This type of belt cleaner will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. A cleaner chip 2 that slides on the conveyor belt A is attached to a shaft 1 in the width direction (left and right direction, the same applies hereinafter) of the conveyor belt A. By pressing the chips 2 against the running belt A, the deposits on the belt A are scraped off and removed.

In this belt cleaner, the cleaner tip 2 gradually wears out as it is used, but it is preferable to always perform the scraping action with a constant pressing force, and for this purpose, it is necessary to adjust the pressing force each time it wears. For this reason, the applicant of this application
As shown in Publication No. 114565 and FIG. 3, a shaft 1 is supported in a frame F through a long hole 3, and a spring 4 urges its protruding end in the direction of pressure contact with the chip 2 (in the direction of the arrow in the figure). However, we have proposed a device that uses this biasing force to maintain a constant pressing force even if the chip 2 wears out.

However, in this conventional example, the elongated hole 3
On the other hand, if the penetrating direction of the shaft 1 is tilted to the left or right in FIG. 3, the shaft 1 and the circumferential edge of the elongated hole 3 come into pressure contact with each other, resulting in a problem that vertical movement cannot be performed smoothly. Although this problem can be solved by increasing the width of the elongated hole 3, the backlash within the elongated hole 3 of the shaft 1 increases, resulting in a lack of stability in sliding contact of the chip 2.

In order to achieve the above object, this invention provides a belt cleaner in which a shaft in the width direction of a conveyor belt is provided with a cleaner chip that comes into sliding contact with the belt, and a circle perpendicular to the shaft is attached to each end of the shaft. Column-shaped support rods are each fixed, and the support rods are provided with gaps between brackets that are respectively protruded from the frame at required intervals in the length direction of the support rods, so that the support rods can be moved in a direction in which the chips are pressed against the belt. Nuts are movably screwed into both sides of the support rod with one bracket on the side away from the shaft as a boundary, and a compression spring is provided between the shaft-side nut and the one bracket. interposed, and one bracket is screwed to the frame by a single screw so as to be rotatable around the screw, and the screw is perpendicular to both the shaft and the support rod. That's what I did.

In the belt cleaner configured in this manner, the cleaner chip is pressed against the conveyor belt by the biasing force of the compression spring, and when the conveyor belt runs, the deposits are scraped off. As this action causes the cleaner tip to wear, this wear is absorbed by the movement of the tip by the spring and is constantly scraped off with a constant pressure.

At this time, if the left and right support rods are not parallel, the chip will not move smoothly due to the movement of the support rods. Therefore, when assembling the belt cleaner with this configuration, loosen the mounting screw on one bracket,
Rotate the bracket around the mounting screw,
After making the left and right support rods parallel, tighten their mounting screws.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a cleaner chip 2 is attached to a shaft 1 in the width direction of a conveyor belt A over its entire length in the width direction.
is brought into pressure contact with the belt A, and when the belt A runs, the chips 2 scrape off and remove the deposits on the conveying surface. Hinge-shaped bearings 5 are fastened to both ends of the shaft 1 by bolts 6, and by opening the bearings 5 as shown by the chain lines in FIG. 2, the shaft 1 (cleaner main body) is removed.

Nuts 10 and 11 are movably screwed into both sides (upper and lower) of the support rod 7 with the bracket 9 as a boundary, and a pressure spring 12 is interposed between the nut 10 and the bracket 9. Therefore, by screwing the nut 10 toward the bracket 9 side, the spring 12 is further compressed, and the cleaner tip 2 is pressed against the belt A more strongly, and by adjusting the screwing position of the nut 11, the tip 2 can be pushed more than a predetermined level. is prevented from rising. That is, the nut 11 serves as a stopper.

Although the support rod 7 in the embodiment is a full-length threaded rod, a plurality of threads are in contact with the inner circumferential surfaces of the through holes of the brackets 8 and 9, and the inner circumferential edges of the through holes and the thread root portions are locked. Therefore, there is no problem in the movement of the support rod 7. However, it is preferable that the sliding contact portion of the support rod 7 with the through hole not be threaded.

This embodiment is configured as described above,
First, as shown in FIG. 2, the cleaner tip 2 is attached to the belt A so as to be substantially perpendicular to the belt A, and the pressing force of the tip 2 is adjusted using the nut 10. During this installation, even if the shaft 1 tilts (rotates) to the left or right around the support rod 7, since the support rod 7 is cylindrical, it will move up and down just by rotating the support rod 7 within the brackets 8 and 9. It does not interfere with movement.

Further, at this time, if the left and right support rods 7, 7 are not parallel, the chip 2 will not move smoothly due to the movement of the support rods 7, 7. Therefore, during this assembly, the mounting screw 9' of the bracket 9 is loosened, the bracket 9 is rotated about the screw 9', the left and right support rods 7 are made parallel, and then the screw 9' is tightened.

When the conveyor belt A runs with the cleaner chips 2 pressed against the conveyor belt A, the chips 2 scrape off the deposits. As this action causes the cleaner tip 2 to wear, this wear is absorbed by the movement of the tip 2 by the spring 12 and is constantly scraped off with a constant pressure.

Since this invention is constructed as described above, it is possible to automatically cope with the wear of the cleaner tip and perform scraping and removal with a constant pressure contact force, and the parallelism of both support rods can also be adjusted by adjusting the bracket. Since it can be obtained by rotating, it also has the effect of making the installation work easier. Furthermore, the structure is simpler than that of the conventional example shown in FIG.
