本発明は住宅機器用、建築部材用、衛生機器用等、特に
強度、耐久性が要求される成形品に用いられるシート状
の不飽和ポリエステル樹脂成形材料に関するものである

従来、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂成形材料は、樹脂として
末端カルボン酸不飽和ポリエステル樹脂を用いているが
、樹脂粘度が高く、補強材としてガラス繊維を多量に用
いるシート状成形材料ではガラス繊維と樹脂との濡れが

本発明に用いるウレタン変性不飽和ポリエステル樹脂は
好ましくは不飽和ポリエステル樹脂の末端が水酸基から
なり、ジイソシアネートでウレタン変性できるものが望
ましいが、特に限定するものではない、ウレタン変性不
飽和ポリエステル樹脂の添加量は成形材料の樹脂全量で
もよいが好ましくは50−100重量%(以下単に%と
記す)であることが望ましい、即ち50%未満では樹脂
としての粘度が低粘度になり難いからである。成形材料
全量中の樹脂量は20〜60%が好ましい、補強材とし
てはガラス繊維、合成繊維、炭素繊維、セラミック繊維
、天然繊維等を用いることができ全量中の補強材量は4
0〜80%が好ましい、充填剤としては炭酸カルシウム
、クレー、シリカ、タルク、水酸化アルミニウム等の無
機粉末充填剤を必要に応じて添加することができる。架
橋剤、離型剤、着色剤、界面活性剤等については通常用
いられているものをそのまま用いることができ、これら
配合材料を混合、混練後、シート状にして不飽和ポリエ
