Conventionally, this type of elevator door has been constructed as shown in Figs. 6 and 7. This will be briefly explained based on the figures. Reference numerals 1 and 2 are upper and lower rails extending in the horizontal direction; They are located above and below the entrance/exit. 3 is a plate member that forms the door surface;
It has reinforcing members 4 and 5 at the upper and lower ends, respectively, and is movably provided between the upper and lower rails 1 and 2. 6
is a hanging member having an L-shaped cross section, and both of the reinforcing members 4,
A suspension wheel 6a is fixed to the upper reinforcing member 4 of the rails 5, and a hanging wheel 6a that rolls on the upper rail 1 is rotatably provided on the entrance/exit side of the hall. Reference numeral 7 denotes a leg member having an I-shaped cross section, which faces the inside of the plate member 3 and is fixed to the lower reinforcing member 5, and has a door wheel 7a rolling on the lower rail 2 at the lowest end. It is rotatably provided.

However, in the conventional elevator door, since the reinforcing member 5 is welded and fixed to the plate member 3,
There was a problem in that it took a lot of time to remove the welding distortion that occurred in the plate member 3, making the manufacture of the door complicated. Further, there was also the problem that putty work and new manufacturing of the reinforcing member 5 were required at the time of painting, which increased costs.

Fig. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the main parts of the elevator door according to the present invention, Figs. 2 and 3 are a cross-sectional view and a front view similarly showing the elevator door, and the following figures are similar to Figs. 6 and 7. Identical members are given the same reference numerals, and detailed explanations will be omitted. In the same figure, what is indicated by the reference numeral 21 is a steel plate member that forms the door surface, and by bending it toward the back side and the sides, both ends are formed into a U-shape in cross section. By bending, the lower end portion is formed into a stepped shape. Of these bent portions 22 and 23, the sideward bent portion 22a and the upward bent portion 23a are each mechanically fixed to each other. Further, the plate member 21 is bent toward the back side and downward, so that the upper end portion thereof is formed into a U-shaped cross section. In this bent portion 24, a downward bent portion 24a is mechanically fixed to the sideward bent portion 22a.

In the elevator door constructed in this manner, both ends of the plate member 21 are bent toward the back side and sideways to form a U-shaped cross section, and the lower end portion is bent toward the back side and upward to form this shape. Since the lateral bent portion 22a and the upward bent portion 23a are mechanically fixed, the rigidity in the width direction of the door can be increased. Furthermore, since the door can be manufactured without using welding techniques, a painted plate can be used as the plate member 21 when assembling the door.

In this embodiment, an example is shown in which the lower end of the plate member 21 is formed in a step shape with a U-shaped cross section, but the present invention is not limited to this, and FIGS. Even if it is formed into a U-shaped cross section as shown in FIG. 5, the same effect as in the embodiment can be obtained. In this case, the leg member 31 is bent so that it can be fixed to the upwardly bent portion 32 of the plate member 21, and the leg member 31 is bent at the sidewardly bent portion of the upper end bent portion of the plate member 21. 33 and a downwardly bent portion 34 are fastened together with a backing plate 35.

As explained above, according to the present invention, there is provided a plate member that is movably provided between the upper and lower rails extending in the horizontal direction and forms the door surface, and the both ends of this plate member are moved toward the back side and the side. The door is bent to form a U-shaped cross section, and the lower end is bent toward the back side and upwards, and the sideways and upwardly bent portions are mechanically fixed. Rigidity in the width direction can be ensured. Therefore, there is no need for putty work during painting and the production of new reinforcing members, which were previously required.
It is possible to reduce costs. Further, since welding technology is not used to manufacture the door as in the past, there is no need to remove welding distortion from the plate member, and the door can be manufactured extremely easily.
