This relates to the improvement of vibration damping sheets used on the vibrating panel surfaces of vehicles.

There is a problem of contamination.

One means is a structure in which a non-woven or woven fabric is pasted on the surface of a damping sheet to form an anti-adhesive layer, the third means is a structure in which a mineral powder slurry is used to prevent adhesion, and the fourth means is a polyvinyl There is a structure in which a binder of butyral and diallyl phthalate monomer or thermosetting resin monomer is used in the upper layer to improve the damping effect and prevent adhesion.

The plasticizer of PVC permeates from that area and contaminates the carpet.

。The structure of the second method is that the non-woven fabric attached to the surface of the vibration damping sheet cannot sufficiently follow the ups and downs of the trunk panel, especially when luggage is placed on the floating part of the vibration damping sheet. Cracks are likely to occur. The plasticizer from the PVC seeps through these cracks and contaminates the carpet.

That is, by applying hot-melt polyester (referred to as polyester hot-melt by those skilled in the art) as an upper layer with a predetermined viscosity that has good adhesion to the damping sheet and is easy to roll coat, it is possible to improve the compatibility with the panel. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vibration damping sheet that has good properties, and since the material itself is flexible, synthetic resin sheets such as vinyl chloride containing plasticizers do not stick to carpets and cause contamination even when used for a long period of time.

The surface treatment layer is bonded by coating.

The damping sheet used has a specific gravity of about 1.6 and a thickness of 1.2 to 6.0 mm. Since the damping sheet under these conditions is not special, a normal commercially available product can be used.

A viscosity value of 11.000 to 16.000 cps at °C is used. If the viscosity is larger than this range, it will be difficult to coat, and if it is smaller than this range, the surface will become sticky, which is inconvenient. This hot-melt polyester is usually made into pellets at room temperature.

。The amount of coating is appropriately selected within this range, taking into consideration the load, usage conditions, etc. 50 to 100 g/m is sufficient for the trunk room of a normal vehicle. The coating method can be carried out by flow coating, spray brushing, or roll coating, but in consideration of productivity, coating by roll coating is preferable. As the hot-melt polyester, a commercially available product that satisfies the above-mentioned viscosity range conditions may be used. Note that plasticizers for synthetic resins include, for example, phthalate esters, and are usually added to give flexibility to products and improve moldability. The plasticizer in the soft synthetic resin sheet is blended in a large amount of about 30 to 50%.

Further, since the surface treatment layer is sufficiently softened when the damping sheet is heat-sealed, there is no problem in adhering the damping sheet to the panel surface. The hot-melt polyester surface treatment layer does not interact with the plasticizer in the synthetic resin sheet and prevents the plasticizer from migrating to the damping sheet.

If a vibration-damping structure is created by heat-sealing it to a surface, placing a coating film on the top surface, and laying a carpet of synthetic resin sheets containing a plasticizer on the coating film,
Due to its flexibility, it conforms well to the panel surface, has good inherent vibration damping properties, and does not stick to the bitumen of the damping sheet or stain the carpet during long-term use.
