Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify operations and to improve casting quality by reading out the previously stored optimum injection patterns in accordance with inputted set values, automatically setting optimum casting conditions and controlling a hydraulic circuit for driving an injection cylinder in accordance with these casting conditions. CONSTITUTION:The various set values are inputted at the time of starting casting and the previously stored optimum injection pattern data is read out in accordance with the input values. The optimum casting conditions are automatically set after various kinds of computation. The various control sections of the hydraulic circuit for driving the injection cylinder are automatically controlled in accordance with the set optimum casting conditions. The optimum injection pattern data previously stored in accordance with the input values is read out and the optimum casting conditions are set after various kinds of the computation when an operator merely inputs the various set values to be the requirements for determining the optimum casting conditions. Further, the various control sections of the hydraulic circuit are automatically controlled. The operator is necessitated to merely input the various set data in this way. The operations are thus simplified and the casting quality is improved.

It is calculated by various calculation formulas from various set values such as the gate cross-sectional area. In order to eliminate the troublesomeness of such calculations, systems have been proposed that automatically perform calculations and display the calculation results on a display (for example, see Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 2-11657).

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the case of the above-mentioned conventional technology, although casting conditions such as injection speed can be easily calculated, the operator has to actually adjust the die-casting machine according to the obtained casting conditions. It was difficult to operate as it required shaking.

Furthermore, even if the optimum casting conditions are determined, there is a problem that the optimum conditions may vary depending on the operating conditions of the die-casting machine, such as the temperature of the mold or the temperature of the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic circuit that drives the injection cylinder. For example, taking the temperature of a mold as an example, it has been empirically proven that if the mold temperature at the start of casting is lower than a predetermined temperature, the flow of hot water in the cavity will be poor, and as a result, the casting defect rate will be high. It is known. Then, when continuous casting begins and the mold temperature falls within a predetermined temperature range, the hot water flow becomes stable and the casting defect rate becomes almost zero. Furthermore, when the mold temperature rises above a predetermined temperature, the hot water circulation becomes excessive, causing flashing and increasing the casting defect rate.

In view of this fact, the current practice is to correct the injection conditions according to the operating conditions of the die-casting machine, such as the mold temperature, based on the operator's experience, in order to reduce the defective rate.

The opening degree correction of the injection speed control valve 11 with respect to the mold temperature t is performed using the correction coefficient η of the high-speed injection speed ■1 with respect to the mold temperature LD.
The correction coefficient η is not corrected at 1.0 when the mold temperature t is within a predetermined temperature range, and when the mold temperature t is te+ below the predetermined temperature range. For example, η-1,25 indicates that the high-speed injection speed (1) is increased by 25%.

Then, the data shown in FIG. 10 is read out from the storage device ROM based on the oil temperature data manually input to the input boat 31a from the oil temperature sensor 43 through the A/D converter 44, and the injection speed control valve 11 is adjusted in accordance with the oil temperature change. (Effects of the Invention) The present invention has the above-described configuration and operation, and reads pre-stored optimal injection pattern data to automatically set the injection control conditions of the die-casting machine and automatically control various control units of the injection cylinder. Since the control is controlled in a consistent manner, the operator only needs to input various setting data, which simplifies the operation and improves casting quality.
