Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （発明の背景） ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は、通話料金の課金システムに関する。
［従来技術の説明］ 従来の通話料金の課金システムは、発呼者に通
話料金が全額課金されていた。これに対して、近
年、特公昭63−22703号明細書に記載されたよう
に、不特定の発呼者がコマーシヤルメツセージ
（広告、以下CMと称する）を聞くことにより、
電話有料サービスに際して要求される費用の一部
または全部をCM提供者に転嫁するシステムが提
案されている。
このシステムの問題点として、発呼者が実際に
CMを聞いているかどうか不明であつた。CMを
聞いていない場合は、CM提供者に、通話料金が
不当に転嫁された事になり、問題であつた。
（発明の概要） 上記の問題は、例えば、CM提供者は自分の
CMを発呼者が実際に聞いているという確信が持
てるようにCM放送期間は相互作用的にすること
によつて解決される。即ち、それらCMは種々の
長さのものにして、係わりあう特定の人々にとつ
て、聴取者がCM放送期間中飽きることのないよ
うにしている。発呼者が実際に聞いているかどう
かを証明する１との方法は、CMに挿入された断
続的な質問に応答して発呼者が英数字信号又は音
声信号のいずれかを送るように発呼者に頼むこと
である。特に各CMの終りに、顧客は、例えば、
自分の電話キーパツドで番号９を押すように要求
されることがある。又、CMの内容は階層的に配
列することができ、これで顧客がボタンを押して
より多くのクレジツトを与えるCMの詳細を更に
詳しく聞くことができる。
好都合にも、このサービスに関するCM提供者
からの収入は使用電話加入者からの収入減に完全
に等しくなる必要はない。それは、電話システム
のピーク外れ期間における予備の容量の使用を促
進し、又は、顧客を更にしばしば有料呼び出しに
慣らすサービスの特性のためである。更に、料金
請求は呼び出しあたりの請求料金の減少、又は、
何らかの有料サービスに対する月ごとのクレジツ
トとすることもできる。又、商品又はサービスの
購入に有効なクーポンは全部又は一部として発呼
者が自分の協力に対する代価を受け取る形とする
こともできる。
（実施例の説明） 第１図で、市内電話ステーシヨン１１は普通の
場合一般的な電話機であつて、一般的な市内ルー
プ線及び接続部により市内電話交換システム１２
に接続されている。この市内電話交換システム１
２は有料交換システム１４を介して全電話回路網
に接続されている。市内電話交換システム１２及
び有料交換システム１４に広告（CM）メツセー
ジシステム１３が接続され、この広告メツセージ
システム１３は、上に概略した特徴の放送及び関
連する料金請求事項を提供するようになつてい
る。
一般的に、市内電話ステーシヨン１１は概略示
した市内電話機の顧客により使用され、この顧客
には、広告メツセージシステム１３からの広告メ
ツセージを聞いたり見たりした場合に顧客が受け
取る減額した電話料金の請求額又は、代価の総計
を示す請求書が返還される。
更に詳しいこのシステム内部接続は次の通りで
ある。市内電話ステーシヨン１１からの線は、顧
客の請求により、市内交換システム１２の番号案
内モジユールに交換要素１５の部分を介して接続
され、そして、一般的には、これは適切な市外局
番の後に104をダイアルすることにより接続され
る。あるいは、市内交換システム１２は、顧客が
ダイアルする始めの数字に衣存して、顧客が時間
又は天候のような特定の情報サービスを求めてい
るということを検出することもできる。これらの
サービスのいずれかに対する要求も広告メツセー
ジシステム１３からのCMを聞いたり又は見たり
することに対する減額料金又は返還代価を加入者
に提供する機会となり得る。
最も大きい使用量は長距離電話から生じると考
えられる。市内電話交換システム１２内のルーチ
ン自動番号識別（ANI）は広告メツセージシス
テム１３内の加入者分析設備と共に、この顧客を
割引長距離電話料金を受けたい者と認識すると、
顧客の有料呼び出しが完了する前に、顧客の入り
線が広告メツセージシステム１３に自動的に接続
される。サービスの最も簡単な形では、例えば、
顧客が割り引きを受けたということを示す適当な
付加（最初又は最後の）数字をダイアルすること
によつて顧客が自分の現在の呼び出しを開始した
場合は、ANIルツクアツプをすることは必要で
はない。あるいは又、いずれの形でも、別の人が
同一の線を（家庭の電話の場合のように）使用す
