Concerning molded sliding parts that have extremely excellent friction and wear characteristics, especially long-term sustainability and low friction noise caused by sliding (Conventional technology and its problems) In recent years, Electronic equipment such as audio/visual (AV) equipment and printers
In the field of electrical equipment, sliding parts for office equipment, and mechanical parts,
Plastics are being used in place of metals primarily to significantly reduce costs, including assembly and processing costs, and to reduce weight. Currently, polybutylene terephthalate (PB
T) and polyethylene terephthalate (hereinafter referred to as PET)
Thermoplastic polyester resins and polyacetal (hereinafter referred to as POM) resins are widely used for sliding parts and mechanical parts because of their excellent physical and chemical properties such as mechanical strength as well as friction and wear properties. However, in such fields, it is often necessary to further improve the properties of the abrasive, especially in order to reduce assembly processing costs by making sliding parts greaseless and to improve the quality of molded products.
Further improvement in frictional wear characteristics and long-term sustainability, as well as reduction in frictional noise caused by sliding, and low frictional noise are required.

There was a problem in that the wear characteristics were significantly reduced, resulting in a lack of long-term stability and reliability as a sliding component. Furthermore, polyacetal resins have problems in that they produce a large amount of frictional noise when sliding between similar materials, and that their frictional and wear characteristics are insufficient for long-term use.

If the content of the graft copolymer is 90% by weight or more, the physical properties such as heat resistance and mechanical strength of the molded product will deteriorate. Further, the wear characteristics are also deteriorated, and the amount of wear on itself becomes large, which is not preferable. Furthermore, if the graft copolymer content is less than 25% by weight, sufficient long-term stable frictional wear characteristics and low friction noise cannot be obtained. Furthermore, since the molding shrinkage of the molded product becomes large, reinforcing the molded product with glass fibers increases the anisotropy of the molding shrinkage and tends to cause warping, which is undesirable as it also reduces dimensional stability.

Examples include calcium silicate and titanium dioxide, but particularly preferred are glass fiber, glass flakes, and glass peas. If the amount added exceeds 0 to 45% by weight of the composition, fluidity during molding will decrease, and moldability and surface condition will deteriorate. Moreover, the coefficient of friction becomes large and the sliding characteristics deteriorate, which is not preferable.

In addition, as a fricative sound characteristic, the occurrence of squeak noise during sliding was evaluated in the same test as above. Fricative sound characteristics were evaluated between similar materials.

A cylindrical molded piece with a height of 15+++ m and a standard test piece for measuring each physical property were prepared, and the sliding characteristics and other physical properties were evaluated. As comparative examples, PBT resin and polyacetal resin were also evaluated in the same manner. The results are shown in Table 1.
