面形状を断面積が熱風の送風方向において前側よ

により上記目的を達成できたものである。即ち、
熱風吐出口4を通つて吐出口カバー11から噴出
する熱風に断面円弧状の吐出口カバー11により
広がりを持たせることができ、広範囲の乾燥をで
きるものである。

面円弧状の上下に延びる吐出口カバー11を形成
している。吐出口カバー11は、縦長で断面円弧
状のカバー本体30の左右に上下で複数の吐出孔
31を設けて形成している。吐出口カバー11の
左右の吐出孔31を仕切る中央部の縦リブ32の
水平断面形状は、第8図に示すように熱風の送風
方向において前側よりも後側の断面積が大きくな
つた三角形としており、熱風吐出口4を通つて吐
出孔31から噴き出す熱風を縦リブ32により更
に拡散させることができるようにしている。尚、
縦リブ32の水平断面形状は、第9図に示すよう
に熱風の送風方向で前端部の両側にアールを付け
て断面積が熱風の送風方向において前側よりも後
側が大きくなるようにしてもよい。ドライヤ本体
6の吐出口カバー11の下部にはコネクタ12を
形成しており、このコネクタ12にプラグ15を
熱風の送風方向と直交する方向に突出させて着脱
自在に取付けてグリツプ8を形成している。コネ
クタ12は導電板13と一体成形されており、コ
ネクタピン14をコネクタ12にかしめ固定して
コネクタピン14と導電板13とを導通状態にし
ている。プラグ15はコネクタ12への差込部1
6を有するプラグ本体17とブツシング18とを
一体成形して形成したものであり、又、このプラ
グ15とはプラグピン19と電源コード7をかし
め固定して同時成形し電源コード7をブツシング
18より下方に向けて導出させている。従つて、
使用に際して電源コード7をグリツプ8の下方か
ら垂下させることができ、グリツプ8をスムーズ
に握ることができ、使い勝手が良いものである。
差込み部16の外周にはロツク溝20を形成して
おり、このロツク溝20に、ドライヤ本体6に取
付けたばね21にて水平方向に付勢されたロツク
ピン22をコネクタ12の挿入孔23を通して嵌
合させている。ロツク溝20は上下で傾斜してお
り、又ばね21で付勢されたロツクピン22の先
端はテーパ部となつており、従つてロツク溝20
とロツクピン22の嵌合はクリツク機構となつて
いる。プラグ本体17の外周には鍔部20を設け
ており、この鍔部29によりグリツプ8の滑りを
防止している。ドライヤ本体6内には、送風フア
ン1と配線板26に取付けたヒータ2とモータ3
とからなる熱風発生装置Bを収容しており、又、
熱風発生装置Bへの通電を入切するメインスイツ
チ24と送風量を調整する切換スイツチ27を収
容している。このヘアードライヤAのメインスイ
ツチ24は吐出口カバー11の下部に設けたスイ
ツチ操作板25の上下動によりスイツチカム28
介してオン、オフ操作される。スイツチ操作板2
5は吐出口カバー11に一体的に形成したばね部
33と嵌合して上下動自在且つ所定位置、即ちば
ね部33の凹部34で停止できるようになつてい
る。又、スイツチ操作板25は吐出口カバー11
の形状に合わせて断面円弧状としているので、突
起部などを設けなくても指の掛かりが良いもので
ある。このように断面円弧状の吐出口カバー11
の下部のデツドスペースにスイツチ操作部、コネ
クタ部等を設けているので、ドライヤ本体6をコ
ンパクトにできるものである。