る場合、２桁の頭の数字を使用することができ
る、即ち、最初の数字はサービスの開始のためで
あり、そして、第２の数字は相手を特定するもの
である。市内電話交換システム１２で識別された
上記の状態の全てにおいて、信号は広告メツセー
ジシステム１３に送られ、これにより、制御信号
が有料交換システム１４、更に交換要素１６に送
られて、この有料サービスの新しい特徴が提供さ
れるまで加入者の呼び出しが中止される。従つ
て、この時点では、市内電話の加入者はより大き
な電話回路網とは接触していない。
料金請求のために、市内加入者の呼び出しの全
ては料金請求に関係する場合、市内電話交換シス
テム１２のANIに入る。これは現在の電話シス
テムでほとんど問題なしに迅速に行なわれ、そし
て、上述のように最初に又は後で行なうことがで
きる。いずれの場合にも、発呼者が料金減額の市
外サービスを望むか否かを決定するために、広告
メツセージシステム１３内に示された加入者分析
をその呼び出しに対して行なうことができる。こ
のようなサービスに興味を持たず、そして、有料
交換システム１４を介して回路網にアクセスする
場合に遅れを望まない加入者にとつて、この加入
者分析は、この加入者の呼び出しが遅延され又は
干渉されるべきではなく、直ちに有料交換システ
ム１４に接続されるべきであると直ちに決定でき
る。呼び出し側が丁度今述べた動作に気付かない
ようにこれらの分析全てを充分迅速に行なうこと
ができる。
一方、広告メツセージシステム１３内の加入者
分析が呼び出し側がCMを聴いたり受けたりする
ことによる料金の減額又は代価を望むものである
ということを決定すると、広告メツセージシステ
ム１３の適当な装置によつて適切なメツセージが
発生され、そして、このメツセージはメツセージ
トランクの１つを介して、有料交換システム１４
と市内交換システム１２を通つて市内電話ステー
シヨン１１に送られる。
実際、特に、市内加入者が自分の電話線に接続
したモニタ又はテレビジヨン装置を利用可能とし
ている場合、これらのCMは聴覚的又は視覚的の
いずれのものであつてもよい。これらのCMが終
ると、有料交換システム１４内の制御回路網は市
外呼び出しに関する通信阻止を除去し、呼び出し
は通常の仕方で制御回路網を介して送られる。明
らかに、上述のごとく、ダイアルによる呼び出し
を阻止するために、有料交換システム１４の制御
要素は呼び出し情報を記憶する充分な記憶容量を
必要とする。尚、発呼者は他のオプシヨンを有し
ている。即ち、発呼者及び被呼者の両方が聞いて
いる会話中にCMをすることができる。この場合
には、呼び出しの阻止は発呼者のこのオプシヨン
が決定されるまで続くのみである。
メツセージの終りにも、適当な料金請求項目が
CMメツセージシステム１３の料金請求部により
発生され、そして、この減額料の請求及び（又
は）代価が累積され、そして、顧客の家に毎月の
請求書と共に送られる。
どんなCMがどの呼び出し側の線に接続される
かを決定するための種々の基礎事項の中で、最初
のものは、システムに利用可能な種々の種類の人
口統計情報である。例えば、ある量の人口統計上
の群はANIに含まれる電話局符号により提供さ
れる。特定のメツセージは、例えば、ある番号の
領域からの番号案内要求の際に放送される。この
領域では、この領域に住む人々が特定の主題に興
味を持ちがちであるということが決定される。同
様な情報は、発呼者が別の番号の領域又はその国
の別の州又は領域に興味を持つということを示す
被呼者のダイアルアクセス符号又は電話局符号か
ら得ることもできる。この種の選考により又、特
定のクラスの発呼者、例えば、ビジネスマンの発
呼者の場合、特定の種類のCMを除去することが
可能になる。実際、この後者の場合、たとえCM
で減額料金の電話有料サービスを得ようと、選択
をするとしても、この種のサービスはビジネスマ
ンに向けないことが望ましい。ANIによりこの
サービスにはこの程度の制限を加えることは可能
である。
提供されるべきメツセージを決定する他の根拠
は次の例から説明することができる。（電話のキ
ーパツドにある＊印又は＃印のような記号の）接
頭符号はこの新しい経済的な市外サービスを始め
るアクセス符号とする。有料呼び出しは、例え
ば、＊＋（区域符号）＋（７つの数字）をダイアル
することによつて送られる。発呼者がこのサービ
スに興味を有しているということが市内電話局は
認識して、次のごとく記録メツセージを発生す
る。「あなたの電話パツドのキー１，２又は３を
押して１分間、２分間又は３分間のCMを選んで
下さい」 発呼者がキーを一度押すと、記録された音声放
