FIG. 5 is a partially cutaway plan view of the switch described in the above publication, and FIG. 6 is a sectional view taken along line A-A in FIG. 5. In these figures, 1 is a synthetic resin board. On the surface of the substrate 1, a plurality of wiring patterns 2 are provided concentrically around the rotation hole 1a. 3 is a metal cover attached to the substrate 1, and the cover 3 is also provided with a rotation hole 3a corresponding to the rotation hole 1a of the substrate 1. Reference numeral 4 denotes a holder made of synthetic resin, and a cylindrical portion 4b having an oval-shaped operation hole 4a in the center is formed protrudingly from one end of the holder 4. They are rotatably inserted into the holes 1a and 3a, respectively. It should be noted that a sealing member such as packing (not shown) is interposed on the bonding surfaces of the substrate 1, cover 3, and holder 4 to ensure waterproof or dustproof properties. Furthermore, contacts 5 such as sliders and movable contacts are supported on the surface of the holder 4 facing the substrate 1, depending on the current capacity of the wiring pattern 2. By rotation,
It is designed to slide on the substrate 1 while coming into contact with and separating from the corresponding wiring pattern 2.

When the switch configured in this manner is mounted on a vehicle, a shift lever (not shown) is connected to the operation hole 4a of the holder 4. Therefore, when the driver operates the shift lever to a predetermined position, the holder 4 rotates and each contact 5 comes into contact with and separates from the wiring pattern 2 (that is, on/off switching is performed).
Desired position signals such as a position signal and a backlight signal are output.

By the way, in the case of the above-mentioned switch, it is necessary for the holder to be connected at a precise angular position for each position of the shift lever. For example, it can be shipped temporarily fixed at the center position corresponding to the neutral position of the shift lever.

Conventionally, as such a temporary fixing structure, the fifth,
As shown in FIG. 6, fitting holes 1b and 4c are formed at the center position of the substrate 1 and the holder 4, respectively, and temporary fixing pins 6 made of synthetic resin are inserted into these fitting holes 1b and 4c.
A structure has been adopted in which the fitting hole 1b on the substrate 1 side is filled with an adhesive after the substrate 1 is fitted into the substrate 1. Therefore, by assembling the switch temporarily fixed in the center position in the vehicle and connecting it to the shift lever in the neutral position, the position of the shift lever and the switching timing of the switch can be accurately matched. After assembly, the temporary fixing state can be released by operating the shift lever to shear and break the temporary fixing pin 6.

However, it is very difficult to form both the fitting holes 1b, 4c at predetermined positions with high precision. For example, if one of the fitting holes deviates in the radial direction of the substrate, the fitting holes 1b, 4c 4c do not match, it becomes impossible to fit the temporary fixing pin 6, and if the fitting hole is misaligned in the circumferential direction of the substrate 1 (rotational direction of the holder 4), the substrate 1 and the holder 4
A problem occurs in that the paper is temporarily fixed in a state where it is deviated from the desired center position. In addition, in the temporary fixing structure described above, when releasing the temporary fixing,
The temporary fixing pin 6 may be cut with an uneven fractured surface, and in such a case, the smooth sliding of the holder 4 may be impaired, or a part of the fractured surface may be missing. There was a problem in that the pieces got into the space between the wiring pattern and the contacts, causing poor contact.
Furthermore, in the case of using a temporary fixing pin as described above, once the temporary fixing pin is broken, temporary fixing cannot be performed again, so it is not possible to respond to temporary fixing again required for maintenance (repair) etc. There was a problem.

The above object of the present invention is to provide a substrate provided with a desired wiring pattern, a cover attached to the substrate,
A holder having contacts and rotatably supported between the substrate and the cover is provided, and by rotating the holder, the contacts slide on the wiring pattern to turn on/off. In the switch where switching is performed, a screw hole is provided at a predetermined position of the cover, an adjustment screw capable of pressing and holding the holding body is screwed into the screw hole, and the screw hole is sealed on the back side of the cover. This is generally achieved by providing a sealing member that does.

According to the present invention, when the holding body is pressed through the sealing member by tightening the screw, the rotation of the holding body is restricted and the holding body becomes temporarily fixed, and when the screw is loosened, the holding body is temporarily fixed. Since the lock is released, it is possible to temporarily lock the switch again when necessary, not only during shipping and transportation of the switch, but also after the switch is installed.

In these figures, 2a is a wiring pattern for detecting the reference position (center position in this example), and 2b is
are common wiring patterns, and when the slider 5 fixed to the lower surface of the holder 4 comes into contact with both wiring patterns 2a and 2b, they are electrically connected and a reference position detection signal is obtained. There is. In addition, 7 is a screw for temporary fixing, and this screw 7 is the cover 3.
It is screwed into a screw hole 3b provided at the center position. Further, 8 is a sealing member made of an elastic material such as a rubber sheet, 9 is a receiving plate interposed between the sealing member 8 and the screw 7, and the periphery of the sealing member 8 is attached to the back surface of the cover 3. It is bonded to prevent moisture, dust, etc. from entering the inside through the screw hole 3b. Note that the holding body 4 does not have a conventional fitting hole for inserting a temporary fixing pin,
The remaining configuration of the switch according to this embodiment is as follows:
6. It is similar to the one shown in FIG.

When temporarily fixing the holder 4 to the center position of the board 1, the holder 4 and the cover 3 are first assembled to the board 1 in sequence to obtain the switch shown in FIG. 1. In this case, the screw 7 is in a loosened state as shown in FIG. 3, and the seal member 8 is separated from the upper surface of the holder 4 due to its own elasticity. Therefore, the holder 4 is attached to the rotation hole 1 with respect to the substrate 1.
It is freely rotatable around point a, and in this state, necessary inspections for switches such as disconnections and short circuits in the wiring pattern 2 can be performed.

Next, insert a jig (not shown) into the operation hole 4a, rotate the holder 4 toward the center, and rotate both wiring patterns 2.
The holder 4 is accurately positioned at the center position of the substrate 1 based on a reference position detection signal obtained by the slider 5 conducting conductivity between a and 2b. Thereafter, while maintaining this state, tighten the screw 7, and press the top surface of the holder 4 toward the substrate with the tip of the screw 7 via the receiving plate 9 and the seal member 8, as shown in FIG. A switch in which a holder 4 is temporarily fixed to the center position of a board 1 is obtained.

The switch according to this embodiment is shipped and transported in this temporarily fixed state and assembled into a vehicle, and a connecting pin (not shown) having an oval cross-sectional shape, for example, is inserted into the operation hole 4a. This connects the shift lever, which is also built into the vehicle, in the neutral position. After this connection, when the screws 7 are loosened to return to the non-temporarily fastened state shown in FIG. A precise position signal is detected from the switch corresponding to the position. In this case, since the screw hole 3b of the cover 3 is kept sealed by the seal member 8, moisture, dust, etc. will not enter the switch through the screw hole 3b.
Accidents such as poor contact can be prevented.
