Of course, the oil dust scattered by the exhaust air also seriously pollutes the surrounding area. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the frequency of regular maintenance and cleaning, and since oil dust adhering to the equipment cannot be easily cleaned, maintenance of the equipment is extremely difficult. Recently, as a countermeasure to this problem, a filter made of thin non-woven fabric or fine metal net has been installed at the air inlet of the ventilation fan to catch relatively large oil droplets and prevent the equipment from becoming contaminated even a little. There are products on the market that are designed to reduce the frequency of cleaning.

In the final stage, air resistance increases due to soiling of the nonwoven fabric, and ventilation capacity decreases dramatically. Furthermore, even if you have a ventilation fan with a fine metal net type filter, you will need to clean it at least once a month. In ventilation fan systems used in restaurants, food factories, etc., so-called eliminator types are also manufactured, in which metal drainboards are arranged alternately as filter members for large ventilation fans or ventilation tunnels. As with each type, it is necessary to remove and clean it once a month, and conventionally, all filter devices require frequent maintenance, and it is not easy to keep them clean all the time.

This filter is configured as an endless belt, and the lower part of the belt is guided into an ultrasonic cleaning tank, and when the filter is detected to be clogged, the belt is rotated by a motor to clean the clogged portion. . Therefore, the filter can be cleaned simply by driving the motor, and there is no need to replace the filter. However, when using such a filter, as mentioned above, the ventilation capacity decreases if oil dust is to be captured reliably. If you want to increase ventilation capacity, you will inevitably have to make the air passage holes larger.
Oil dust trapping efficiency is drastically reduced. Furthermore, the filter cleaning solution requires special chemicals, which must also be replaced once a month.

Furthermore, the weir plate has a structure in which a water film is formed on the surface of the weir plate by water flowing from above to below, and furthermore, the weir plate has a porous structure. The oil dust removal device is provided with a water passage inside so that the water film is formed by water seeping from the inside of the weir plate, and the oil dust removal device is provided with a solenoid valve for water supply, so that water only flows when the ventilation fan is operated. It can also be configured to control

According to a preferred embodiment, the weir plate has a large number of small holes communicating from the inside to the surface, and the supplied water is once sent to the inside from the upper part of the weir plate, and then oozes from the inside to the surface. The water flows down from above to below, forming a thin film of water on the surface of the weir plate.

Therefore, not only the ventilation fan itself but also the oil dust removal device can be kept clean at all times, and if the air flow path and the shape of the dam plate are made rational, oil and dust can be removed without reducing the air flow rate by the ventilation fan. The collection efficiency is increased.

Moreover, not only is oil and dust collected efficiently regardless of its size, but the air flow path inside the oil and dust removal device has an appropriate shape, so air flow is not reduced and ventilation is achieved. Efficiency is maintained over a long period of time.
