Abstract

PURPOSE:To restrain vibration which is produced in the opening part of a housing integrally incorporated with a transmission, with the use of a rear plate which is disposed between an engine block and a clutch housing, by inserting seal members in both side surfaces of the rear plate, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A rear plate 4 disposed between an engine block on a vehicle and a clutch housing coupled to a transmission casing, is formed therein with recess grooves 8 at required positions on both engine block 1 side and a clutch housing 3 side. Further, seal members 9 are disposed in these front and rear recess grooves 8 so as to obtain the rear plate 4 having a vibration suppressing function. In the case of forming the recess grooves 8 in the rear plate 4, a bead 8a is formed on the other side. With this arrangement, the opening of the housing integrally incorporated with a transmission and having such a shape that the end attached to the engine is opened, is surely constrained, thereby it is possible to satisfactorily suppress hanging bell-like vibration which is produced in the opening part.

部の拘束を、比較的簡単な手段で確実に行って、従来の
自由支持の状態から固定支持の状態に近づけて、開口部
に生じるつりがね状の振動を十分抑制することができる
という効果が得られる。
