nozzle. In such a backpack-type power spreader, the engine mount and the chemical tank are both independent and separate parts, and the two are molded from synthetic resin and connected to each other using a joining fitting. For example, this type of backpack-type power spreader is disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 54-2681.

The backpack-type power spreader mentioned above originally has a separate synthetic resin engine stand and chemical tank bolted together using a connecting fitting, so load (stress) tends to concentrate on the connected parts. As a result, the bolt becomes loose and the bonding force between the two is reduced, resulting in looseness, and the bolt needs to be retightened to correct this looseness. This retightening temporarily increases the bonding force between the chemical tank and the engine mount, but when the engine mount of a backpack-type power sprayer fully filled with chemical solution is supported and lifted, the chemical tank As weight is added to the bolted connection, the synthetic resin part, which is strongly fastened by the bolt and embedded nut, receives shearing force from the bolt and nut, causing cracks, and eventually the joint becomes retightened. There was a risk of damage due to additional tightening. This type of damage is due to the fact that the chemical tank and engine mount are independent of each other, and even though they are integrated with the coupling fittings with bolts, there is no integration relationship between the two. be. Therefore, this invention attempts to prevent load concentration and damage by combining the engine mount and the chemical tank with each other instead of relying on bolts.

Embodiments of this invention will be described below with reference to the attached drawings. In these figures, the reference numeral 10 indicates a drug tank vacuum-formed from plastic, and the reference numeral 20 indicates an engine mount section vacuum-formed from synthetic resin like the drug tank 10. , pump, etc. are installed. The drug tank 10 is a hollow container, and has a drug filler 11 in the upper part, a cap 11A is applied to this, and handles 1 are provided on both sides of the upper part.
2 and 12 are formed, and the engine fuel tank 1 is located on the side opposite to the operator (front side of the viewer) while carrying the engine on the back.
3 is fitted into a recess 14 formed in the drug tank 10 and fastened with a bolt 13A. A nozzle pipe clip 15 is formed on the side surface of the drug tank 10 to support a spray nozzle pipe for a drug to be described later in an upright state.
5 has three substantially semicircular protrusions arranged in a straight line when viewed from the side, and arranged to be distributed left and right so as to form a substantially circular space when viewed from above. Furthermore, two support recesses 16 into which support arms formed in the engine stand 20 are inserted are formed at appropriate intervals in the width direction on the side of the operator of the drug tank 10 when carried on the back. The upper edge is a horizontal straight line in side view, and the lower edge is along a diagonal line that becomes shallower at the back, and the surface including the opening of the support recessed hole 16 is a base plate that constitutes the engine mount section 20. This is a shallow recess 17 for accommodating the
Two screw seats 18 each having a nut embedded therein are formed continuously from the screw seats 7, and a support groove 19 having a semicircular cross-section is provided along the width direction below between the screw seats 18. The engine stand 20 is formed by vacuum forming synthetic resin, and is generally U-shaped when viewed from the side, and when worn on the back, the side facing the operator becomes a base plate 21, and the upper edge of this base plate 21 Support arms 22 that can be tightly fitted into the support recessed hole 16 are integrally protruded on both left and right sides, and the upper edge 2
2A is generally horizontal, the lower edge 22B is a straight line inclined to the upper edge, and the cross-sectional shape of the support arm 22 is a vertically elongated oval-like shape. Further, between both support arms 22, the base plate portion 21
At the upper edge and on the drug tank 10 side, a supporting protrusion 23 is formed that is continuous in the width direction or has a semicircular cross section divided into several pieces, and a support protrusion 23 is formed in the shallow recess 1.
The screw seat 1 is fitted onto the upper edge of the support groove 19 formed on the upper edge of the screw seat 1.
Two screw flanges 24 that fit into the screw flanges 8 are formed. Side plate portions 25 are formed on both left and right sides of the base plate portion 21, and the lower end portions of the side plate portions 25 are connected to a mounting plate portion 26 that extends toward the side opposite to the worker when carried on the back. The both side plate parts 2 are integrated.
5, the engine recoil starter operation grip 3, which will be described later, is located on the left side when viewed from the back of the operator.
A window hole 25A through which 3B looks is opened. The engine base 3 is mounted on the mounting plate 26.
1 is fixed with screws via an insulator 32, and the engine 33 on the engine base 31 is placed in a position where the cooling air sucked in through the slit 33D of the recoil starter 33A is discharged from the exhaust port 33C to the rear of the operator. ing. This engine 3
The pump 34 is driven by the output of 3, and this pump 3
4 sucks the medicine from the medicine tank 10 through the suction pipe 34A, and sends it from the delivery pipe 34B to the spray nozzle pipe 35.
The water is sent to the air and sprayed from the nozzle 35A. Further, a tail pipe 36A of the muffler 36 extends rearward from between the insulators 32 so that the exhaust gas from the engine 33 can also be discharged to the space on the opposite side from the operator in the same manner as the cooling exhaust air. Then, the operator carries it on his back using a shoulder strap 37 that is hooked between the strap hook 10A formed on the top of the drug tank 10 and the strap hook 25B on the side plate section 25 of the engine mount section 20, and drives the pump with the engine. The drug tank 10 and the engine mount 20 on which the engine and pump are mounted are connected to each other. That is, the support arm 22 of the engine mount section 20 is fitted into the support recessed hole 16 formed in the drug tank 10, and both the drug tank 10 and the engine mount section 20 are connected to each other in the vertical and horizontal directions. Further, the support protrusion 23 is fitted into the support concave line 19, and the screw flange 24 is connected to the screw seat 18 by stacking screws, thereby integrating the drug tank 10 and the engine mount 20 in the front-rear direction. Therefore, the support arm 22 relative to the support recess 16
Due to the fitting connection, the drug tank 10 and the engine mount 20 are combined and integrated with each other in the gravity direction and the width direction, and in the front and back direction of both,
Since there is no load burden, even if the screw flange 24 is fixed with screws, no material damage to the synthetic resin portion will occur.

As is clear from the above explanation, the backpack-type power sprayer of this invention has a structure that is installed on the engine mount in order to connect the synthetic resin engine mount on which the engine and pump are mounted, and the synthetic resin chemical tank. By fitting the support arm into the support recess formed in the drug tank and the support protrusion into the support recess, a configuration is created in which the two sides bear each other's load and weight at the contact surface, eliminating the burden of load. Since the horizontal connection is integrated using screws, there is no risk of load concentration and there is no need to retighten the screws as with conventional products, so the two can be always and reliably integrated. Also, when disassembling both, simply pull out the support arm from the support recess.
Furthermore, since only a few screws need to be removed, assembly is easy, and repair work for engine pumps and the like can be easily performed.
