ある。<Conventional technology> Most conventional bathtubs, whether made of stainless steel or plastic, are designed to improve strength and uniformity of quality. Examples include (1) Utility Model Application No. 114238/1983. , (2) There is a bathtub disclosed in Utility Model Publication No. 11473/1983, and the invention of (1) is a bathtub in which a bent outward flange and a molded flange made of wood or plastic are connected directly to each other by overlapping the joint. It has a structure that is removably fixed with screws. Applicable
The invention (2) provides for a reinforcing member which is bent outward from the upper end of the resin bathtub to support the lower end from the inner surface of the hanging piece of the flange and bent slightly upward from the outer surface of the lower end. This is a bathtub in which the flange of the resin bathtub is reinforced with a reinforcing member and the foamed cured resin without using screws or the like by integrally fixing the foamed cured resin injected into the valley between the upper ends and cured to the flange.

その構成に安全性の配慮は皆無である。<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> If we combine the two conventional inventions, we can find a foamed hardened resin in which an inverted U-shaped flange made of wood or plastic is injected into the valley of the upper end of a resin bathtub without fixing it with screws. However, the flange is rigid and thin to provide a warm appearance, and the flange joint of the stainless steel bathtub is ground using advanced technology to increase strength. This is only to prevent deterioration and to omit the grinding technology and process.
The invention in this example does not intend the safety of bathers at all, and there is no consideration given to safety in its construction.

の解決すべき課題である。 Originally, the bathroom, bathtub, and washing area become moist when taking a bath, and hot water and soap can make them slippery, making it difficult for healthy people, elderly people with weak legs, and people with physical disabilities to slip in the bathtub or washing area. In the event of a fall, the rigid thin flange itself or its corners could hit the head or body strongly, which was extremely dangerous. In a social situation where the number of elderly people is gradually increasing, there is a demand for the development of safe bathtubs for these people and people with physical disabilities, and this point is an issue to be solved by the present invention.

This is an overall perspective view of the bathtub B of the embodiment. In the figure, the bathtub 1 is made of cast iron, steel plate, etc. as a base with enamel processing or unprocessed stainless steel, and has a stepped portion 2' at the upper end edge. The flange 2 is integrally bent outward through the flange 2, and the flange 2 has a large number of through holes 3, 3, etc. arranged in a row at equal or unequal intervals over the entire circumference, and the stepped portion 2 of the flange ', the upper surface, corner portion 4, and lower surface are covered with a resin molding mold (not shown) while maintaining a certain cavity, and the mold is set.

The upper surface side and the lower surface side of the flange are in communication with each other, and the degree of foaming gradually increases over time, and foaming is promoted outward from the center of the cavity. The contact area is pressed and compressed to form a high-density film, and as shown in Figure 2, a surface layer or skin layer 6 is formed by itself even though it is the same foamable resin, and after foaming is completed, the resin mold is removed. Then, the buffer flange 5 is formed. The buffer flange 5 has a smooth surface with high density on the surface in contact with the resin molding die, and the inside thereof has a large number of independent bubble layers, so it has a remarkable buffering effect against external impacts. demonstrate. By providing the stepped portion 2', the buffer flange 5 extends to the inner surface of the upper end of the bathtub, which is extremely effective in absorbing the feeling in the bathtub and in case of shock. Moreover, the buffer body is configured to reinforce the lower surface side of the base of the bathtub flange.

The action is as described above, and the following effects are achieved.
(1) The buffer flange integrally attached to the outer periphery of the bathtub flange is extremely easy to manufacture because it is constructed by insert foam molding a soft foam resin material.
(2) Since the buffer flange is integrally adhered to the bathtub flange by the above-mentioned foam molding, it is strong and does not peel off easily. (3) The shock absorber flange has a skin layer on the surface and a closed cell inside, giving it a warm appearance and feel.Since it utilizes the cushioning action of air rather than the elasticity of the material, it is easy to grasp the shock absorber flange when taking a bath. Or, in the unlikely event that you fall, the impact is extremely soft and absorbs the impact, playing a major role in preventing danger.
