The present invention relates to a water-based ink for writing instruments, and particularly to a water-based ink for writing instruments suitable for ballpoint pens, capillary type writing instruments, etc. that require lubricity. Conventionally, ballpoint pens that use water-based ink have large friction between the ball and the tip, which causes wear on the synthetic resin or metal tip, causing the ball to wobble, resulting in blurred handwriting and difficulty in writing smoothly. There are also problems with the writing process, such as abrasion noise between the ball and tip when writing, and the writing not being smooth. Type writing instruments have the problem of large friction between the thin rod and the paper surface, which causes the thin rod to wear out, and as a result, paper fibers tend to get caught between the thin rod and the pipe, causing blurred handwriting. Therefore, it has been desired to develop a water-based ink with excellent lubricity for these writing instruments. The present inventors investigated various substances in order to develop a water-based ink with excellent lubricity, and as a result, they finally completed the present invention. Organic solvent; Water; 1,2-
Benzisothiazolin-3-one, dithio-2,
The gist of the invention is a water-based ink for writing instruments comprising at least one type or a mixture of two or more selected from 2'bis(benzmethylamide) and polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride. Next, each component of the water-based ink of the present invention will be explained. As water-soluble dyes, most dyes such as acid dyes, direct dyes, and basic dyes can be used.
To give a specific example, acid dyes include Eiseneosin GH (CI45380) and Water Black #21.
(mixed dyes of CI15985, 42090, 42745), Nigrosine NB Conch (CI50420), Phloxine (C.
I.45410), Eoshishi FA (CI45380), Solbleful OBB (CI42780), Solbleful OBC (C.
I.42755), Brilliant Blue FCF (CI42090)
Direct dyes include Direct Deep Black EX (CI30235) and Kayala Black G.
Conch (CI35225), Direct Deep Black XA (similar to CI30235), Direct First Black B (CI35435), Diacotton First Orange WS (CI29156), Phthalocyanine Blue G Conch (CI22311), Direct Sky Blue 5B (CI24400) , Direct Blue 2B (C.
I.22610), Nippon Orange GG Conch (C.
I.23375), etc., and basic dyes include Auramine O (CI41000) and Victoria Blue FB (C.
I.44045), Crampons Victoria Piure Blue
BOH (CI42595), Methyl Violet FN (C.
I.42535), rhodamine 6GCP (CI45160), malachite green (CI4200), etc. These can be used alone or in combination with other water-soluble dyes, but if you consider the water resistance and light resistance of the ink, Particularly preferred are direct dyes. Therefore, the amount of water-soluble dye used is 0.1 to 40% by weight based on the total amount of ink.
Particularly preferably 0.5 to 30% by weight. Next, water-soluble organic solvents are those that are compatible with water and are used as auxiliaries, such as ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, thiodiglycol, and ethylene glycol monomethyl. There are ether, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, diethylene glycol monomethyl ether, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, sulfolane, formamide, sorbit, sorbitan, acetin, glycerin, etc., and these are selected and used as appropriate. can,
The amount used is preferably 1 to 40% by weight based on the total amount of ink. Further, the amount of water used as the main solvent is preferably 50 to 85% by weight based on the total amount of the ink. The amount of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one, dithio-2,2'-bis(benzmethylamide), and polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride, which are the essence of the present invention, is less than 0.01% by weight based on the total amount of the ink. , the lubricity effect is small,
If it exceeds 2.0% by weight, the solubility will be poor and handwriting will become blurred, so the content is more preferably 0.05 to 1.0% by weight than 0.01 to 2.0% by weight. In addition to the above composition, penetrants such as various anionic or nonionic surfactants should be added in an amount of 5% by weight or less based on the total amount of the ink, and if metal is used in parts that come into contact with the ink, it may be necessary to prevent corrosion of the metal. for,
A small amount of a corrosion inhibitor such as benzotriazole or ethylenediaminetetraacetate can be added, and a water-soluble polymeric substance can also be added as appropriate to improve fixing properties. The ink can be manufactured by a simple operation of mixing and dissolving the above-mentioned ink components, but the ink can be manufactured more easily by heating and stirring appropriately. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained with reference to examples. In the examples, parts simply refer to parts by weight. Example 1 Eiseneosin GH (CI45380) 4.0 parts ethylene glycol 30.0 parts water 65.4 parts 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one
0.3 parts Neugen P (manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd., nonionic surfactant) 0.1 part Benzotriazole 0.2 parts After stirring the above ingredients for about 2 hours while heating them to 40 to 60°C, filter them to obtain a red water-based ink. I got it. Examples 2, 3 1,2-benzisothiazoline-3 of Example 1
A red water-based ink was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that 0.3 parts of -one was changed to 0.7 parts and 1.5 parts, and the water was reduced by the increased amount. Comparative Example 1 1,2-benzisothiazoline in Example 1
A red water-based ink was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that 3-one was removed and water was added in the same amount. Example 4 Kayara Black G Conc (CI35225, manufactured by Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd.) 7.0 parts Propylene glycol 10.0 parts Thiodiglycol 10.0 parts Water 72.0 parts Dithio-2,2'-bis(benzmethylamide)
0.5 part Score Roll 900 (manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd., nonionic surfactant) 0.1 part Benzotriazole 0.4 part The above ingredients were heated to 40 to 60°C, stirred for about 2 hours, and filtered to give a black aqueous solution. Got the ink. Example 5 A black aqueous solution was prepared in the same manner as in Example 4, except that 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one was used in place of dithio-2,2'-bis(benzmethylamide) in Example 4. Got the ink. Comparative Example 2 Example 4 except that water was added instead of dithio-2,2'-bis(benzmethylamide) in Example 4.
A black water-based ink was obtained in the same manner as above. Example 6 Soluble Blue OBB (CI42780) 3.0 parts Daiwatatrazine (CI19140) 3.0 parts Diethylene glycol 15.0 parts Sulfolane 13.0 parts Water 64.5 parts Polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride 1.0 parts Neugen P 0.1 part Benzotriazole 0.4 parts Each of the above components was mixed at room temperature After stirring for about 2 hours, the mixture was filtered to obtain a green water-based ink. Example 7 A green water-based ink was obtained in the same manner as in Example 6 except that 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one was used in place of polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride. Comparative Example 3 A green water-based ink was obtained in the same manner as in Example 6 except that water was added instead of polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride in Example 6. The inks obtained in Examples 1 to 7 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 above were filled into a commercially available metal tip ballpoint pen (tip material: brass, ball material: tungsten carbide-containing steel, ball diameter: 0.6 mm), and the writing distance was Table 1 shows the results of testing for the presence or absence of unpleasant sounds when writing, and ball sinking.
