DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a low-repulsion ball core that has appropriate softness and suppresses repulsion force.

Traditionally, balls used in ball games have always been required to fly longer distances, and to achieve this, core bodies with high elasticity and high repulsion have been developed.

However, regulations have begun to be put in place regarding the flight distance, and there is an urgent need to develop balls with short flight distances. Ball cores designed to achieve short flight distances include foamed cores made by foaming synthetic resin or synthetic rubber alone, or foamed cores made by mixing wood foam such as crushed cork. be.

However, with the above-mentioned foam core, it is difficult to foam in a short period of time, a particularly long molding time is required when forming a large core, and the foam density is unstable and non-uniform, resulting in high molding costs.

Furthermore, in the latter case, the base material of the wood foam core is cork resin, which is a natural product and cannot be mass-produced, so it is inevitably expensive, which puts a great deal of pressure on the price of the product. Therefore, the present invention was developed to eliminate these drawbacks, and it forms a core body that has sufficient softness and can suppress flight distance with low rebound, and at the same time, reduces product cost. The aim is to also measure the reduction.

以下、図面を参照しつつ詳述する。 A detailed description will be given below with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1, the present invention involves crushing vulcanized sponge rubber to an appropriate particle size to obtain sponge rubber pieces 1, adding thermosetting resin 2 and polyhydric alcohol to the sponge rubber pieces 1. 3, and the mixture 1,
The present invention is characterized by a ball core in which 2 and 3 are filled into a mold having a desired ball core shape and heated to form a ball core in a desired shape.

The sponge rubber 1 of the present invention is made by blending a foaming agent into unvulcanized rubber mixed with several types of chemicals, foaming and vulcanizing it by heating, and forming countless closed cells inside. Since the density of the material is extremely low, the impact resilience necessarily decreases with the density. This sponge rubber is crushed to a desired particle size and shaped into strips. At this stage, the particle size of the strips can be adjusted to change the density, that is, adjust the repulsive force. The sponge rubber strips 1 thus formed are mixed with thermosetting resin 2 such as epoxy resin and coagulated, and at this time polyhydric alcohol such as triethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol is added to adjust its density. Adjust hardness. The resulting ball core has a low density (0.24~
0.80) to exhibit low repulsive force.

Using this as a core material, a skin is attached to complete the ball. For example, as shown in Fig. 2, an outer shell 4 is formed using several types of outer skin materials to obtain a ball of the desired shape, but the outer shell is not particularly particular. First, it can be formed using conventional methods.

As explained above, since the present invention is formed using vulcanized sponge rubber, it is possible to use sponge rubber that is not specially formed, such as a defective molded product or a used product, so it is extremely inexpensive. It is also an ideal low-repulsion ball core that can be adjusted to various densities.
