Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily exchange an optical drive motor with another motor by exchanging the motor after a driving pulley is fixed to a main body frame and releasing the direct coupling between the driving pulley and the drive motor in a state where optical driving wires are wound around each pulley. CONSTITUTION:Spacers 92 are put between the flange section of a driving pulley 75 and a main body frame 11 while a motor 27 is mounted after a running table 20 is retreated from the mounted position of the motor 74. Screw sections 93A are screwed in tapped holes 93 provided into the frame 11 through stay bolts 91 screwed in stopping holes 75A through the spacers 92. Then the motor 74 is removed after a set screw 95 and screws 74a are removed. The wire put around the motor 74 is maintained in the same state. A new drive motor 74 is fixed with the screws after the rotating shaft of the new motor 74 is put in the pulley 75 and the screw 95 is set and the bolts 91 and spacers 92 are removed. Thus the exchange of drive motors 74 is completed. When this method is used, repairing or exchange of the motor can be exchanged extremely easily when the motor becomes faulty.

This is because, compared to a drive system in which drive wires are provided approximately symmetrically on the left and right sides, as described in JP-A No. 58-37670, there is less variation that can occur due to the different extension of the wires. This makes accurate straight-line scanning possible. Such cases are described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-87234, Japanese Patent Publication No. 1-45064, etc.

That is, according to Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-87234 ζ, a mirror pulley attached to a second traveling base, a pulley fixed to the main body of the image forming apparatus, and a drive pulley connected to a drive motor fixed to the main body are wound. There is a rotated drive transmission wire,
Both ends of the wire are fixed to the main body C2, and a specific point in the middle of the wire is fixed to the first carriage. Note that Japanese Patent Publication No. 1-45064 is similar to Habokore, or the wire is connected endlessly after winding, and both ends are not fixed to the main body.

As a result, the scanning optical system is configured such that the amount of movement of the second traveling table on which at least the second mirror is mounted is one half of the amount of movement of the first traveling table on which the document irradiation light source and the first mirror are mounted. A system is formed.

Then, the moving distance, moving direction, and stopping position of each carriage are ensured to be straight and precise, and the accuracy of screen scanning at each magnification is also maintained. However, ensuring the compactness of the image forming device! The fixed pulley is attached to the inner wall of the main body frame,
The drive motor is also installed inside the main frame, and the drive pulley connected to it is also installed inside the main frame. It is conceivable that the gap between each carriage and its end and the main body frame be made smaller by J.

In order to solve these problems, first of all, the scanning optical system must maintain accurate and stable operation, and the image forming apparatus housing the scanning optical system must be made as compact as possible without increasing its size. It is necessary to easily and reliably assemble and adjust the drive system, such as winding and installing wires around each pulley while maintaining Iζ. Furthermore, even if the assembly and adjustment have been completed, if the drive motor malfunctions and requires repair or replacement, the wires must be unwound, the motor must be repaired, and the wires can be reassembled after that. Going through this process takes time and effort, and results in big losses. An object of the present invention is to provide a motor replacement method that solves these problems.

To attach the pulley 37 provided on the second traveling base 30, the plate 31A is removed from the traveling base 30, and as a means for not changing its reference position, a holding metal fitting 81 is fixed to the main body frame 11 with screws 85. There is. The position of the fixing hole 11B of this screw 85 is determined from the reference position of the pulley 37. On the other hand, the pulley 37 is attached to a plate 31A with a pulley rotation spindle 38 to form a pulley unit. It is designed to be installed. When the second traveling base is removed from the main body, the pulley 37 is attached to the plate 3.
1A remains as a unit, and the screw hole 31G of the plate 31A is connected to the holding metal fitting 81.
It is tightened with a screw 82 through a fixing hole 81B of the metal fitting, and accurate positioning is achieved by a pin hole 31E and a bottle-shaped protrusion 31E' connected thereto. Further, the holding fitting 81 is fixed to the main body frame 11 with screws 85 to complete positioning. A window 11A is provided in the frame 11 of the main body 7 to facilitate this work and the work of attaching the second carriage to be described later.

After completing the winding and erection work of the wire 76 in this way, the first. The second traveling bases 20 and 30 are fitted into the kite bar 13 via the slide receivers 22 and 32, and the notches 19 at both ends of the main frame 11 are inserted into the kite bar 13.
After dropping it into the holder, it was positioned and fixed, and each traveling platform was slid to a predetermined reference position and flanted, and in that state, the holding bracket 81 was attached as shown in Fig. 3 (a) and (b). For installation, which is visible at the back of the escape hole 83 of the metal fitting 81, firmly connect the screw hole Mj of the frame 31 of the second traveling platform through the stop hole 31B of the plate 31A with the screw 3IC. At that time, the pin hole 3LD for positioning the frame 31 and the mounting plate 31A are fitted with the bottle-shaped protrusions 31D', and the frame 31 and the mounting plate 31A are fitted together.
The position of A is accurately determined, and the attachment of the second traveling base to the pulley 37 is completely completed. Moreover, the wire 76 is inserted and fixed in the clamping fitting 28 of the first traveling base at a predetermined position. In that state, the hiss 85 and 8 are removed from the holding fitting 81.

If you strain it like this, the screw hole 93 of the main body frame 11
Screw the threaded part 96A of the stay port 96 into the stopper hole 75A of the clamp part of the drive pulley 75.
The pulley 75 can be temporarily fixed to the main body frame 11 by penetrating the pulley 75 and having the stepped portion 96B receive the pulley 75, and then fastening the napht 97 to the threaded portion 96. In this case, the spacer 92 shown in FIG. 5 becomes unnecessary. Instead, you will need Natsu 97.
