[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a protective film for sensors to which cells are difficult to adhere. The term "sensor" referred to here refers to a device that is used by being incorporated into a clinical chemistry analyzer or an artificial organ, and includes sensors for dissolved oxygen, dissolved carbon dioxide, and PH, as well as biosensors made of solidified enzymes and microorganisms. The detection part is always blood,
The sensor is in contact with body fluids such as urine, and the sensor protective film covers and protects the detection area. [Prior art] Conventionally, protective films for sensors include polysulfone,
Polymer materials such as regenerated cellulose and cellulose acetate are used. In protective films for sensors using these materials, cells adhere to the material surface, causing a decrease in the sensitivity and response speed of the sensor. Therefore, materials to which cells do not adhere are required for protective films for sensors. [Object of the Invention] An object of the present invention is to provide a protective film for a sensor with less cell adhesion by using an amino acid polymer. [Structure of the Invention] The present inventor has conducted various studies on materials that have properties that make it difficult for cells to adhere to them, and has found that oxidation-treated films of methionine polymers or amino acid copolymers containing methionine significantly inhibit cells. It has been found that it has the property of not causing any adhesion and is suitable as a protective film for sensors, and has completed the present invention. That is, according to the present invention, in a protective film for a sensor, at least the surface layer thereof is composed of a film of a methionine polymer or an amino acid copolymer containing methionine and not containing leucine, and the film is subjected to an oxidation treatment, A protective film for a sensor is provided, characterized in that the methionine component is oxidized to its sulfoxide. The protective film for sensors of the present invention is produced by forming a methionine polymer or an amino acid copolymer containing methionine and not containing leucine (hereinafter also simply referred to as an amino acid polymer) into a film shape, and then oxidizing this film body. It can be obtained by oxidation treatment with a chemical agent, and by applying an amino acid polymer in the form of a film on the surface of a film formed in advance from other polymeric materials.
After that, it can be obtained by oxidizing treatment with an oxidizing agent. Methionine used as an amino acid constituent of the present invention and the amino acid used as a copolymer component thereof may be D-form, L-form, or racemic form. In addition, the amino acids used as copolymerization components of methionine include conventionally known amino acids, such as alanine, glycine, valine, glutamic acid γ-methyl ester, glutamic acid γ-benzyl ester, aspartic acid β-methyl ester, and asparagine. Examples include acid-β-benzyl ester, N-benzyloxycarbonyl lysine, and N-benzyloxycarbonyl ornithine. The molecular weight of the amino acid polymer may be such that it forms a film. The methionine content in the methionine-containing amino acid copolymer varies depending on the type of amino acid that is a copolymerization component, but is preferably 30 mol% or more. As the oxidizing agent, commonly used oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, iodine, and iodate are used. The oxidation treatment time is appropriately selected depending on the type, concentration, and temperature of the oxidizing agent, the type of amino acid, and the copolymerization composition. ). [Example] Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples. Example 1 Poly-L-methionine was dissolved in tetrachloroethylene, poured onto a glass plate, and air-dried to obtain a film (thickness: 0.054 mm). This film was oxidized by immersing it in a 15% aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution at room temperature for 35 minutes, and then immersed in hot water for 8 hours or more. It was confirmed that the methionine component in the film was oxidized to sulfoxide by this oxidation treatment. Next, a culture solution containing human-derived epithelial cells (approximately 100,000 cells/ml) was left in contact with the oxidized film, and the film was placed in a room at 37°C with a carbon dioxide concentration of 5% and humidity of 100%. After 17 hours, the film was lightly washed with phosphate buffer, and the amount of cells adhering to the film was quantified by nuclear staining. For comparison, a similar cell adhesion test was conducted using polysulfone, which is used as a protective film for sensors, and a commercially available cell culture sheet as a standard sample. The cell attachment rate was determined by dividing the amount of cells attached to the film by the amount of cells attached to the standard sample. The results are shown in Table 1.

The present invention provides a protective film for a sensor that has an oxidized amino acid polymer film on its surface, which can significantly suppress cell adhesion. Therefore, even if the sensor detection part coated and protected with the sensor protective film of the present invention is brought into contact with a test liquid containing cells such as blood or urine, adhesion of cells in the test liquid will be prevented. , there is no decrease in sensitivity or response speed as a sensor.
