Problems to be Solved by the Prior Art and the Invention This type of automatic coating apparatus has a reciprocator in which a support bar is reciprocated in the vertical direction and is disposed near a conveyor that conveys objects to be coated in a substantially horizontal direction. ,
Two spray guns, a first and a second spray gun, which spray paint toward the object to be painted are installed on the support bar with an interval in the running direction of the conveyor, and between these two spray guns there is an object to be painted. In front of the conveyor's coating position, there is a first detection device that detects the planar shape of the front side of the object to be coated, and a reversing device that inverts the object after detecting the planar shape of the front side. A reversing device for detecting the reverse side of the object to be painted and a second detecting device for detecting the planar shape of the back side of the object to be inverted are provided, respectively, and the object to be painted is inverted by the inverting device in front of the painting position to the first spray gun. When approaching the front of the object, the first spray gun controls the paint jetting based on the data of the planar shape of the back side of the object obtained by the second detection device. Paint is sprayed on the back side, and when the spraying of the paint on the back side is completed and the object to be painted, which has been reversed by the reversing device, approaches the front of the second spray gun, the object to be painted is detected by the first detection device. By controlling the paint jetting from the second spray gun based on data on the planar shape of the front side of the object, paint is sprayed onto the front side of the object to be painted. In order to obtain this, the first detection device first detects the planar shape of the front side, then the object to be coated is reversed by the reversing device, and then the second detection device detects the planar shape of the back side. Therefore, the first of these is placed before the conveyor painting position.
Additionally, a second detection device and a reversing device for detection must be installed, which not only increases equipment costs but also requires a large installation space around the conveyor.

Means for Solving the Problems As a means for solving the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a vertical line in front of the coating position of the conveyor that divides the planar shape of one side of the object to be coated in the conveyance direction. A detection device is provided to sequentially detect data from the front of each column, and a storage device that sequentially stores data for each row sent from the detection device is connected to the detection device, and the data for each row in the storage device is stored in the storage device. A control device is provided that sequentially reads out the data in the stored order to control the paint jetting of the first spray gun, and sequentially reads the data in the reverse order of the stored data to control the paint jetting of the second spray gun. The configuration was as follows.

Functions and Effects of the Invention The automatic coating device of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, detects the planar shape of only one side of the object to be painted, and inverts the obtained shape data by the control device, thereby detecting the shape of the object to be painted. Since the shape data of the other side of the object is obtained, it is possible to obtain the shape data of both sides of the object to be painted with one detection device. In addition to the device that detects the planar shape of one side, a reversing device that detects the planar shape of one side and then flips the object to be painted, and a detection device that detects the planar shape of the other side of the reversed object are installed. This has the effect of reducing equipment costs and requiring a smaller installation space for the detection device in front of the conveyor's coating position.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a conveyor that suspends and conveys the object to be coated in the horizontal direction.A reciprocator 2 is disposed near the coating position A of the conveyor 1, and this reciprocator 2 The support bar 3, which is parallel to the running direction of the conveyor 1, is reciprocated in the vertical direction. A spray gun 4 is attached to the spray gun 4 to eject paint toward the target, and the paint supply port of each spray gun 4 is connected to each on-off valve 5 connected to a paint pumping source, and each on-off valve 5 is connected to a control device 6, respectively. The spray guns 4 are connected to each other, and the opening and closing are controlled by the opening and closing signals sent from the control device 6.The conveyor 1, which corresponds to the middle part of both spray guns 4, A reversing device 7 is provided for turning the paper and reversing it.
On the other hand, in front of the coating position A of the conveyor 1, a detection device 8 is disposed that detects the planar shape of the object to be coated a by reflecting sound waves, for example. By emitting sound waves at fixed time intervals toward the object to be coated,
The shape of the object to be coated a is sequentially detected from the front section in each vertical column divided in the conveyance direction, and the data for each column is sequentially input into a shift register 10 connected to a detection device 8. This shift register 10 has a large number of memories connected in series, which sequentially temporarily store data for each column, and the data in each memory is sequentially shifted each time a shift pulse is input. By setting the input number of shift pulses in advance, the shift register 10 outputs the set number of shift pulses after each data is input to the shift register 10. When the object a to be painted that has passed in front of the detection device 8 approaches the front of the spray gun 4 on the right side of the figure, the shape data corresponding to the object a to be painted is synchronized with the shift pulse one row at a time. The input data is sequentially input to the control device 6, and the control device 6 sends an opening/closing signal to the on-off valve 5 based on the input data. The data in each memory corresponding to the shape data of each workpiece a in 10 is sequentially read from the rear at a speed twice the shift speed. 8
The shape data on the opposite side of the facing surface is obtained, and when the object to be coated a reaches the spray gun 4 on the left side of the figure, open/close signals based on the read data are sequentially sent to the open/close valve 5. I'm starting to do that.

When the object a to be painted, whose front side plane shape is detected by passing in front of the detection device 8, approaches the front of the spray gun 4 on the right side of the figure, the shape of the front side of the object a corresponds to that of the object a. By controlling the opening and closing of the on-off valve 5 based on the shape data, the spray gun 4 sprays paint onto the front surface of the object a to be painted in accordance with the planar shape of the object a. The object a to be painted, whose front surface has been sprayed with paint, is turned 180 degrees around the vertical axis by the reversing device 7 and turned inside out, and the inverted object a approaches the front of the spray gun 4 on the left side. As described above, since the on-off valve 5 is controlled to open and close based on the shape data of the back side, the spray gun 4 is applied to the back side of the object a.
The paint is sprayed according to the planar shape.
