- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 内面にカラーフイルタを設けた一方の透明基板
と、それに対向する他方の透明基板との間に、ス
ペーサを配置するとともにシール部で囲んだ液晶
層を封入したカラー液晶表示素子において、 前記一方の透明基板の内面に上記シール部の配
置領域以外の位置でシール部の配置領域の内外に
カラーフイルタを形成し、シール部の外側のカラ
ーフイルタをダミー層としたことを特徴とする、
カラー液晶表示素子。
