Claims (1)
自動溶接装置において、 対向配置した第1の溶接トーチとこれに溶接進
行方向に先行させて連設した被溶接組立部材の竪
部材と水平部材とに当接してその溶接線を連続し
て検出する2軸検知器と、 第2の溶接トーチとこれに溶接進行方向に先行
させて連設するとともに前記2軸検知器よりも溶
接進行方向に先行させて設けた被溶接組立部材の
竪部材に当接してその位置を連続して検出すると
ともにその竪部材の終端を検出できる1軸検知器
と、 前記2軸検知器からの位置検出信号により前記
第1の溶接トーチの上下および左右方向の位置を
制御し、かつ第2の溶接トーチの上下方向の位置
を制御する主スライド機構の倣い制御装置とさら
にこれと独立して前記1軸検知器からの位置検出
信号により作動させる第2の溶接トーチの左右方
向の位置を制御する従スライド機構の倣い制御装
置を備えたことを特徴とする倣い機構を有する自
動溶接装置。 2 走行台車上に、走行方向と直交する水平方向
に摺動する第1のスライド機構を設置し、同第1
のスライド機構に上下方向に摺動する第2のスラ
イド機構を設置し、同第2のスライド機構の上部
に前記第1のスライド機構の摺動方向と同方向に
延在する台座を取り付け、同台座の一方側に支柱
を介して第1の溶接トーチを取り付けるとともに
、同台座の他方側に前記第1のスライド機構の摺
動方向と同方向に摺動する第3のスライド機構を
設置して同第3のスライド機構に支柱を介して第
2の溶接トーチを取り付け、前記第1の溶接トー
チに近接しかつ対向配置してなる第2の溶接トー
チよりも溶接進行方向に先行させて2軸検知器を
取り付け、同2軸検知器による被溶接組立部材の
位置検出信号に基ずいて第1のスライド機構及び
第2のスライド機構の作動を制御して第1の溶接
トーチ及び第2の溶接トーチを溶接線に倣わせる
構成とし、前記第2の溶接トーチに近接しかつ前
記2軸検知器よりも、溶接進行方向に先行させて
1軸検知器を取り付け、同1軸検知器による被溶
接組立部材の位置検出信号に基づいて第3のスラ
イド機構の作動を制御して第2の溶接トーチの水
平方向の倣いを補正するとともに同1軸検知器に
よる被溶接組立部材の竪部材の終端検出信号に基
づいてその終端部までの溶接を行う構成としたこ