送及び（又は）テレビ表示が呼び出し側に送られ
る。一連のCMはこの選ばれた放送時間を占有す
るために選ばれる。これは、個々のCMの大部分
が１分間よりもはるかに短いからである。
これらの放送も又不規則に選ぶことができ、あ
るいは、このサービスにCMを提供したCM提供
者の各々に充分示すように選ぶことができる。い
ずれにしても、これらのCMは大規模な大量メモ
リに記憶される。
CMは発呼者の興味に集中され、従つて、CM
提供者にとつて更に有効となり得るように、この
サービスに一般的に興味を持つ発呼者は電話会社
に、例えば、自分の毎月の請求書の適当なチエツ
クオフによつていくつかの異なるカテゴリーの主
題のどれに発呼者が興味を持つかを知らせること
ができ、又は、時々発呼者が別個のプロフイルカ
ードに書きこんで、助けとなる更に詳細な背景及
び興味に関する情報を電話会社に時々与えること
ができる。
興味のプロフイルは人にとつて特有なものであ
つて、電話番号ではないので、上記のように発送
された初期の予備的な放送の後に、メツセージは
特定の呼び出し番号に関連する多くの個々の人の
どれに発呼者が当たるかについて発呼者に自分自
身を識別するように要請することができる。この
情報は記録されたCMのどの組を発呼者が聞くか
に影響する。
更に、発呼者の興味の事柄の中で、順ぐり式の
適当なCM配列は適切なCMの無視を確実に防止
するに役立つ。
別の可能な実施は次の通りである。まず、情報
サービスブロツク１５で連続的に数個のテープが
回されるとする。各テープは特定の興味に関する
情報を含んでいる。このようなサービスを要求す
る各顧客はある時間の間このテープに接続され
る。顧客は多少なりとも不規則にこれらのテープ
からのCMを聞くはずである。実際の実施はテー
プを使用しなくてもよいが、この方法は安上りの
ものである。
上記のサービスの種々の形の全てにおいては、
明らかに、例えば、適当な数字をダイアルするこ
とによつて、顧客は今又は後で、記載資料が自分
に送られることを望むか又はセールスマンに話し
かけることを望むということを顧客が示すことが
可能となるように相互作用論理回路を拡張するこ
とができる。
尚、あきらかに、時間の経過に従つて発生され
るANI及び料金請求情報及びプロフイルカード
に関するデータの大部分から、CM提供者に利用
可能で、そして、CM提供者にとつてサービスの
価値を増大する統計的な情報が多く存在するはず
である。それでも、特定の個人のプライバシーを
保証する努力はなされるべきである。
第２図に論理的な仕方で前述のメツセージの選
択基準の大部分を示す図を概略示した。
（発明の効果） 本発明では上記従来技術の問題点である有料案
内サービス料金の問題を解決すると共に有料案内
サービスの一層の拡張促進をはかることができ
る。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図は本発明を実施する電話有料システムの
ブロツク線図、第２図は特定の加入者線に接続さ
れた放送の種類の選択に関連する電話有料システ
ムの一部のブロツク線図である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 呼び出し番号の識別を自動的に確立する手段
    と有料サービスの料金を自動的に決定する手段と
    を備えた電話交換システムにより電話ステーシヨ
    ンを電話回路網に接続する電話有料交換システム
    において、 発呼番号が通話料金の減額または無料化を受け
    るべきかを決定すると共に、発呼者が実際に広告
    を聞いているか否かを検査する加入者試験部を有
    し、通話終了後、対応通話料金を生成する手段１
    ３と、 発呼番号が通話料金の減額または無料化を選択
    している間、有料サービスに対するアクセスを遅
    らせる手段（制御信号接続）と、 市内電話ステーシヨン１１に対して記録された
    広告を送る手段（メツセージトランク）と を備えることを特徴とする電話有料交換システ
    ム。 ２ 前記加入者試験部は、発呼者に質問を発し、
    発呼者からの回答の適否を判断する ことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項に記載の
    システム。 ３ 前記加入者試験部は、広告の終了に際し、発
    呼者からの応答の有無を判断する ことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項に記載の
    システム。
