In vehicle engines, blow-by gas generated in the crankcase is not released into the atmosphere.
The oil particles contained inside are separated and returned to the intake pipe side, but in conventional treatment devices, the central axis of the separation element and the motor shaft that rotates it are separate, making it difficult to assemble. In this case, it is difficult to align the axes of both shafts, and the bearings are subject to significant wear.In order to solve this problem, the applicant proposed a device as shown in Fig. 5 (a) and (b).
It was previously proposed as No. 11414.

By the way, the separation device described above has the advantage that the main shaft of the motor and the central shaft of the processing element are integrated, and there is no need for alignment as in the past, making it easy to assemble and causing less wear on the bearings. Since the commutator is installed near the engine and is forced to operate in a high temperature atmosphere of 80°C to 120°C, if it is used for a long period of time, the commutator with brushes as shown in Figure 5 (a) will have no brushes. There is a risk of damage.
Furthermore, a device using a control board as shown in FIG.

As a means to achieve the above object, this invention provides a single main shaft in the center of the blow-by gas processing case and the hydraulic case, which are integrally attached, so as to be able to freely rotate between the two cases, and A blow-by gas processing element was installed in the area, while a rotating body was installed in the area inside the hydraulic case, and oil at a predetermined pressure for engine lubrication was supplied to this rotating body to rotate the main shaft at high speed. By supplying pressure oil to the rotating body, the rotating body and main shaft rotate at high speed, the processing element integrated with this also rotates at high speed, and the oil flows into the processing case through the inlet pipe. The blow-by gas crosses the processing element while colliding with it, and the oil particles contained in the gas are attracted to the surface and internal structure of the element.
This gradually aggregates and scatters toward the wall due to centrifugal action, while the gas from which the oil has been removed flows out from the center of the processing case toward the intake pipe.

The gas flows into the case 11 from the side of the processing case 11, collides with the element 14 rotating at high speed, and crosses it. The blow-by gas from which oil has been removed is encouraged to adhere to the internal tissues, flows out into the gas reservoir chamber through the through hole 14c in the upper end plate and the through hole in the upper wall of the case, and returns to the intake pipe side via the outlet pipe 11b. and also,
The oil particles urged by the material 14c gradually aggregate and become larger, are scattered around by the action of centrifugal force, flow down to the case wall surface, and are returned to the oil pan T from the drain pipe 19.

A large number of pins 14d are provided on the upper and lower end plates 14a and 14b, facing each other and intertwined, and these pins 14d direct the blow-by gas flowing out from the inlet pipe 11a.
At the same time, the gas is made to pass between the pins 14d in a zigzag pattern to make it easier to separate the oil particles. In addition, an impeller 25 serving as a rotating body is disposed inside the hydraulic case 12 to rotate the main shaft. 13, and on the side of the case 12, an oil introduction pipe 17a and a return pipe 17b are arranged parallel to each other and tangentially to the storage chamber 25a of the impeller 25 in order to effectively utilize the energy of the oil. An oil passage 25b connects the two at the same time when they are installed opposite to each other.
An injection hole 25c facing the side surface of the blade of the impeller is bored inside the inlet passage, and the oil from the pump P is jetted from the injection hole 25c toward the blade. As described above, in this invention, as a blow-by gas oil separation device, one main shaft is rotatably provided in the center of the processing case and the hydraulic case installed below the processing case, and this main shaft is installed inside the processing case. A blow-by gas processing element is attached to the inside of the engine, while a rotating body is attached to the inside of the hydraulic case, and this rotating body is supplied with oil for lubricating the engine's mechanical parts to rotate the main shaft. Therefore, when assembling the device, there is no need to perform the troublesome work of aligning and connecting the shaft of the element and its rotating body, and there is no rotating part of the main shaft that can be damaged by high temperatures. It has sufficient heat resistance and durability to withstand long-term use, and has the advantage of reducing power consumption.
