However, this conventional road guardrail,
The protective material is constructed relatively low so that a car can hit it, so a car that crashes into it due to incorrect driving could climb over it and fall off the road.Furthermore, the support pillars have no cushioning properties. The severe impact force caused problems such as damage to cars and serious injuries to people.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, this invention has a structure in which the pillar has an inclined fixed shaft whose lower part is buried,
It consists of a hollow inverted J-shaped sliding column that fits on the outside of this fixed shaft so that it can slide up and down and cannot be removed. The fixed shaft is buried at a required angle and tilted outward from the road, and the sliding column is curved. Some have a shaped head facing the center of the road and a rail-shaped protective material fixed to this head so that the sliding support can slide upward in the event of a collision with a car.

According to this invention, the inverted J-shaped sliding column is hollow and has a curved head facing inward toward the road, so it has cushioning properties against car collisions and also slides along with the fixed shaft. Since the strut is tilted outward from the road, a component of the horizontal impact force acts in the axial direction, causing the sliding strut to slide upward and elongate the entire strut.

An embodiment of this invention will be described based on the accompanying drawings. As shown in FIG. 3, the road guardrail of this invention includes a plurality of extensible upright columns 1 buried along the edge of a road B, and a plurality of extensible upright columns 1 that are connected and fixed to the upper ends of the columns 1. It consists of a rail-shaped protective material 2.

The fixed shaft 3 is buried with a fixed shaft 3 tilted outward from the road at a required angle α, and the sliding column 4 has a curved head 5 facing the center of the road. A rail-shaped protective member 2 made of a shaped steel plate is screwed to the tip end surface of the head 5.
As shown in FIG. 2, the sliding strut 4 can be slid upward by the axial component force A exerted by the impact force F of the automobile, and has appropriate cushioning properties against the impact force F. I own it.

It becomes strong. In addition, when fixing the fixed shaft 3 to the board 7, the nut 8 for screwing the sliding column 4 is fitted into the fixed shaft 3 in advance.

The sliding column 4 is attached to the fixed shaft 3 by inserting the upper half of the fixed shaft 3 into the cylinder wall 9 and screwing a nut 8 into the male screw 10 at the lower end so that it can freely slide up and down and cannot be removed. Note that an airtight packing is fitted between the nut 8 and the fixed shaft 3.

が発生する。 As shown in FIG. 2, the support column 1 is a hollow body, has a curved head 5, and has appropriate cushioning properties against the horizontal impact force F on the protective material 2. Since the sliding column 4 slides upward due to the axial component A of the impact force F, the entire column expands, making it possible to prevent the collided car from falling off the road. The cylinder wall 9 of the sliding strut 4 and the collar 6 of the fixed shaft 3 are airtight, and when the sliding strut 4 slides upward, the inside of the cylinder 9 becomes high pressure and the hollow part above the cylinder wall 9 becomes vacuum. This results in a large buffering effect.

The protective material 2 may be in the form of a rail of shaped steel plates, or in the form of a rope.

As mentioned above, in the road guardrail of this invention, when a car collides with the support, the support expands so that the car does not fall over the road and fall off the road, and the support has appropriate cushioning properties. Therefore, it is extremely useful for traffic safety, such as reducing car damage and personal injury.
