The end of the wire wound on the winding bobbin must be secured so that it does not unravel during transportation or storage. In the prior art, when the wire is thin, the end of the winding of the wire is fixed onto the winding coil of the wire with adhesive tape or the like. However, with this conventional technology, when processing the wire in the next process, the adhesive tape must be peeled off cleanly, which is cumbersome to handle, and the area where the adhesive tape is pasted gets dirty, and furthermore, if there is moisture on the wire surface. Difficult to apply adhesive tape
The problem was that the adhesive tape would peel off if left for a long time. Furthermore, if the wire rod has high rigidity, it cannot be fixed with adhesive tape, so other complicated fixing means are required.

On the other hand, the applicant has proposed a wire rod winding machine equipped with a catching plate having a catching claw that rotates together with the winding bobbin on the winding machine and captures the winding start end of the wire rod to be wound on the winding bobbin. In the terminal capturing device, the capturing claw further includes a capturing portion that captures a winding end of the wire rod, and is arranged to surround the capturing plate and the winding bobbin, and has a winding portion of the wire rod on an inner peripheral surface. A wire guide cover having a spiral guide groove for guiding a terminal end toward the catching claw and the wire guide cover are driven between a forward position in which the wire guide cover surrounds the winding bobbin and a retreat position in which the winding bobbin is released. He has invented a wire end catching device for a winding machine, which further includes a wire guiding means consisting of a driving source and a wire guiding means (Japanese Patent Application No. 132,210/1982).

However, in such devices, the spiral guide groove is integrally formed on the inner periphery of the guide cover, so the effect of forcibly guiding the wire deep inside the guide cover is weak, and the wire does not reach the entrance of the guide cover. There is a risk that the end of the winding of the wire rod can be reliably guided to the back of the guide cover toward the catching claw, and the wire rod may sometimes be caught incorrectly, resulting in poor reliability. In order to solve this problem, if the spiral guide groove is made deeper, the outer diameter of the wire guide cover becomes larger, resulting in a larger winder as a whole, which requires a larger installation space.

As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the clutch engagement position is such that the clutch is in pressure contact with the opposing friction plate 44 of the capture plate 12 and rotates together with the capture plate 12, and the clutch is disengaged from this friction plate and is independent of the capture plate 12. Move between rotating clutch release positions. A spring 46 is applied between a rib 43a of the shifting plate and a pin 42a of the clutch lever 42 to hold the clutch lever 42 in the clutch engagement position as shown. As can be seen from FIG. 8, when the clutch lever 42 is in the clutch engagement position, the line shifting lever 38 is in the retracted position shown by the solid line, but when the clutch lever 42 is in the clutch release position as shown by the arrow in FIG. When it moves, the wire bringing lever 38 swings counterclockwise in FIG. 8 and assumes the forward position where it brings the winding end 1b of the wire rod closer to the catching claw 14 as shown by the dotted line.

Next, the operation of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 9 and 10. When the wire rod 1 on the winding bobbin 10 is fully wound, as already mentioned, the wire rod 1 is The wire rod 1 is cut at point x, but before the cutting, the wire guide cover 28 moves forward as shown in FIG. 9A, and then the wire rod 1 is cut. In this state, the wire rod guiding member 50 moves forward due to the contraction of the piston rod of the linear drive source 56, and the end winding end 1b of the wire rod 1 is guided along the inner surface of the wire rod guiding cover 28 as shown in FIG. 9B. It is guided to the right in FIG. 9B and brought near the capture plate 12. Thereafter, the release plate 48 moves forward and the clutch lever 42 is released, and at the same time a brake is applied to the spindle 22 of the winding bobbin, so that only the line shifting plate 34 rotates due to inertia. As shown, the winding end 1b of the wire 1 is bitten into the catching claw 14 and captured. Due to the rigidity of the end winding end 1b, a brake is applied to the line shifting lever 38 and the line shifting plate 34 is also stopped.

According to the present invention, the wire guide cover is arranged to surround the capture plate and the winder, and the wire guide cover is moved between the forward position where the cover surrounds the winding bobbin and the retreat position where the winding bobbin is released. A ring that is connected to the drive source and stands up in the space between the winding bobbin and the wire guide cover, separately from the wire guide cover, and on the outside of the collar that is farther from the catch plate of the winding bobbin. A wire rod guiding member consisting of is arranged, and the wire rod guiding member is driven linearly in the space between the winding bobbin and the wire rod guiding cover along the axial direction of the winding bobbin, and winding is performed at the forward position of the wire rod guiding cover. Since the winding end of the wire in the space between the bobbin and the wire guiding cover is connected to a linear drive source that guides the winding end of the wire rod toward the catching claw, the winding end of the wire rod does not jump out of the wire rod guiding cover. It is possible to reliably guide the wire toward the catching claw deep inside the guide cover, which eliminates the possibility of mis-catching the wire, and it is possible to secure the final winding end of the wire with high reliability after winding is complete. . In addition, since the outer diameter of the wire guide cover does not increase, the wire guide device and the winding machine as a whole can be made smaller.
It is possible to save space. Furthermore, unlike the conventional method, adhesive tape is not required, so the wire rod will not be soiled, unfixed, or cannot be fixed, and it can be applied to highly rigid wire rods.
