[Technical Field of the Invention] The present invention relates to a heating device in a continuous annealing furnace for annealing metal strip. [Conventional Continuous Annealing Furnace] Figure 1 shows an outline of a conventional continuous annealing furnace for continuously annealing metal strips such as cold-rolled steel sheets and tin plates. The metal strip 1 that has been squeezed from the bay-off reel and passed through a cleaning tank and looper is fed to a furnace. In the furnace, rolls R (referred to as helper rolls) are installed at the upper and lower parts of the furnace, and while running vertically between these rolls R, the furnace undergoes the necessary heating and cooling, and is heated to a specified level at room temperature. Material properties such as high tensile strength and deep drawability are provided. By the way, in the heating zone, strip 1 is usually radiant heated to a maximum of 650 to 800 degrees Celsius using the radiant tube method, but the maximum temperature of strip 1 is set to be as high as 900 to 950 degrees Celsius, and it is heated above 700 to 800 degrees Celsius. It has recently become increasingly clear that increasing the speed to 10°C/sec or higher can improve deep drawability. However, in the current radiant heating using radiant tubes, due to the limitations of the material of the radiant tubes, the above-mentioned strip temperature reaches 2 to 3℃/
The heating rate is only about seconds. Therefore, there is a need for a method and apparatus for increasing the rate of strip heating in such high temperature ranges, and such a method and apparatus are highly desired today. [Object of the present invention] The present invention satisfies the above-mentioned needs, and provides a heating device for a continuous annealing furnace for metal strips that is capable of heating metal strips to a higher temperature than conventional methods and also capable of high-speed heating. The purpose is to provide More specifically, it is an object of the present invention to provide such a device that can increase the amount of radiant heat transferred from the gas jet plenum to the strip. [Configuration of the Present Invention] The present invention is characterized in that, as a means for achieving the above object, fins are provided inside the plenum portion. That is, the present invention provides a heating device for a continuous annealing furnace for metal strip, which is equipped with a plenum chamber that injects heating gas to a traveling metal strip.
This heating device for a continuous annealing furnace for metal strip is characterized in that a plurality of fins are installed on the inner surface of the wall of the plenum chamber facing the metal strip. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail based on FIGS. 2 to 4. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a heating device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a vertical cross-sectional view of the device shown in FIG. Moreover, FIG. 4 is a longitudinal sectional view of a heating device which is another embodiment of the present invention. In FIGS. 2 and 3, 1 is a metal strip, 2 is a plenum chamber, 3 is a gas jet nozzle, 4 is a fin, and 5 is a gas supply duct. Gas heated to a higher temperature than the strip 1 is supplied into the plenum chamber 2 through the duct 5,
The gas is uniformly distributed inside the gas jet nozzle 3, and hits the strip 1 to heat it. In the above embodiment, the fins 4 are located between the gas jet nozzles 3, 3 and have a portion 6 facing toward the strip 1.
The figure shows a structure in which the base is located at the base and the tip protrudes into the plenum chamber 2. Such a fin 4 is connected to the gas jet nozzle 3,
3, the temperature of the portion 6 facing the strip can be brought closer to the gas jet temperature, thereby increasing the amount of radiant heat transferred to the strip 1 and increasing the heating rate of the strip 1. For example, if the average wind speed in plenum chamber 2 is 50
Table 1 shows the experimental results of the temperature of the outer surface of the chamber 2 and the heat flux due to radiation to the strip 1 with and without fins 4 having a width of 10 mm and a height of 100 mm in the case of m/sec. In addition, this experiment was conducted at 1250℃ as a gas.
Using HN gas, the average temperature of strip 1 is
The temperature is 815°C, the emissivity of plenum chamber 2 is 0.8, and the emissivity of strip 1 is 0.3.

[Table] As is clear from Table 1, the radiation heat flux is approximately doubled by providing the fins. The heat flux due to convection by the gas jet is 4×10 4 kcal/m 2 h
℃, so if fins are provided, the overall heat flux is calculated using the following formula: 3.0×10 4 +4.0×10 4 /1.4×10 4 +4.0×10 4 =
1.3 The heating rate can therefore be increased by 1.3 times. Conversely, by providing such fins, the heat load due to gas jet convection can be reduced to 1/1.3, leading to energy savings. Such fins are not limited to the continuous shape as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, but may also have an interrupted shape as shown in FIG.
The arrangement of the fins may also be in a zigzag shape in the vertical direction in Figure 4.On the other hand, instead of installing fins on the blowout side of the gas jet as shown in Figure 2, fins can be placed on the wall opposite to the wall where the gas jet is installed. , and bring the temperature of the wall where the fin is installed close to the gas temperature.
Radiant heat transfer can increase the temperature of the surface on which the gas jet is installed, thereby increasing the amount of radiant heat transferred to the strip. Further, the shape of the nozzle is not limited to the slit shape, but may also be a circular hole shape. [Effects of the present invention] As described in detail above, the present invention provides fins on the inner surface of the plenum chamber, so it is possible to increase the amount of radiant heat transferred from the plenum chamber to the metal strip, and furthermore, the amount of radiation heat transfer from the plenum chamber to the metal strip can be increased. This has the effect of increasing the temperature rate.
