Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.構造: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ (式中、Arは炭素数5〜20の範囲のアリール、ヘテロアリール、置換アリー ルまたは置換ヘテロアリールであり、各Rは水素、炭素数1〜20のヒドロカル ビルまたは置換ヒドロカルビル基であり、但し、該構造中に二重結合に対してア リル性の水素原子はない)を有するアリール−ビニル化合物の選択的モノエポキ シ化方法であって、該方法が該アリール−ビニル化合物を、担体を含む触媒の総 重量に基づき0.001〜10重量%の、 アルカリ金属の塩、 アルカリ金属の酸化物、 アルカリ土類金属の塩、または アルカリ土類金属の酸化物(但し過酸化バリウムは除く)及びそれらの任意の2 種またはそれ以上の混合物から選ばれた少なくとも1種の促進剤を含む銀含有触 媒の存在下において0.01〜30のアリール−ビニル化合物対酸素のモル比を 保持するのに充分な量の酸素含有ガスと接触させることを含んでなり、該接触を 0.1〜100気圧の範囲の圧力、100〜325℃の範囲の温度において0. 5〜75%の範囲のアリール−ビニル化合物転化率を得るのに充分な時間実施す る方法。 2.前記銀触媒が、元素銀0.5〜50重量%を含んでなる担持銀触媒である請 求の範囲第1項に係る方法。 3.前記担持銀触媒が約50m2/g以下の表面積を有する無機担体上に担持さ れた請求の範囲第2項に係る方法。 4.前記無機担体が シリカ、 アルミナ、 シリカ−アルミナ、 ゼオライト、 酸化チタン、 酸化ランタン、 酸化マグネシウム、 窒化硼素、 炭化硼素、 窒化珪素、 炭化珪素、 酸化亜鉛、 酸化錫、 酸化鉄、 酸化カルシウム、 酸化バリウム、 酸化ストロンチウム、 酸化ジルコニウム、 炭素、 燐酸硼素、 燐酸ジルコニウム 及びそれらの任意の2種またはそれ以上の混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求の 範囲第3項に係る方法。 5.前記促進剤がアルカリ金属のハロゲン化物または硝酸塩である請求の範囲第 1項に係る方法。 6.前記アリール−ビニル化合物が スチレン、 ジビニルベンゼン、 p−クロロスチレン、 p−フルオロスチレン、 4−ビニルピリジン 及びそれらの任意の2種またはそれ以上の混合物から選ばれる請求の範囲第1項 に係る方法。 7.前記銀触媒が 約1〜30重量%の範囲の銀、 約0.001〜10重量%の範囲のアルカリ金属ハロゲン化物または硝酸塩及び 約10m2/g未満の表面積を有するアルミナ担体を含んでなり、該重量%が触 媒の総重量に基づく請求の範囲第6項に係る方法。 8.前記銀触媒が 約2〜20重量%の範囲の銀、 0.01〜2重量%の範囲のアルカリ金属ハロゲン化物または硝酸塩及び 約1m2/g未満の表面積を有するアルミナ担体を含んでなり、該重量%が触媒 の総重量に基づく請求の範囲第6項に係る方法。 9.前記アルカリ金属ハロゲン化物または硝酸塩が塩化セシウム、臭化セシウム 、硝酸セシウム及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求の範囲第8項に 係る方法。 10.前記接触を、約175〜275℃の範囲の温度、約1〜30気圧の範囲の 圧力において、約5〜60%の範囲のアリール−ビニル化合物転化率を得るのに 充分な時間実施する請求の範囲第7項に係る方法。 11.前記接触を、約175〜275℃の範囲の温度、約1〜30気圧の範囲の 圧力において、約5〜60%の範囲のアリール−ビニル化合物転化率を得るのに 充分な時間実施する請求の範囲第8項に係る方法。 12.前記酸素含有ガスが 空気、 不活性ガス希釈空気、 不活性ガス希釈酸素、 酸素高含有空気及び 実質的に精製された酸素 からなる群から選ばれる請求の範囲第1項に係る方法。 13.前記アリール−ビニル化合物がスチレンである請求の範囲第1項に係る方 法。 14.前記銀触媒が 約1〜30重量%の範囲の銀、 約0.001〜10重量%の範囲のアルカリ金属ハロゲン化物または硝酸塩及び 約10m2/g未満の表面積を有するアルミナ担体を含んでなり、該重量%が触 媒の総重量に基づく請求の範囲第13項に係る方法。 15.前記銀触媒が 約2〜20重量%の範囲の銀、 0.01〜2重量%のアルカリ金属ハロゲン化物または硝酸塩及び 約1m2/g未満の表面積を有するアルミナ担体を含んでなり、該重量%が触媒 の総重量に基づく請求の範囲第13項に係る方法。 16.前記アルカリ金属ハロゲン化物または硝酸塩が塩化セシウム、臭化セシウ ム、硝酸セシウム及びそれらの混合物から選ばれる請求の範囲第15項に係る方 法。 17.前記接触を、約175〜275℃の範囲の温度、約1〜30気圧の範囲の 圧力において、約5〜60%の範囲のアリール−ビニル化合物転化率を得るのに 充分な時間実施する請求の範囲第14項に係る方法。 18.前記接触を、約175〜275℃の範囲の温度、約1〜30気圧の範囲の 圧力において、約5〜60%の範囲のアリール−ビニル化合物転化率を得るのに 充分な時間実施する請求の範囲第15項に係る方法。
